"Y--y-y-yikes~ ! it's so f-f-ucking.. COLD !" Hisashi jolts his head left and right, blinking several times to confirm this was all real. "Where am I ? I was sleeping in my bed and then all of a sudden I… appeared here ? In the snowy wilderness? Does Japan even have any place like that ??!?" Then he stops. A smile creeps across his face.
"Wait, wait a second… is this.. what I think it is ? HAVE I BEEN SUMMONED TO ANOTHER WORLD !?!?" Hisashi could not hold in his joy. "D-DO I HAVE SPECIAL POWERS? I'VE GOT TO BE THE HERO HERE, R-RIGHT ?" he shoots out his hand as if to unleash some sort of hidden ability.
When nothing happens, he sighs in defeat. "Nothing yet huh.. I'll awaken my powers soon… then become the hero, defeat the evil army…. Hahaha ! I'll be
the greatest person in the world !"
Then he snaps back to reality. "B-b-but first… I gotta find someplace warm..!"
He jogs off in a random direction.
"Goddammit… damn it all… It's hopeless. I'll freeze to death and die…" Hisashi slumps down in defeat, and sits down on a tree stump. I guess I'll die… Hisashi thinks… "are you going to lose hope THAT quickly ??" Hisashi looks up. A
red haired, ponytailed young woman, with fierce golden eyes, and light skin comes into view. She wore light bluish-white armor, adorned with a snowflake emblem. A sword with a blade as clear as ice, that had a reflective sheen to it. Was seemingly magically attached to her side.
It was also devoid of any hilt either. She crosses her arms. "Well… are you just going to stand there, or answer me ?". Hisashi was caught, captivated in her beauty. She sighs in frustration and annoyance, then walks up to him and slaps him hard on the face. Hisashi could feel the cold, unforgiving impact of her metallic gauntlets.
"Agh! W-w-what was THAT for ?" "Well, you weren't responding to anything I said for a while… what happened, did the cold seep into your brain ?" Hisashi bows his head in a mix of fear, social awkwardness, and not knowing what to do.
"Uh… t-thanks for helping me out there… I don't know what I would've done if you haven't saved me… My name's Sano Hisashi, but, you can call me Hisashi.."
"Alright then… Hisashi. You're not from around here, huh ?" Hisashi shakes his head.
"Uh-huh.. gotcha.. Well, I was on my way back home.. Leaving someone like you out here to die in the cold would just reflect badly on me. So haul ass and follow along. " Then she mutters to herself- "to think I have to deal with this on the first day of my time off…"
Although he heard her say that, he decided not to stir any trouble. After an hour of walking, a forest comes into view, visible in even the thick snowy fog. The girl smiles a bit. "There it is… Tacetlere Village.. I'm home.."
"Hey, come on, don't just stand there, let's go ! Hisashi !" They then run off into the village. The moment they cross the cobblestone threshold of the village gate, which was a simplistic one, made from three logs, the atmosphere instantly changed. From a cold, and harsh unforgiving snowy environment, to a gentle, warm windy one.. The crop fields which stretched out for a while were all perfectly visible. The sky was a beautiful tinge of orange and yellow, like it was sunset.
Hisashi gasps in awe. "W-what ? It was like, super chilly just a second ago ! What happened ?" The girl smiles.
"First time seeing this ? It's a special type of magic. Burnea and Lumoise. I was kind of surprised too when I saw it first, years ago !" Hisashi grinned with exictement. "Magic ? you think, think I have some sort of cool abilities ?"
The girl shrugs. "Who's to say ? Only you can find it out." Hisashi slumps in defeat and disappointment. "By the way… I don't think I ever got your name.."
"Oh, right.. I am Abbadiese. Abbadiese Rubrum. It was nice to get to know you ! Also, I'm sorry I was so hard on you back there… you would have literally died.."
Hisashi says nothing. But just nodded contently.
