Chapter 175 - Chapter 174: Storm The Famine

"Fortress of Solitude? That's actually quite good; I had intended to mock whatever name you were going to say, but that's a pretty damn good name." Said Gwen with a raised eyebrow as she muttered the name a few times before nodding while Tut gave her a blank expression.

"Damn, I didn't know you were such a hater, Gwen." Remarked Tut, giving Gwen a slightly surprised look while she brushed her hair, flaunting herself.

"Well, when you've got a friend who constantly calls you names and makes fun of you, you've got to hate on him whenever you can." Declared Gwen with a smirk as she looked at Tut, who clicked his tongue and nodded.

"Touché."

"So, will you two stop arguing, or can we go inside? I'd like to be warm." Stated Pete as he looked at Gwen and Tut, who both suddenly smirked.

"Oh yeah, I've brought some food. Do you want to have a picnic, Gwen?" Asked Tut with a smirk as he looked at Gwen, who nodded with a smile.

"Yes, that sounds quite lovely, Tut; I'm feeling a little famished, and the weather is quite splendid right about now." Replied Gwen in a British accent, while Peter watched the two in annoyance.

"Haa, I need some new friends." Muttered Peter softly as he hung his head down in annoyance, causing both Gwen and Tut to laugh.

"Stop acting so dramatic; c'mon, let's go; I'm curious what the inside looks like." Remarked Tut with an amused smirk as he and Gwen walked towards the fortress while Peter sighed in relief and walked right beside them.

When we arrived at the fortress, there wasn't any door, just an opening for one to walk in, which was fine; after all, I didn't need to worry about the heating bill. Entering the fortress, the insides looked very similar to the outsides, crystals jutting all over the place, but it was pretty uniform and looked amazing, not to mention there was already furniture, though it was also made out of crystals, so it probably wasn't that comfortable.

"Ahh, this feels so much better, warmth at last!" Said Peter with a sigh of satisfaction as he hugged his body while his words prompted Tut to release Gwen, who seemed completely fine.

"You two can go and look around." Said Tut as he waved his hand and walked deeper into the fortress, prompting Peter to nod and walk in a different direction while Gwen tagged along.

Since I was the one who envisioned this, I had a rough layout of the place, and when I arrived at the main bedroom, I couldn't help but smile lightly when I spotted the two statues on either side of my room. On the left was a statue of my biological Mother and Father holding my space pod, while on the right side, there was a picture of Mom and Dad holding my baby self with my opened space pod sitting at their feet.

"Hehe, it came out better than I expected, if I'm being honest with myself." Mused Tut with a soft smile as he gazed at his four parents before shaking his head and turning around, leaving the bedroom.

'I'll need to show Mom this.' Mused Tut while walking through the fortress, entering many different rooms of varying sizes before eventually meeting up with Gwen and Peter.

Walking down a long flight of stairs, I entered the room it led to and found Gwen and Peter walking through it with looks of confusion and fascination.

"What's the point of this room, Tut? It's so freaking huge!" Remarked Peter as he spread his arms and looked at Tut while standing in the middle of the room, his voice echoing throughout.

"It's supposed to serve as a hanger, to store planes, spaceships, and cars; that's why it's so massive." Replied Tut with a faint smirk as he approached the two and gazed at the massive room.

"This is also a perfect place to test your new powers, don't you think so?" Added Tut with an eager expression as he rolled up his sleeves while eyeing Peter, who paused before nodding.

"Yeah, and now that you bring it up, I haven't even gotten the chance to tell you about it, especially since you've been ignoring our calls." Remarked Peter with a nod as he eyed Tut, who awkwardly coughed and looked away.

"I was having sexy time with Sara, alright; I've got my priorities straight; besides, neither of you sounded distressed, so I opted to ignore you two." Stated Tut with a nod, his words causing Gwen and Peter to both scoff.

"So you thought sex was more important than your friends; wow, what a friend you are." Said Gwen sarcastically as she folded her arms and looked at Tut.

