One Thousand years ago, a legend was born in a world that was not ruled by politics, democracy or a constitution, a world where people roamed free, a world of swordsmen and magic, a world where marriage was not optional, and in this world a man was born whose fate was unlimited, one could say he had no fate.
In a far away kingdom of Ambrosia Walter was born. His Father and His Mother lived a completely ordinary life as commoners. Walter grew up and was raised well with the rest of his siblings, the children of his parents were five in number including him. As Walter grew he began to wander off, and by the age of twelve he had already began to wander far off their little village into different cities, His journey's of exploration normally took Him two days to complete, and if he went off really far, it'll take him four.
His parents weren't really worried about him, because they knew they had four more children to their name,.so if one died it would'nt be a problem.
A day came when Walter accompanied by His friends, Browny and Cunty, set off on a journey to the Royal capital, the journey getting there took two days
" Now this place is really massive Walter!" Browny exclaimed with His mouth wide open. Walter Nodded His head and remained expressionless because he had been there about two times.
"Check this buildings out Browny, they look like castles!" Cunty expressed to Browny who was already wandering off into the street salers.
"Hey, did you come here with money?" Walter asked Browny.
"Yeah duh, who sets out on a journey to a completely different place without money?" Browny defended while trying out some apples a man with a fake smile was selling.
"So...." Cunty said looking at Walter's face for an expression. Walter finally gave him some attention " So what Cun Cun?" Walter asked Cunty with his nickname.
"What do you do when you arrive in new city and stuff? Do you just start buying stuff?" Cunty asked Walter who was shocked to hear Cunty make sense for once.
"Well.. You are right, let's go rent an inn or something" Walter replied him still surprised. They paid for an inn and while they were trying to cool off Browny brought up the question "so Walter when are you going to show us the girl... You know that's why we came here right? " Walter's eyes opened as He remembered the way he had bragged to all his friends about meeting a total doll in the Royal capital.
Now this was true, at least a little bit, he stumbled unto her or she crashed into him when he was exploring the city the last time he came, she was a really pretty girl about the same age as him, she had dark hair and a totally tanned skin, the girl was pretty dressed and looked like a noble, she had a quarrel with her mother and what looked like her maid was chasing her, "I'm really sorry... I was being chased " the young girl said as she was cleaning her dress. "No problem at all..." He said waiting to hear her name. She had stopped running, and it looked like she lost the maid chasing her so she decided to stand for a little while and talk "My name is Genevieve... Genevieve Gonzalez " She told him waiting for his own reply.
"I'm Walter Pedery, you seem like a really friendly person" he added and she returned a smile "and you look like you're not from around here" She said trying to faze him, he grinned and replied " no I'm not, I'm just a passer-by"
"Do you mind going for a walk?" He asked her hoping to prolong their conversation.
" Actually I can't, I'm in a hurry" she said, "now who in their right senses will go for a walk with a stranger they ran into" she thought, and indeed she needed to be weary because she was a noble.
"Maybe another time, if we meet again" she told him while running off. Walter was disappointed, but he reasoned that he also wouldn't follow any stranger he just met, and let it go. That Was Their First Meeting. And that's really what happened between them.
But what he told his friends when he got back.. Well, we'll leave it for another chapter.
