Chapter 178 - Chapter 177: Battle Outside X-Mansion

Eyeing Magneto, who was probably the most dangerous one here right now, not only because of how quickly he can cause massive amounts of destruction but also because he can now control the iron inside someone's body, essentially making everyone except me useless in a battle against him.

"Yeah, it's me, what about it?" Asked Pharaoh with a slight frown as he glared at Magneto while ensuring the other three were still accounted for.

"You're no mutant." Remarked Apocalypse with a raised eyebrow as he observed Tut, who scoffed while nodding.

"Duh, anyone who had been paying attention for the past couple of days could've figured that out." Said Tut as he glanced at Apocalypse, trying to look through his body, but the weird armor was blocking his vision, causing him to click his tongue in annoyance.

"Pharaoh, I consider you a friend, so I'll only warn you once, but do not speak so disrespectfully to him." Stated Storm with a deep frown as she folded her arms and glared at Tut, her words angering Gambit.

"Tch, what's going on with you, Storm? How come you're now following this blue fool, huh? Is just a little bit of power enough to entice you?" Questioned Gambit angrily as he tightly held his bo-staff while eyeing Storm, his disregard for Apocalypse igniting fury in both her, Magneto, and Pietro.

Seeing both Storm and Magneto aggressively raise their arms as if they were about to fight, I frowned before quickly outstretched my hand, stopping Pietro from punching Gambit and causing him to glare at me. Squeezing his hand, I tossed Pietro back towards the three before quickly holding onto Gambit as I heard his blood making unnatural sounds, which proved to be the correct move as I noticed Magneto's expression worsen.

"Enough. Restrain yourselves." Declared Apocalypse as he slightly raised one hand, causing Pietro, Magneto, and Storm to bow before standing beside each other while constantly glaring at the three.

"So, you're the one in charge; huh, that's good to know." Remarked  Wolverine with a frown as his six adamantium claws emerged from in between his knuckles while they glistened in the sunlight.

"Not yet, you fool; we're still trying to buy time for everyone else to hide the students." Whispered Tut as he glanced at Wolverine with a slight frown, causing him to huff in annoyance, though nonetheless, he stayed still and didn't make any aggressive movements.

"Tell me, who is the one in possession of the power known as the Phoenix Force? I've come here for them." Questioned Apocalypse as he glanced at three, who all furrowed their brows in confusion.

"Phoenix Force, what the hell you talking about, bub?" Remarked Wolverine as he eyed Apocalypse while the three standing behind him looked like they couldn't wait to kill him.

'Phoenix Force? Wait, is he referring to Jean? That would make sense, considering it literally happened yesterday; the timing would be correct.' Thought Tut with a deep frown, his gaze hardening as he eyed Apocalypse.

I didn't know if my guess was correct or not, but I believed I was right, and if I was, that meant they, or Apocalypse, were after Jean; now I had no idea why he wanted the Phoenix Force, but I had a feeling it wouldn't end well for Jean.

"Dawg, we don't know what the Phoenix Force is; mind telling us what it is? You know, to better help you find it?" Asked Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he gazed at Apocalypse, really using this chance to stall them, buying time for the other X-Men to hide the students.

"The Phoenix Force is a power that governs life, destruction, and rebirth, and its power is immense. Now, hand over the host of the Phoenix Force." Remarked Apocalypse with an expression of awe as he looked towards the sky, only to gaze back at Pharaoh, his voice becoming more commanding and aggressive.

"Um, yeah, sorry to burst your bubble, but the host of the Phoenix Force or whatever isn't here." Said Gambit as he folded his arms and shook his head, though his words only caused Apocalypse to frown.

"I see; it seems I've been absent from this world for far too long if even the weak dare to lie to me; everyone seems to have forgotten who their rightful God is." Stated Apocalypse with a frown as he glanced at Wolverine and Gambit, viewing them as nothing but weak and insignificant insects.

"This probably isn't good." Muttered Wolverine with a feral snarl as he lowered his stance while squinting his eyes as Apocalypse, who suddenly raised his hand and pointed it at the Mansion.

