Four years had passed, and the twins, Miquella and Malenia, had grown into young individuals with a deepening bond. It was the first day of school, and they eagerly prepared themselves for the exciting journey ahead. but both for different reasons Malenia because she was excited to finally learn and discover new things and Miquella because it meant he was closer to the time that their quirks were going to activate
Miquella stood next to Malenia. Stepping outside, they were greeted by the gentle morning sun, casting a warm glow on their faces.
"Ugh, my stomach has been hurting all morning," Miquella grumbled, clutching his abdomen. 'I probably shouldn't have eaten that extra serving of pancakes.' Glancing at Malenia, he noticed a similar discomfort etched on her face.
As they readied themselves for school, an intense wave of discomfort suddenly washed over Miquella and Malenia, causing them to lurch forward and grasp their heads tightly. Sensing their distress, their mother, Marika, drew closer to offer support.
Miquella let out a pained cry, his small frame trembling. Gradually, radiant light began to emanate from his body, growing brighter with each passing moment. The air around him seemed to vibrate with the intensity of his awakening power.
Beside him, Malenia doubled over, her hands clawing at the ground. Crimson tendrils snaked across the earth, causing the grass and flowers to wither. A scarlet miasma billowed from her, carrying a faint scent of decay.
Marika's eyes widened in alarm as she witnessed her children's powers surging forth, brimming with raw potential. The intertwining display of golden light and crimson tendrils created a mesmerizing spectacle. The ground trembled, and a few nearby windows shattered under the weight of their power.
Miquella's glowing rays of light and Malenia's red tendrils clashed in a struggle for control. Their powers surged and waned, akin to the rhythmic tide of creation and destruction.Amidst the escalating chaos, Marika called out to her children, her voice barely audible over the commotion. Slowly, Miquella and Malenia turned their heads, their wide and unfocused eyes glowing with an intense golden hue.
With a shuddering breath, the siblings' powers began to subside, the light dimming and the scarlet miasma dissipating. Exhausted from their outburst, Miquella and Malenia collapsed. Their mother and a concerned butler quickly attended to them, recognizing the need for medical attention. The butler hurriedly called an ambulance, while Marika cradled her children in her arms, a mixture of relief and concern washing over her...
As Miquella regained consciousness, he found himself surrounded by the almost blinding lights of a hospital room. Glancing to his side, he noticed his sister, Malenia, lying in a hospital bed of her own. She looked like she had just woken up from the longest nap of her life. Their mother, Marika, stood nearby, her eyes filled with both relief and worry.
Blinking away the remnants of sleep, Miquella's first question emerged. "How long was I asleep for?"
"Only a few hours, dear," Marika replied softly, with relief washing over her face. "The doctor thinks that your quirks drained your stamina." She reached out and gently squeezed Miquella's hand. Malenia shifted in her bed, drawing Miquella's gaze. "I'm so glad you're awake," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "We were so worried about you."
Miquella felt a pang of guilt for causing his family such distress. He opened his mouth to speak, but before he could utter a word, a doctor entered the room with a serious expression on his face.
"Ah, good, you're both awake," the doctor said, addressing Miquella and Malenia. "Now that you've had some rest, we would like to run a few tests to assess the extent of your quirk manifestations." He paused a hint of curiosity in his eyes. "I must say, from what we hear, the display you both exhibited was quite remarkable. We've never heard of anything quite like it."
The doctor approached the siblings with a clipboard in hand and glanced at Marika. "This won't take long, ma'am," he reassured her. "We just need to gather some information about the nature of your children's powers and how they could develop. After that, you three should go home and get some rest. I know it has been a stressful day for you."
Upon receiving a nod from Marika, indicating her trust in the doctor's expertise, the siblings prepared themselves for the upcoming testing of their unique abilities. The doctor explained the basic tests they would conduct to assess the manifestation and control of their powers. Miquella and Malenia listened attentively, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness building within them. They knew that these tests would provide valuable insights into their abilities, laying the foundation for understanding and honing their powers. The doctor then led them through the initial stages of the testing process.
Miquella was happy to find out that his quirk came unnaturally fast to him. While right now his light attacks weren't the most dangerous in the world, only able to slightly damage targets, he knew he would get there someday. Another thing he was able to test was Torrent, who due to being from his quirk, changed quite a bit in appearance. The stead's almost matted look from the game was replaced with silky white hair and he had a rather simple yet elegant saddle, and the most dramatic change was Torrent's horns, which now had what looked to be gold engraved into them. Ability-wise, Torrent was much the same, being able to double jump and go at insane speeds, reaching up to 65 MPH. Both quirks seemed to rely on stamina, with light attacks using more and Torrent practically using what felt like zero.
