"Now that it's confirmed that all of you are good kids." As Santa Owen opened a mysterious giant red sack, the contents of the bag were scattered around in the form of a mischievous prismic 'fairies', filling the air with colors as the trailing starlight particles showered the end of the new eve magical awe. "Each of you will be given a present!"
The prismic glass-like fairy playfully wandered its new surroundings, before they ended up on a stop in front of their respective chosen usalian, in which they freeze in motion as a gentle whirring of space encapsulates them with galaxy-ridden light. The breathtaking waiting would soon be rewarded as every ball of light transformed into a wrapped gift box of xmas joy.
"HEEEELLLL YEAAAAAAAAAAH!!! A NEW SHOVEEEEEEEL!!"
"I got a complete sewing kit!"
"A stainless butterfly knife, neat. I always want this."
"They know! Santa knows!"
"I didn't expect that I've been wanting a strap-able metal canteen all this time."
"Hey, Fearnleaf, what did you get?"
"A SPATULA!"
Every one of the usalian showcased at least a great amount of surprise and jubilation, it was as if Owen was truly the Santa for them.
Jingo got herself an expensive set of airsoft rifles alongside five bags of plastic pellets for her enjoyment. Karasaki got herself an authentic Japanese katana made from a traditional blacksmith family that might cost quite the amount of fortune to procure. Meanwhile, Hopscotch could be seen slightly smiling in front of her new pocket watch.
"Really, a katana?"
"Heh, you will never understand the inner beauty behind this delicate craftsmanship~"
Immortal Dragon Overlord got herself an eastern black and gold xianxia robe set, reminiscent of those of the eastern fantasy fiction. Clover acquired a waterproof traveling backpack, which was apparently meant for her to store all of her food. Mako was given a chainsaw with a considerable amount of high-quality fuels and lubricant supply to significantly improve the lifespan of the machine.
"AHAHAHA! I SHALL PLUNDER THOSE WOODS LIKE GRASS!"
"That's not how chainsaw works, you know."
Hoppington got a diary book made from an exquisite leather cover alongside a box of writing supply. As for the soundless-stepping Pippin, she got an expensive binocular that could easily cost a grand in human society. Willow got the same present as Mako, a chainsaw and a supply of fuel and lubricant.
"Our 'Zuu Shaa' have evolved." Mako revved up her chainsaw with vigor. "Now it's 'BRRRRNG TENG TENG TENG'!"
""BRRRNG TENG TENG TENG!""
Amongst the loud crowd, there was one usalian who had already used her gift without making much movement and sound. It was Bluebell, who got an eye mask, noise-canceling headphones, and a sleeping bag.
"She is sleeping."
"She is dead asleep."
"She drooled like usual."
For honorable mention within the logistic team. Charles Hammington the First was given a tea making set with an array ingredient included, Juani got a sculpting kit, and Droste got an anvil.
"Wait… is that who I think it is?"
"THERE IS ANOTHER SANTA!"
Walking into the erratically energetic scene, was Nagan wearing the same Santa suit as Owen with fake beard and mustache. On his hand was a box full of pendants that he crafted in the workshop.
"SANTA IS REAAAL!"
"We will get double the present!"
"You all know that this Santa is just our Patriarch in a Santa suit, right?" Hopscotch commented.
Charles then approached the tall usalian and tapped her on the shoulder. "Hush, don't break their dreams."
As Nagan hunched down to distribute his version of present, the usalian crowded him like a bunch of carps the moment a kernel was thrown on the pond.
Every usalian was given their respective pendant with their matching team. For example, Karasaki got swords carved on her pendant, Jingo got a shooting target symbol, Immortal Dragon Overlord with a dragon symbol, and Hoppington with her symbol of sunset.
"I'm surprised that you got a tree symbol despite being a cracked lumberjack."
"A hammer, nice."
"Hey, Fernleaf, what's yours?"
"Spatula and ladle! What's yours?"
"A secret."
With the addition of their own personal pendant, the size of their smiles and the sparkles in their eyes became even brighter than starry night.
"It's time to feast!"
"Dashing through the grass~ a wagon as a sleight~"
"Jingo's bell, Jingo's bell, Jingo all the way~"
"That's not how the lyric goes."
"Fuaah~! There's nothing better than hammering your throat with the sweet taste of figwalker's blood."
"You make it sound gorier than it should."
Eating contests commenced, as some of the usalian socialize to one another by sharing their fair of experience with a certain someone within their friend group. Some of them could be seen dancing a ritualistic dance despite the moves and theme not having any correlation with the holiday whatsoever. Meanwhile, Bluebell was sleeping peacefully throughout all of this.
Watching on the side from the festive crowd, were two Santas who were glad to have the time and plan to make this one special day the way it was. Something that either of them didn't really expect to even do within their respective share of life experience.
"Uhm."
It was probably the first time, but the sight of Owen nervously fiddling with her finger was something that Nagan wouldn't expect to see.
"You know, my dear," Owen uttered in a tense manner. "I just noticed that I didn't really get your consent to do the 'deed' with me, in which I've found that some humans can be a little bit sensitive when it comes to that case…"
"What are you talking about?" Nagan said playfully. "You already got my consent the moment you appeared in front of me and proposed on the spot." He lightheartedly chuckled. "Besides, waiting until I woke up seven days later to do the 'deed' might make things even more awkward, and I can see the time and prudence to do the most sensible course of action is important for the usalian. Or at least, if what I see from them is inherited from you is true."
"Mmm~ And here I thought I'm the one who's overthinking."
Aside from gifts, Owen also brought certain festival items into the Unnamed Kingdom. And as of now, the usalians were setting them up.
It was fireworks.
"Make a way, folks!"
"You said it as if the firework is going for a walk on the ground."
In the velvet expanse of the night sky, the whistle of the ascending fire vessel began to ensnare every usalians attention within the kingdom. As the escalating song of the fuel started to whisper into a halt, an ephemeral blossoms of brilliance unfurl with a thunderous bang, painting incandescent petals across the cosmic canvas.
Gazes of reverence were displayed, like a child seeing something outside of their everyday world of understanding. After the first firework set the tone, the second heightened the goosebumps as the colorful sky-painting overlapped.
And the next thing they know, symphony of colors and rapid explosion began to fill every corner of this private realm of theirs.
