Sorry for not uploading this, this is actually the first fanfic i choose to edit, due to the low reader count and the story need a lot of reference from China Tv and Movie, so i drop it.
This is the chapter from P@treon and as a gift for the Eid Fitr i decided to release all from it to here.
======================================
After hearing the phrase "God Avoid," Ron couldn't help but think of Kid's infamous declaration, "God avoids me but I don't want to avoid him, I'm more hideous than the gods!" The mental image of Kid's defiant head was vivid, and Ron knew exactly how it turned out—both the pirate ship and the historical text were gone.
"What about the follow-up? Don't keep us in suspense," Aokiji urged.
"Don't worry," Rayleigh reassured, taking another sip of his drink before continuing the story. "In the end, Akainu managed to block it. The old man said he was still very brave, but he got a severe beating from Roger. Tsk tsk tsk... That tragedy is still fresh in my memory. If Sengoku hadn't arrived in time, Admiral Akainu might have met a different fate."
Aokiji nodded in satisfaction with the outcome but expressed regret, saying, "Akainu didn't lose any of his legs. His life is so good."
Ron couldn't help but sigh at the revelation, thinking, Prophet, sword! It seemed there was more to Akainu's story than his inability to get along with others. No wonder Akainu had broken Ron's legs two years later. It wasn't just about not fitting in; there was a deeper history.
However, Ron acknowledged that Rayleigh's story wasn't baseless; it appeared to be true. The timeline matched, as Akainu was likely a Marine Vice Admiral at the time, and the incident occurred before the Ohara incident. Roger had not yet reached Raftel at that point.
"Come on, let me tell you some interesting things about Sengoku," Rayleigh suggested, taking another swig of wine with a smile. Having administered a beating to the enemy general Shakky the previous night with the "bigger and smaller" pills, Rayleigh was in a good mood today. The chat box was wide open, and he was willing to share some intriguing tales from the past.
Rayleigh continued to share various amusing stories, including Garp's drunken revelations, Sengoku's late-night fast food adventures, and a humorous encounter involving a drunk Roger and a female pirate who might have been Shakky.
As Rayleigh recounted tales of Roger, Sengoku, Kong, Garp, and others, Kizaru and Aokiji listened intently, their eyes shining with interest. They occasionally asked questions, creating a lively atmosphere in the pub. Ron, Tohru, and the rest were also absorbed in the entertaining narratives.
As the hours passed and the sun began to rise, Rayleigh paused, perhaps feeling a bit fatigued or nostalgic for the bygone days. Aokiji and Kizaru, having emptied their wine bottles, stood up to leave.
With a smile, Ron inquired, "Fifty million Berry, who will pay?" The two Marine Admirals exchanged glances, their faces betraying a sense of bitterness. They were left with no choice but to pool together all the money and cards they had, just enough to cover the bill.
"Boss, we'll come back for a drink another day," Aokiji said with a grim expression before leaving the tavern. Spending tens of millions on a drink and receiving a beating in return wasn't anyone's idea of a pleasant experience.
Kizaru followed Aokiji's footsteps, his body covered in scratches from the recent encounter with Yoruichi. Despite the injuries, he fulfilled the appointment made with Rayleigh to purchase the pills that could alter one's size at a cost of five million berries each. Surprisingly, Rayleigh agreed happily to the deal.
"Paying five million Berry, isn't that a bit of a loss?" Ron questioned, considering the exchange rate where ten pills were equivalent to one Devil Fruit.
Rayleigh, with an excited expression, suggested, "Break one into five parts, mix it with some flour, knead it into its original shape, and sell it to him. You'll make a lot of money!"
Ron raised an eyebrow at the suggestion. "Profiteer!" If Kizaru knew the truth, he might be furious.
At that moment, the system's mechanical voice sounded in Ron's mind:
[Ding, three customers, Rayleigh, Aokiji, and Kizaru, have finished talking.]
[Customer Rayleigh: Armament Haki, Sword Skill, Host can choose one of the abilities.]
[Customer Aokiji Armament Haki, Observation Haki, Logia Frozen Fruit, Host can choose one of the abilities.]
[Customer Kizaru: Armament Haki, Observation Haki, Logia Glint-Glint Fruit, Host can choose one of the abilities.]
Ron whispered, "Choose Rayleigh's sword skills and merge them. Select Frozen Fruit and Glint-Glint Fruit, and put them into the system warehouse."
The system confirmed the selections, and the merging process began.
Rayleigh's sword skills quickly became second nature to Ron, as if the knowledge had been absorbed instantly.
"Kid, what are we having for lunch?" Rayleigh asked, noticing Ron lost in thought.
Before Ron could respond, the system provided the merged abilities.
Suddenly, the tavern doorbell rang with a jingle. The door opened to reveal a tall, beautiful figure. The sound of high heels tapping on the floor accompanied the entry, filling the tavern with a permeating chill. Ron greeted the visitor with a smile, saying, "Welcome."
"The owner of the Wanjie Tavern... become my man from now on!" the newcomer declared.
"Um???"
...
In Fleet Admiral Marine's office in Marineford, Sengoku glared at Kizaru and Aokiji, both furious. He couldn't comprehend why the two high-ranking officers were behaving so recklessly.
"If it's possible, I'd demote you to vice admiral!" Sengoku exclaimed, exasperated. The duo had returned with injuries—one casually sipping tea with crossed legs, and the other dozing off on the sofa.
"Aokiji took me out for a drink today," Kizaru explained calmly. "When I witnessed the black cat scratching Tensei, he even signaled me to verify its authenticity."
Kizaru continued to sip his tea, asking the medical staff to bandage his wounds. Despite the close proximity to the leader's reprimand, he remained nonchalant.
Sengoku was momentarily stunned, his eyes reflecting disbelief. The black cat again?
After a brief silence, Sengoku reluctantly inquired, "You didn't evade?"
" I couldn't evade at all, and that cat seems to have an impact on the soul," Kizaru replied.
"Then you didn't elementalize your body?"
"Even after using it, I still couldn't avoid it," Kizaru admitted with a shrug, wincing as the movement caused pain from his wounds.
Sengoku stood there, struggling to calm his thoughts for an extended period. The mysterious influence of that black cat was proving to be quite a conundrum for even the highest echelons of Marine leadership.
