Amidst the oddity of the technique's name, Ron made the choice, whispering, "Select Hei Xiaohu's Tenma Ranbu(Heavenly Demon Boisterous Dance) and Rayleigh's Conqueror's Haki."
The Demonic Dance, Hei Xiaohu's most formidable skill, shared the embarrassing quality of its name. On the other hand, in terms of cost effectiveness, Rayleigh's Conqueror's Haki stood out, surpassing his other abilities.
With the system's voice announcing the initiation of the merging process, Ron felt an inexplicable shiver. A peculiar sensation coursed through his body, akin to an influx of energy, warm and comforting, without any discomfort. Suppressing the urge to moan, he focused, considering Rem's presence.
The sensation persisted, permeating his organs and extending to his limbs until it finally erupted, a surge of power spreading throughout his being. In the following moment, a magnificent energy burst forth from Ron, overturning every table, chair, and wine cabinet in the tavern.
As the chaos settled, Ron regained his senses, bewildered by the wreckage strewn around. He questioned aloud, "Was this the inner power of Tenma Ranbu, chi, or Conqueror's Haki?"
The simultaneous fusion of two forces left Ron unable to discern if the outburst was from Conqueror's Haki or Tenma Ranbu. However, the name Tianmo Ranwu seemed especially distinct.
Meanwhile, Rem was busy cooking in the kitchen, and upon hearing the commotion, Ram hurried out. Witnessing the scene, the sisters swiftly prepared to tidy up the tavern.
"Let's eat first. We'll handle these tomorrow," Ron gestured to Rem and Ram, halting their cleanup efforts.
Realizing it was already seven in the evening, Ron didn't want Rem to overwork, and he didn't wish for Ram to appear too opportunistic.
"Okay then, Master..." Rem nodded, guiding Ram back to the kitchen.
Observing their departure, Ron sighed inwardly. He acknowledged the invaluable support of his friend and the repeated assistance he received from Rem and Ram.
After refocusing, Ron lightly clenched his fists.
"Hmm..."
A lavender aura enveloped Ron's body, instantly pulverizing the floor beneath him with its terrifying power.
"If we continue the experiment, I'm afraid the tavern will be gone," Ron murmured, dispersing the released power.
Because of the differences in this world, Ron found it challenging to gauge his strength against the powerful individuals in the pirate world, especially after utilizing Tenma Dance to its full extent.
However, one thing was certain: Ron's current strength was sufficient to defeat a Vice Admiral, a significant improvement from his weaker state just a day ago.
Eager to explore Conqueror's Haki, Ron was interrupted by the enticing aroma of food from the kitchen.
"Master, dinner is ready. Let's have abalone sashimi tonight!" Rem's voice called out, tempting Ron's hunger.
Unable to resist the appeal of delicious food, Ron abandoned the idea of experimenting with Conqueror's Haki.
The following morning, before the tavern's opening, Rem and Ram were busy tidying up the previous day's mess.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and a pair of long white legs in high heels entered the tavern slowly.
Just as Ron emerged from the backyard, he cast a thoughtful glance at the woman entering the tavern—a female Marine Vice Admiral, elegant and alluring like a blossoming rose, yet with a subtle air of danger surrounding her.
Despite her entry, she cautiously surveyed the surroundings, her gaze resting momentarily on Rem and Ram. An almost imperceptible frown creased her brow as if questioning the presence of what appeared to be young staff in maid attire, adding a shade of doubt to the establishment's credibility.
Having ensured there was no immediate threat, the woman held back slightly, positioning herself at the door's side. Shortly afterward, a burly elder in a cloak of justice strode in. With a voluminous afro and the emblematic seagull symbol of peace adorning his Marine cap, he was none other than Marine Fleet Admiral Sengoku of the Buddha. Accompanying him was Gion, a subsequent Marine Vice Admiral.
"Welcome," Ron greeted with a hint of surprise in his voice, wondering why high ranking officials such as the Marine Marshal would personally visit for drinks.
"Ron, correct? I've heard about your excellent wine from Vice Admiral Tokikake. Let's have a drink today," Sengoku smiled, taking a seat at the bar.
As Gion approached, she placed a box on the counter, revealing neatly stacked Berry bills within, meant as payment for the wine.
"This is the money for the wine I promised," she stated, not taking a seat but positioning herself nearby, overseeing as if on guard duty.
Although appreciative, Ron attempted to decline the payment, suggesting he could collect it from the Marine headquarters himself. However, he discreetly stowed away the box filled with Berry bills.
"You've earned it," Sengoku remarked, noticing Ron's keenness for wealth. He understood that satisfying such desires could facilitate Ron's potential cooperation with the Marines.
Wary of Ron losing touch with worldly interests, Sengoku aimed to ensure an amenable relationship, understanding the importance of such connections in their line of work.
In the midst of the tense atmosphere that ensued after Rayleigh's sudden entrance, Ron swiftly moved into action to ease the tension in the tavern.
"Welcome back, Rayleigh," Ron greeted cheerfully, deliberately cutting through the silence that had settled in. "I'm glad you enjoyed the wine. Have a seat; there's more to enjoy."
Rayleigh, initially taken aback by the solemnity of the moment, slowly relaxed at Ron's welcoming words. He flashed a knowing grin and, with a chuckle, dropped the bag of gold coins on the counter.
"Haha, as good as always, boss!" Rayleigh exclaimed, moving toward the bar. "I've come to relish more of your fine brews today!"
The atmosphere in the tavern shifted back to a more relaxed mood as Rayleigh's jovial demeanor dissipated the tension. Sengoku, slightly amused by the sudden turn of events, couldn't help but smile faintly. He turned back to Ron.
"It seems your establishment attracts quite the spirited crowd," Sengoku remarked, a glint of humor in his eyes.
Ron nodded with a smile, expertly navigating the situation. "Indeed, we cater to all kinds of customers here. Would you like to continue with another round of Fenjiu or perhaps try something different?"
Sengoku considered for a moment, still captivated by the pleasant aftertaste of the Fenjiu. "Another round of Fenjiu sounds delightful, thank you."
With a nod from Ron, Sengoku's glass was refilled, and the atmosphere gradually returned to a more relaxed state, the brief tension of the moment before fading into the tavern's lively ambiance once again.
