Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Finally reincarnated

Following Catherine's attempt to soothe her husband which failed poorly, Claude was unable to hold back his blood lust which leaked out creating a domain which projected an illusion of devils being burned whilst their wounds were restored. Going back and forth.

Ignoring Claude's change in aura, Defoe continued speaking to Catherine." Dear, you break my heart to a million pieces, comforting another man in my presence." Defoe spoke, which would have sounded romantic if not for his husky voice ruining it.

"Shut up, Mikaboshi." Catherine glared at Mikaboshi.

"How many years has it been since someone called me by that name? The way you say my name manages to pull at my heartstrings." Mikaboshi claimed while unaffected by Catherine's plan to faze him.

"Now to what do I owe this visit?" Mikaboshi questioned them.

"Knock it off Amatsu Mikaboshi. No, that name is too innocent to be used on someone like you, *CHAOS KING* Did you really think you could trap me for a long time, though a millennium has passed, here I am. Now hand over the fragment of Verity before things become messy," Claude said after managing to calm down. He added, " I know what you want but fortunately I came before it could happen."

"Lakshmi, it seems you're getting rusty. Your divinity of luck couldn't even tilt things in your favour. I no longer have the fragment, the seeds have been planted and my ultimate purpose of chaos will come to actualization." Mikaboshi told Lakshmi as if not afraid of the consequences.

"You idiot. Can't you see you are being used? You went to the extent of giving the fragment to an innocent soul without caring about what happens to him. How far are you willing to go? Do you really think that I won't hesitate to find him and destroy him before he grows," Lakshmi said while expecting to get a reaction from Mikaboshi.

"I care not if I am being used. My purpose is to let chaos be rampant. It is in my being, it is my purpose, it is my calling. As long as there's chaos there's a purpose for me," Mikaboshi spoke somberly, his whole aura emanating loneliness, with the others able to sense that loneliness.

After regaining his composure, he asked, "Are you really not bothered by what happens to these contestants?"

"If you came for the fragment you can leave since I no longer have it," Mikaboshi said in a cold voice, not bothering to answer.

"You forced my hand." After saying that he started making hand signals. His hand movement was so fast it seemed as if he moved his hand two times. But he made 102 hand signals with different signs. The hand signals came to life, some turned to strings, others to various types of animals.

"You forced my hand. If you had just pointed out the recipient of the fragment it wouldn't have come to this." Lakshmi tried to influence Mikaboshi with morality but Mokabishi was having none of that.

"I forced you? Did I show you a tutorial on how to perform destruction and marking signals? I am chaos. By sending messages to your apostle to hunt the contestants I feel very much alive. So if I forced you to do that I hope I can force you again by sending another fragment to a different enemy of your level." Mokabishi taunted Lakshmi, egging him.

Meanwhile, a white streak that looked like a meteor was speeding towards a blue planet. It sped rapidly and spun around many cities a few times as if looking for a suitable creature. After finding an adequate one it entered a three storey made of karat gold and found a 180 kg sized tiger cub with a measure of about 2.9m in length. The tiger cub had a whitish-black coat. Sporting black stripes, black and white coloured bellies with black spots on the ears. It was lying peacefully under a throne with its belly facing upward. The streak entered the tiger through its ears which caused it to jolt awake.

The streak blitzed to its soul, without allowing it to fight back. The eyes of the Tiger cub turned dull as if dead. The streak resided peacefully while leaving a portion of its soul as if not willing to offend the laws of the world by extinguishing a soul whose time is not yet up.

Vincent affectionately called by its owner opened its eyes while letting out a Roar.

*Roar* *Roar*

Vincent announced its presence to the world.

Vincent found himself in a lush forest filled with overgrown trees that towered on his shadows like a Behemoth tower.

*Roar*

Vincent's roared to announce his presence to the world. Though this was an instinctual reaction rather than natural. But his roar was interfered with by a *ding sound before he could proceed with any further action.

" Finally -" before he could continue.

Rawr.

An inhumane sound was heard followed by a shadow rushing at Vincent but it speed was too slow.

Vincent who saw this human roaring and having rotten flesh gathered his thoughts before being in disbelief.

"Roar."

A roar that made the zombie's Roar sound like a whimpering child was heard. This Roar was full of majesty and awe.

"Well, would you look at this," a gruff voice sounded from Vincent's lips as he leaped at the zombie before punching it in the head.

The zombie's head burst like a watermelon turning into mush with brain fluid splattering everywhere. Before it finally crushed onto the ground with no life.

A white light burst from the zombie rushing towards Caelan and entering his chest.

After receiving multiple notification Vincent looked at the Zombie's corpse which suddenly had items besides its corpse.

Vincent reached out to secure the items which was in the form of a book and one, in the form of a gauntlet.

The gauntlet was a pristine black looking like a normal glove were it not for the spikes at the knuckles.

Information pertaining to the items reflected in his retina.
