Chapter 7 - goblin village (part 3)

Pride: So you woke up, Ziad. I removed the protection from this boy on my ankle.

Ziad: I have always saved you in critical moments.

Pride: Hahaha, yes, you know who is stronger among us.

Goblin Leader: It seems you forgot that we are in the midst of battle.

The leader threw all his armor away and shouted at the top of his voice: "Awakening the Pure Gold Beast!"

Pride: I must eliminate him before he executes his skill quickly. I have no idea what its features are.

Ahmed: Come on, Ziad, let's go take down the deputy...

Ahmed ran quickly toward the deputy leader and gathered the aura around his sword. The monster tried to hit him, but Ahmed dodged the strike and attempted to cut the deputy, but with no success.

Ziad: You gave me enough time! "Blood Whips," "Blood Manipulation."

The deputy leader completely ignored Ahmed and lunged at Ziad instead, at the same time as Fakhur.

Pride: Should I unleash all my power in this strike? It will be a lucky shot; either I succeed or doom my companions to death.

Pride gathered all the ice present on the battlefield around his sword, and the ice began to harden around it like diamond.

Pride: Come on, Ice Dragon, help me!!

Pride struck the Goblin Leader with all his might, slicing him in half.

Pride: I did it!!

Ziad: I will direct all the blood whips around his neck. This should be enough to sever it; he is weaker than the leader.

Ziad gathered all his whips, and when the deputy leader struck, he defended against the sword with blood manipulation, wrapping the whips around his neck, and as he squeezed, the deputy let out a deafening scream, and his head separated from his body.

Pride: Oh, Ziad has grown stronger.

Ziad: May mercy spare me, boy, I nearly died several times today, and we lost Khaled and Yahya.

Ahmed: I can't believe it; we won! We won!!

Ziad: Go wake Adel, Badr, and Osama from their shock.

Pride: Despite their weakness, you have promising people.

Ziad: Unfortunately for them, this was their first raid.

While Ahmed was trying to awaken everyone, the goblin corpses began to tremble, and black smoke erupted from their severed parts.

Ahmed: What's happening?

Pride: Ziad, get ready!!

Ziad: Wait, wait, are you joking? We have no strength left!

A large mountain emerged from the black smoke, and a spear pierced Fakhur's abdomen, lifting him high into the air, impaled by the spear.

Goblin Leader: How foolish of you, you let your guard down and thought you had won. Hahahaha!

The Goblin Leader continued: The pure gold beast, when I receive a deadly blow, gives me a 50% chance to come back to life and revive all my followers. As I said, you humans are naïve, and your fate is inevitable death.

Ziad: Uh...

Suddenly, the deputy leaped from behind, aiming his sword at Ziad.

Ziad: I can't help Fakhur; I must defend against the deputy!!

Ziad clashed with the deputy again, while the Goblin Leader looked on, a wicked smile on his face.

Ahmed: I must do something. Adel, Osama, Badr, wake up.

There was no response...

Ahmed: Guys, why are you here now? Are you here to kneel and await death? Where did your courage go? Where did your bravado go? Where are the sacrifices of our comrades? I know it's scary. I can't move with my will; my body is exhausted, I'm worn out. I can easily surrender and die here, but why? Why are Osama and Fakhur fighting despite it being a losing battle? Because we are human, and that is our nature. We will not surrender, no matter the circumstances, no matter how afraid we are. They are monsters who have killed hundreds of people, hundreds of children. Wake up! It's okay to be afraid, but don't give up. Please, friends, let's fight...

Suddenly, Ahmed felt hands touching his shoulder; it was Osama and Badr...

Osama: We're sorry, Ahmed. You're right, if our fate is death, why do we stand idly by? Fear took control of us; thank you for waking us up...

Badr: Ahh, how I loved this life. I hope my death is painless.

Ahmed: Quickly, we don't have time; we must save this person hanging on the Goblin Leader's spear. He is the strongest one here. You are the only ones with dragon energy left.

Badr: You said Goblin Leader?????

Ahmed: There is much to explain, but let's save that for later.

Osama: It doesn't matter whether he is the leader or the king of beasts; it's the same.

Osama and Badr ran quickly toward the leader, and Ahmed turned to see Adel still unmoving, then turned back to see Ziad still fighting the deputy leader, sparks flying from their swords everywhere.

Osama: Badr, I am the only armored one here; I will try to gather all the dragon energy in my body to withstand one blow. Now it's your turn, Badr.

Badr: No need to finish; I understand the task.

Osama stood before the leader, gathering all his golden aura in his body, pushing his body to its limits.

Goblin Leader: Get away from my face, you garbage...

