Chapter 6 - The Patriarch's Role

"Assuming this 'experience' consists of the memory from stimuli and information stored in the brain, a kit can technically grow to be you in an instant if you imparted all of your experiences to them," Nagan said in a joking manner.

Owen gave a nod of acknowledgment, with both of her arms crossed and her chest puffed forward. "Fufu. As expected of my dear husband, you learn fast~!

"That example, however, can only work with a strong kit that came from the fusion of a 'seed' and 'egg' of strong bloodline and trait." Whirring in space, Owen took out a gadget out of a spatial depository. "Take this, and install the scanner in your body."

It was a slim gadget with a near translucent material trimmed in golden edges. Its form reminded Nagan of a smart tablet. As soon as the gadget was handed to Nagan, a holographic form popped up.

[Commence with the integration?]

[Yes | No]

The choice was pressed with a motion of a finger. A sudden shriek of electrical dissonance was blasted on Nagan's face along with thousands if not millions of accurately pin-pointed light that was hitting every piece of molecules that makes up the entirety of Nagan's physical body.

[Integration have been conducted]

[Showing the result of the first-time appraisal]

[Name: Nagan Ingram

[Race Type: Sapient

[Biological Age: 26

[Height: 172cm

[Weight: 62kg

[Earth Intelligence Quotient: 1.6

[Earth Strength Quotient: 0.05

[Earth Dexterity Quotient: 0.09

[Seed Quality Quotient: 1.0

[Primary Genetic Lineage Trait: {Humanity} {Human Sapient Body} {Primal Wrath} {Self-Repairing Bio-Nanites}]

The data was laid in front of Nagan's eyes. For once, he was relieved to see that the machine couldn't tell his real age. His relief was immediately startled afterward after looking at the screen for a second time.

"A {Self-Reparing-} what!?"

"Every Patriarch needs to possess that genetic trait," Owen answered, "It comes in a package turning a princess into a queen~!"

Nagan wanted to jokingly say 'I see, so it is some kind of genetic altering STD' but he refrained from saying so.

"... My Queen, I might need some assistance to understand these values, just to prevent any misunderstanding." Nagan wryly smiled, pointing on the [Earth Strength Quotient] part on the screen. "This low number doesn't spark joy."

"The value of one represents the average representation for that subject," Owen answered with a close-eyed smile.

"Wait, so this means…"

"As what is written there. It means that your strength is equal to the five percent average of the entire living being on Earth. This includes the Blue Whale, who can produce a maximum force of 62,000 newton~!"

"And I shall assume for the animal that takes the crown for the dexterity quotient to be either the cheetah or the peregrine falcon…"

It seemed like the road to become the Earth's strongest, was still too far out of reach-

"Nobody said about wanting to become the world's strongest!" Nagan exclaimed in the wind. "Aside from that, can I check upon the traits within the [Genetic Lineage] section? I pressed it multiple times, and nothing happened…"

For once, Owen placed a nervous smile on her face. "Well, it seems like the current model language is incapable of performing a summarizing overview for the primary genetic traits."

Seemed like even Owen herself didn't really understand the inner mechanism of the technology of her race.

"Mm, can it be upgraded in the future?" Nagan asked.

"It's possible."

"Huh, neat."

Nagan was extremely curious about the {Primal Wrath} trait that he possessed. It's certainly not something that he possessed or acknowledged in his time fighting for humanity as one of the Deosah.

It might also be the answer to the ever-boiling red carnage that he vividly experienced drunkenly when the invader arrived at his gate, murdering the three pair of his treasured bunny, imparting their impurity, soiling the perfect haven of mortal stupor that was bestowed upon him, scalded and mended perpetually in vile and violent sin of red–

"My dear, are you okay?" Owen's face of concern was something that Nagan wasn't expected to see.

That was, if his eyes weren't so engulfed in spiraling red.

