Adonis Kane was on his way to Kane Hotel.
After a quick glance into the tent, he had left right away with his men. Most of the mafia people attending had been old pals of the Lieself leader who had died. They were acquaintances from the time of his prime when the Lieself Mafia House had been successful and one in the medium to top levels of influence and wealth.
They had been allies of the Lieself House before the leader had gone completely rogue and drunk himself into a puddle.
Most of the men there ran successful Mafia Houses of their own.
The funeral had been sombre. No one had cried but the sobs of the widow the old Mafia leader had left behind still sobbed softly into her handkerchief.
Adonis Kane watched the buildings whizz past as the car moved quickly toward Kane Hotel.
None of the agents had seemed relaxed or different in any way. They had seemed… agitated.