"No, I thought sex with SARA was more important than my friends, not just sex. Anyway, enough about that, I'm here now, so tell me about your new powers; I'm interested." Stated Tut with a faint smirk before shaking his head and looking at Peter, who rolled his eyes before nodding.

"Well, Mister Hoes Before Bros, I've gotten a few powers, such as enhanced strength, speed, durability, endurance, and apparently, I'm highly resistant to cold as well. However, the most striking power is probably this one." Said Peter blandly as he pointed his hand at Tut while closing his two middle fingers, causing webs to shoot out from a small hole in his wrist.

Seeing the web launch from Pete's wrist, I now understand why he kept saying go web go the other day, and I now realize what his new organ was used for; it was to create this web. Tilting my body to the side, dodging the web, I grabbed it and yanked Pete toward me, though, to my surprise, he reoriented himself in mid-air and landed a few feet behind.

"You've never been that agile before, Pete." Said Tut with a raised eyebrow as he turned to look at Peter, who turned around and nodded.

"So, is that everything, or what?" Added Tut curiously as he looked at the web that was sticking to his hand before trying to remove it, only for it to get stuck to his other hand.

"Um, I can climb on walls, and I also seem to have some kind of precognition. The second is kind of hard to explain, but I pretty much know when bad or unfortunate things are about to happen to me, although I haven't done much testing on it." Remarked Peter lightly as he returned his hand to normal, causing the web jutting out from his wrist to suddenly detach itself while he rubbed his head in uncertainty.

"Precognition? I know someone like that, though I don't know if your abilities operate the same. She actually sees what's going to happen in her dreams." Said Tut lightly as he nodded and looked back at Pete, who shook his head.

"No, mine doesn't work like that; I just get this instinctive feeling that something is going to happen." Replied Peter as he approached Tut, who was having trouble getting his webs off of himself.

Despite my useless attempts, when Pete grabbed the webs and helped me, they immediately came off with no trouble, causing me to grumble in my breath as I wiped my hands clean.

"Anyways, it's getting pretty late, and while this Fortress of Solitude is cool, there really isn't much to do." Remarked Tut with a nod as he glanced at Peter and Gwen before heading towards the stairs that lead to this room, prompting the two others to follow after him.

Once we arrived outside the fortress of solitude, Pete hopped onto my back while Gwen leaped into my arms, causing my face to constantly twitch in annoyance at how they treated me like some taxi; sighing to myself, I took to the sky and quickly flew back home.

'I-I need to warn t-the X-men!' Thought Storm with a battered and defeated appearance as she kneeled on the ground while two people slowly approached her.

Reaching into my pocket, I tried to quickly send a distress signal, but before I could, my phone was crushed into a small sphered before floating towards the second man, who was all too familiar.

"Tch, M-Magneto!" Muttered Storm angrily, lightning dancing through her eyes as she summoned a large storm from up above, but before it could grow into something dangerous, her body suddenly froze.

"Enough of this, Storm; you've been defeated." Declared a young-looking Magneto solemnly as he held his hands towards Storm, controlling the iron in her blood.

'I-I can't move! D-Dammit; w-what's happened to him, h-he's so much stronger than before!' Thought Storm as she glared at Mangento before looking at the large blue man donned in armor, who was at the forefront.

"Your persistence is impressive, but it's useless; your might isn't nearly enough to defeat a God such as I; allow me to show you what it truly means to become my Famine." Remarked the man as he approached the immobile Storm before placing his hand on her hand, causing her eyes to suddenly widen while the clouds up above, no the clouds in the entirety of the world, swirled toward their location.

'S-Such power; t-this must be w-why Magneto would be willing to follow him.' Thought Storm was in awe as he felt her connection to the weather grow exponentially, not realizing her mind was being corrupted.

"Tell me, how do you feel? Do you like it?" Asked the man as he removed his hand from Storm and backed away while Magneto lowered his hand as well, giving Storm control of her body.

"I-It's incredible." Muttered Storm with an expression of awe as she looked up at the sky before looking back at the man.

"Good, now follow me, my Famine." Said the man as he outstretched his hand toward Storm, who, after some hesitation, took it.