It merely took a self-confirmation on where he was now, what he should do, and what he needed to do from now on, to go back to his normal mental state. "Ah, I'm merely feeling motivated! Can you repeat that again? I feel like I'm missing some comprehension."

"Anything for you, my dear~!" Owen gestured her wand, replaying the presentation in the hologram cubicle for Nagan and everyone to see. "Your role as the Patriarch is not only to shoulder the entire Kingdom and manage it alongside the queen, but you also need to gain more strength and positive qualities to be shared amongst your offspring, who will be the veins and lifeline of the Kingdom's survival and prosperity~!"

Symbols of death and drugs appeared on the holographic presentation, amongst the image of alien-looking life-forms.

"There are many ways to become stronger and attain these positive traits," Owen continued, "We can try to invest in bio-experimental technologies and research xenogenetic technology and harvest foreign lifeform of their genome to imbue your germline, to concoct a 'potion' to morph and evolve the Patriarch's physique, and maybe get you some new self-growing biomechanical organs that can affect your own genome~!"

The holographic screens shifted, showing a humanoid silhouette lifting some weights, meditating, posing, eating, and punching a giant monster.

"The Patriarch can also try to traditionally enhance their combat and proportional capabilities through humane means. By simply taking proper diet and meddling with the Kingdom's internal affairs and problems, the Patriarch can increase his intelligence quotient.

"And by practicing martial art, meditating, and training, alongside some potential doping and mutagen intake, might allow the Patriarch to steadily increase his strength and dexterity quotient and gain some positive inheritable trait for our offsprings~"

The holographic show on the air spun its wheel once again, landing on the set of presentation where numerous illustrations of unknown biomes, treasure chests, and mystique relics were shown in vividly colorful display.

"And lastly, we can perform a Wayward World Search to find either a random or filtered world of our choosing and explore those worlds for their bountiful loots and precious materials~ Just like how the Usalian's technology is far different than that of human, we might find those kind of exotic power hidden beneath, or by the arms of those world's native dweller. We might also stumble upon a new type of psychic flag, or in a better words, magic, that we can impart into our kingdom's culture.

"Speaking of that, we should try to perform a Wayward World Search, now that the Earth is currently preoccupied by hundreds if not thousands of different invaders, influenced by the 'event'. It's also a great opportunity to introduce you to something that we will use a lot in the future."

Owen gestured Nagan and the rest of the usalian to follow her, to the grassy hill right behind the makeshift building meant for the seeding chamber, where a circular structure was hidden from Nagan's eyes.

Nagan longingly gazed at the mystique structure of wonder. "Unlike those buildings that are in construction, the material that encompasses this gate feels otherworldly. I assume that you brought this here from your homeland, my Queen."

"Mmmhmm~ Feel free to refer to me as Owen, by the way."

"Then I shall do so." Nagan tensely chuckled.

"No need to be stiff." Owen playfully slapped Nagan's back, before leaning in closely to his ear. "You can do that later in bed~"

Nagan had no comment regarding that.

Whirring of space could be heard once again.

"Though, I'm surprised that you didn't hold any concern for what is happening on Earth, your own home-planet."

Nagan sighed as he scratched the back of his neck. "Humanity isn't that weak. What am I? Their mom?"

"Good, we will have the opportunity for Earth later. But that is certainly not now~"

Owen morphed her wand to wrap his wrist and finger, with every end shooting out a concentrated beam of purple light into a single unified point right in front of her palm.

The concentration formed a ball which soon crystallized in texture. As the purple beams kept on feeding the crystal ball, it grew and grew, until it reached twice the size of Owen's palm.

She then stopped the energizing process, rewinding her wand as she casually grabbed the 'crystal' with her other hand, reaching it out for Nagan to take.

"Hold it, and imagine the kind of world that is safe for our children to frolic around, gathering abundant food and woods from a gentle mother nature."

"I shall assume that you also want some source of resources to build this kingdom forward."

"Inquisitive, I like it."
