"Bles-" I am cut off by a blow that feels as if it tears a hole right through me. A cheap but effective blow for someone who was on the verge of defeat a second ago. I look upon what my adversary has become, a stone statue it looks like, but with the flexibility of a nimble fox.
"Impressive," I mutter to myself, as I can feel my feet leave the ground. I feel myself rising as I realise I am being lifted by him.
"What a useless sack of shit you were." He pulls me close to the head of the statue as the cobble that makes his face shifts to reveal his fleshy face to observe me. This is my chance, I can still feel my hand is gripped on tightly to my sword. My sword can't pierce his rocky armour, so this may be my only chance to end him. In one quick motion, I plunge my sword into his head. As soon as my blade had made contact with the skin, I am tossed aside like trash to the ground.
"FUCK! HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU ALIVE!" He bellows at me as stone begins to reform around his face and holding the blade in place. However when I landed I felt something where the first blow landed on me when I hit the ground. Or so a lack of feeling. I look down to my chest. There is barely any of my chest left, all that remains is a hole that goes straight through me.
There is a distinct lack of feeling from the blow, despite the hole going through me, I can still feel my body as if it is in perfect shape. I can feel the pain from the blow but it seems so insignificant to me that it can be ignored. Is this what death's embrace feels like, but I see no angels to drag me of to heaven though.
"I must be god's chosen warrior." I mutter to myself.
"Huh, I'm just gonna..." His voice interrupts my revelation and alerts me to him. He is approaching me and preparing to crush me under his palm. Such a simplistic attack leaves him open to a counter. All I must do is dodge to the side then climb up his arm to hi head where my blade waits to be plunged deeper into his head.
"God is on my side." I dive our of the way of the crush. The hole does not seem to slow me. "As such, I have my divine duty to those above." I begin to climb his rocky arms. "I am the one who shall purge the sin of this world." I grip onto my blade in a tight grip. "Creatures like you should not exist." I plunge the blade deep into the golems skull. At first, it feels as if I am just sharpening a blade on metal, but just before my hilt meets the metal, the tip of my blade meets flesh.
There is silence for a moment. I draw my blade from the stone as it begins to crumble and give way to my sword. I drop to the ground as the stone that surrounded my opponent collapses and returns back from where it came from. His body is left on the floor with a cut to his right cheek, it is motionless. I approach the body and place my blade on his chest. I begin to plunge my blade into it to ensure his defeat. But before my blade could pierce his heart...
"His body... disappeared."