"Go, my horsemen; show them my might. Make them learn what it means to disobey a God. When you're finished, bring me the host of the Phoenix Force." Declared Apocalypse solemnly as he gazed at the Mansion, his words causing Storm, Magento, and Pietro to wickedly smile with a nod.

"Tch, no, it isn't." Said Tut with a frown as he watched Apocalypse suddenly vanish before Pietro, Magneto, and Storm glared at them.

"I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen. Now we'll forcefully engrave into you the power of our God." Stated Storm with a slightly sad expression as she floated into the air while the sky swiftly covered in a thick layer of dark clouds for as far as the eye could see while the wind started to pick up violently.

"You don't have to do this, Storm; do you really intend to attack the school full of the children you vowed to protect and care for? That's not you." Remarked Gambit with an ugly expression as he held his bo-staff in hand while eyeing Storm, who tilted her head in slight confusion before nodding.

"But of course, it's God's decree." Said Storm calmly, as her body suddenly arced in lightning, prompting Magento to raise his hands while Pietro dashed towards them.

Seeing the inevitable fight about to happen, I tightly gripped Wolverine's nape before swiftly throwing him right at the speedily approaching Pietro. I ignored Storm and flew towards Magneto, the most dangerous one present.

'However, even with his enhanced strength, he can only react as fast as his body allows him to.' Thought Pharaoh lightly as he speedily flew towards Magneto before removing his helmet and punching him in the face, breaking his nose and causing him to fall out of the sky; moving faster than his brain could even process.

Catching Magneto out of the sky, I noticed he was still conscious; he was just dazed from my sudden attack, so I gave him two more punches right to his skull, finally knocking him unconscious. Quickly descending to the ground, I set him on the floor right beside his helmet and turned to look back at Storm, who had created a whole ass tornado and was currently wreaking havoc on the estate; I could even see Wolverine spinning about inside of it; though thankfully, all of the students by now have been sent underground, so she was only causing property damage.

Taking to the air, I flew right into the tornado, floating within its eye, and began flying in the opposite direction, creating a vortex that disrupted the tornado before I eventually managed to dispel it forcefully.

"I knew you were going to be a pain to deal with, Pharaoh." Remarked Storm with a slight frown as she floated in the sky and glared at Tut, who was gently setting Wolverine down.

"Storm, can you just stop? I'd prefer not to punch you in the face multiple times." Remarked Tut as he glanced at Storm before looking around, searching for both Pietro and Gambit, though to no avail.

Unfortunately, Storm didn't listen to me and instead summoned forth several much larger tornadoes from the clouds up above while they started to rotate, moving in a manner much similar to a hurricane.

'Welp, you asked for this, Storm; I just hope I don't accidentally ruin that pretty face of yours.' Thought Pharaoh with a sigh as he speedily flew toward the Storm and faster than she could react, punched her in the face.

I was gentler with Storm than with Magneto, not because she was a woman but because she was a friend, but I suppose she wasn't a bitch since she barely buckled when I punched her. Getting struck with a thick bolt of lightning, which didn't harm me whatsoever, I clicked my tongue and punched her again, this time being more serious, which caused her body to go limp as she fell out of the air.

Gently setting Storm on the ground near Magneto, I glanced over at Wolverine, before searching the entire estate for Piretro, and when I found him, he was lying sprawled on the ground in the lobby of the Mansion, only for me to see a brown and white blur.

"Wolverine, are you okay?" Asked Rogue in concern as she bent down and helped Wolverine up, only for her to speedily approach Tut.

"Is Storm okay? Why is she bleeding?" Added Rogue as she looked at Storm and Magneto before glancing at Tut while speaking incredibly fast.

"She got punched in the face a few times; is everyone else okay?" Replied Tut as he glanced at Storm with a wry expression before looking at Rogue, who rapidly nodded.

"Yeap, that super-fast dude came running inside and tried to take us down, but he chose me as his first target; he was very unlucky." Remarked Rogue with a smile as she gave Tut a thumbs up, causing him to chuckle slightly.