The leader kicked him, and with the force of the kick, Osama's eyes went white, and he began to vomit blood. During that blow, Badr rushed in quickly with his black blade and sliced the spear connected to General pride.

Badr: I must carry Osama and run; he has lost consciousness from the blow.

As Badr turned, he saw the hand of the Goblin Leader heading toward him at a crazy speed. The Goblin King slapped him away and continued to stomp on Osama.

Ahmed: My time has come now!!

Ahmed came running from behind, jumped high, and stabbed the Goblin Leader in the neck. Unfortunately, the leader was not affected and grabbed Ahmed by the back of his neck with his sword, throwing him down to the ground with all his strength.

Goblin Leader: You are the weakest, and you are the reason for all this. I must kill you before anything else happens.

The leader went to Pride and lifted him in the air, pulling the sharp end of the spear from his belly and calmly returning to Ahmed.

Goblin Leader: Look at yourself, you fell to the ground, with a confident face. Say goodbye.

Ahmed: I will...

The leader struck with all his might, the spear aimed at Ahmed's chest.

Ahmed, with his eyes closed: What is this? I'm not dead yet, and why do I feel a liquid on my face? Is this the feeling of death?

Ahmed opened his eyes, tears streaming rapidly from what he saw, and he cried hard until Ziad turned and saw Adel standing before Ahmed, having cut the spear.

Ahmed: Brother! Brother! No, not you, not you! Why did you jump? I am the one who was defeated! Brother, no... no...

Adel: Ahmed, please, run away! We are not heroes here. Don't worry, save yourself, and promise me when you become stronger.

Goblin Leader: Spare me all that drama, I'll pull the spear out and let Adel drop on Ahmed's body...

Ahmed: I want to kill the monsters; I will do anything! I want any power. Please, I want to kill them! Anything, any strength, any luck I will accept. I will do anything! Ahmed began to scream hysterically.

Goblin Leader: It seems he has lost his mind.

Pride: I must maintain whatever remains of dragon energy over my wounds. If I lose my focus, I will die in an instant.

Ahmed and Adel on his chest, the aura began to surround him from all sides, and the tattoo started to coil around his arm as he lost consciousness.

Prid: What is this aura? I have never witnessed anything like it; even when the king unleashed 92% of his dragon energy, it was not as powerful as this aura.

Ziad: What's happening? Disasters keep piling up one after another. What have I done in my life to deserve all this?

While Ziad fought the Deputy Leader, a dark blue light swiftly crossed between Ziad and sliced the deputy in half.

Ziad: What just happened? I didn't even glimpse it with my eyes!!

The leader looked in disbelief and suddenly sensed death, looking down at his feet to see Ahmed standing before him. With the power of his aura, Ahmed's hair began to blow in the wind, and his eyes filled with deep black – a soulless puppet.

Goblin Leader: Ha, a tattoo! It can't be the one from that legend!

Ahmed raised his sword in the air and sliced off the leader's arm in one swift motion. As his hand dropped, the aura severed the other hand.

Goblin Leader: I can't regenerate my arm. What is this aura? What is this? Is it the same person? It can't be!

Ahmed did not stop there; he made another horizontal slash, severing the leader's legs. Ziad rushed toward Ahmed and touched him from behind.

Ziad: Well done, you've taken them all out, now calm down!

Ahmed turned to Ziad, who was losing consciousness, and said: Don't interfere in what doesn't concern you, and struck Ziad. The force sent him crashing into a rock, shattering the stone with him inside.

Pride: Who is this person? I dare not look him in the eye.

Ahmed began to walk slowly toward the leader, having severed all his limbs, the leader lying on his stomach, looking at Ahmed from below.

Ahmed stood before his head: Who is the pitiful one among us? He grabbed the leader's head and lifted it high, plunging it back into the ground.

Ahmed continued: Do you think this is enough?

He stomped on the leader's head, pushing it deeper and deeper, while Fakhur looked on, speechless. Ahmed lifted the leader's head, his teeth shattered from the blows and stomps.

Ahmed: No, this is not enough. Death will be a relief for you; even skinning you alive won't be sufficient.

Ahmed grabbed the leader and lifted him high into the air, then jumped into the air, twisting and kicking the leader back toward the ground.

Leader: Enough humiliation for the monsters; kill me!

Ahmed quietly stabbed the sword deep into his shoulder.

Ahmed: Who allowed you to speak? And with a powerful kick, Ahmed shattered the leader's neck.

Ahmed continued to scream: This is not enough, this is not enough, as he stabbed the sword repeatedly into the leader's back.

He kept at it for hours until he no longer recognized the leader's form due to the numerous stabs.

Then, while continuing to stab the leader, the aura began to fade and leak away from him, his hair returning to normal, and he fainted.

To be continued...
