Chapter 32 - Translating The White Noise

"I assume that you're going to create a psycast spell that will create a soul link where both ends of the user can understand the other's conveyed message." Owen smiled as she glanced at the now-timid white haired mouse girl. "Or maybe to be precise, for us to translate their language."

"It's still too complex for me to do without my Primal Wrath." Nagan then walked closer to the wall of soil and minerals, facing it at breath length. "I'm counting on you to protect them."

Owen gave an OK-handsign.

With Nagan's tight grip on his consciousness, he once again began to draw the enmity inside every corner of his fireside corner of his heart. Like usual, this process couldn't be described in any scientific way possible, as it contort and influence the reality way more than psycasting.

The mouse folks who gathered to see what was happening started to see how it might be a bad idea to follow their leader and these two guests into this far corner of the tunnel. The reality surrounding the masked man was consumed by crimson ink and violent hue, striking primal fear onto anything that perceives it.

Yet at the same time, these mouse folks are too curious to run away or to seek any shelter. Meanwhile, the white haired mouse girl was sweating nervously like there was no tomorrow, hoping that she didn't actually just invite a devil into their colony by accident.

As Nagan accumulated enough enmity to start a bridge to his psycast field, he turned around his head to take a better look on one of the mouse's soul and body. Coincidentally, that very mouse he appraised was none other than the white haired mouse girl, who was currently shaking in fear, trying her best to not pass out.

Nagan didn't even realize that he appeared to other people as an ominous black flaming shadow covered in red hue on the outline as his eyes stretched a furious waving trail of red.

"I see."

Using his buffed psycast field, he constructed a metaphysical device that converts the thoughts of a sentient individual into an information that could easily be decoded using the English dictionary as point of reference.

It was similar to the concept of animal translator that humans painstakingly worked on for decades. Albeit this time, the metaphysical device didn't use the brain as an input, as trying to understand the brain mechanism of a mouse person from another world would be near impossible. Because as far as Nagan knew, humans could only understand 80% of the inner workings of their brain near the end of the age of apocalypse in the first timeline.

So trying to turn those debilitating white noise would be more apt than trying to solve the universe's biggest mystery.

"He might look scary, but he is actually kind hearted unless you get on his bad side~" Owen said as she glanced at the terrified mouse.

The white haired mouse girl didn't deem that information to be assuring at the slightest.

Two minutes had passed since Nagan started to design the mouse people translator. And throughout this whole time, the white haired mouse girl was still freezing in terror.

And then just like that, Nagan had successfully created a tool capable of converting the fermentation white noise by directly meddling with reality through conceptual manipulation. In which, Nagan himself didn't really know how they work as he brute forced the entire creation of the translator using the {Primal Wrath}.

This metaphysical tool would be stored in two ways. The entire process was already stored within Nagan's psycast field where it could be cast as a spell. It could also be placed on any soul link connection that Nagan wanted to establish in the future.

"Alright, it's done."

Of course, all of these volatile byproducts of activating the {Primal Wrath} needed to be redirected somewhere. And that's what the end of the tunnel would be used for.

Concentrating the enmity energy to be as small as possible, Nagan unleashed the pent up heat of mortal anguish and hatred toward the wall of soil and minerals. The blast of the destructive beam produced enough shockwave to make everyone within the tunnel feel as if they were on a rapidly descending roller coaster.

As the oppressive wind and dust settled, it revealed a straight and enormous tunnel with no visible end in sight. The sheer gigantism of the newly-made section of the underground network made all of the mouse folks feel even smaller than they already are.

White they were stunned in awe, Nagan established a temporary soul link to the white haired mouse girl.

"Big, scary, demonic, red, enormous, unfathomable, hungry-"

Nagan then saw one of the mouse folk that was unfazed by all of this. He then attached the same translator-attached soul link toward the mouse.

"Hungry, cold? Wondering, funny, inexplicable-'

"So, how is it?" Owen said within the soul link.

"Somewhat," Nagan followed with a wry laugh.

It took quite a while to convince the white haired mouse girl that Nagan won't be eating him like some sort of man-eating demon. Everyone then returned to the main space of the colony, with both Nagan and Owen having a better preparation to finally converse with the mouse-kin.

"Introduction, commenced," The white haired mouse girl sat in a seiza position, with both of her two guests following suit. "Myself, possession, name, Kurisunetamayo, leader, priest, guide, everyone, newfound, shelter, colony." She then gestured her open hand forward like before. "Mouse, race, kin, Nezura! Appreciation, respect, encounter, strangers, above."

"The race of Nezura, I see." Nagan pondered. "Uhm, I apologize, what's your name again?"

The leader of the Nezura nodded her head enthusiastically. It seemed like she no longer feared Nagan like an all-consuming monster. "Ku-"

"Ku?"

"Ri-"

"Ri?"

"Su-"

"Su?"

"Ne-"

"Ne?"

"Ta, Ma, Yo." The leader of the Nezura headbanged in confirmation. "Kurisunetamayo!"