Finally, for the last part of his quirk, Miquella initially considered keeping it hidden. He decided against it, realizing it would be better to understand how this ability worked in this world before attempting to use it and potentially failing. He also felt it would be suspicious to use an unregistered ability at UA, especially since he didn't want anyone to think he was working with All for One. Miquella's charm ability grants him passive charisma, making people instinctively drawn to and trusting of him. He can also issue simple verbal commands that compel weaker-willed or less intelligent individuals to obey, though stronger-minded targets may resist. Miquella's most potent ability is his Close-Range Domination, which allows him to physically overpower someone's free will and force them to follow any instructions he gives them by holding them. The physical touch aspect of this ability makes it less likely for strong-willed or intelligent individuals to resist, although it still does not guarantee complete control. However, this quirk comes with significant drawbacks - the mind control abilities require concentration, and the more complex the command, the more stamina it takes.
Miquella was relieved to discover that, unlike the Malenia from the game, his sister's abilities did not directly harm her, aside from stamina drain like his. This was likely because her powers stemmed from her own body, rather than some angry outer god's spiteful "gift" as in the original lore. The doctors described Malenia's quirk as akin to "black mold on steroids." When they tested it on a dummy, the mold-like substance emerged from Malenia's skin, resembling delicate scarlet butterflies as it spread. It immediately latched onto its targets, taking on a vivid red hue. Analysis showed it caused those affected to experience shortness of breath and develop blotchy ulcers on their skin. However, there was an intriguing twist to Malenia's quirk. As the mold absorbed the life force and energy from those it engulfed, it transferred that stolen vitality to Malenia, replenishing her stamina and providing her with a form of healing.
Furthermore, Malenia had the extraordinary capability to enter a "Bloomed" phase, during which she would sprout wings crafted from scarlet-colored butterflies and mold. Fortunately, unlike the game's depiction, this metamorphosis did not inflict harm upon her or leave her naked. However, there was a price to pay as her stamina rapidly dwindled, and a ring of rot manifested on the ground beneath her, though it luckily didn't seem to spread any farther than where she stepped. In her Bloomed state, Malenia's senses became heightened, allowing her to better detect and track her targets. Additionally, her physical strength and reflexes were notably enhanced,
"Incredible, Ms.Marika," the doctor exclaimed, lifting his gaze from his rapid note-taking. "Your children possess truly remarkable quirks. Miquella's abilities display remarkable versatility — not only does he command light-based attacks and summon that extraordinary creature, but he also wields the power to issue commands to people. The range of applications is astounding.''Pausing momentarily, the doctor shifted his attention to Malenia. "And your daughter's quirk, though it may have a narrower focus, is certainly no less impressive."
The doctor, still reeling from the sheer complexity of their quirks, leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Well, now that we've explored your abilities, I'd like to know what you will call them. What are the names of your quirks?" Miquella was the first one to answer "Mine's called Golden Order I think it fits because it's all about light and stuff." Malenia, quieter but no less resolute, met the doctor's gaze with a steady look. "My quirk is called 'Scarlet Rot'" The doctor nodded, scribbling the names down in his notebook. After that, they were free to leave the hospital.
As they settled into the limo, Miquella seized the moment to pose a question to his mother. "Mom, can I join a dojo?" he asked, his eyes shining with excitement. Malenia, sitting beside him, nodded in agreement. "Yeah, Mom, I want to join too!"
Marika looked at her two children, a fond smile playing on her lips. She had known this day would come - from the moment Miquella and Malenia could speak, all they had dreamed of was becoming heroes. While a part of her wanted to shield them from the dangers of that path, she knew in her heart that she could not dissuade them.
"I see," Marika said, her voice calm and measured. "You both feel called to that life, don't you?" Malenia nodded adamantly, her eyes shining with determination. "Yes, Mother. We want to use our quirks to help people, to be like the heroes you work with."
Inwardly, Marika sighed, but she reached out to squeeze her children's hands. "Then I will ensure you both receive the best possible training. I want you to be as prepared as you can be, to face whatever challenges lie ahead."

Hello, I've been thinking about extending the plot because one of the things that feels a bit off to me about the MHA plot is how it all happens in under two years. I think extending the timeline would give me a better opportunity to change the plot, add more character moments, and allow for more natural character growth. What do you think? Let me know in the comments if you like this idea! I'm also later on going to fix the first chapter to fix any inconsistencies in the writing and I will let you all know what I end up changing.
