Chapter 172 - Chapter 171: Time Alone

After yelling my confession for a second time, although I still felt terrible and filled with shame, I felt as if a weight had been lifted from my heart; I may have cheated on Sara, but at least I hadn't lied to her, though I suppose cheating is a form of lying. Still, I didn't have nearly enough courage to look Sara in the face, especially when I could hear the pain and anger in her voice.

"I-I s-see. W-Who did you s-sleep with, Tut?" Asked Sara softly in a pain-filled, shaky voice as she looked at Tut while wiping the tears in her eyes, trying her best to remain composed.

"It was with Ms. Rand; she was drunk, and like a pathetic loser, I couldn't control my lust." Replied Tut as he bit his lip while keeping his head down, his words causing Sara to nod with an unsightly expression.

"D-Do you s-still h-have feelings f-for her?" Asked Sara as she took a deep breath to calm herself while Tut didn't immediately answer, angering her.

"N-No; the crush I had on her fizzled away after I slept with her." Replied Tut hesitantly after a few seconds to ponder, his words causing Sara to sport a complicated expression before she wiped her eyes.

"W-Why? Why did you sleep with her? Am I not enough to satisfy you? Is that it?" Questioned Sara softly as she looked at Tut, who flinched from her words and lowered his head even more, but he never responded, greatly angering her.

"ANSWER ME! AM I NOT NOT ENOUGH, TUT!?" Yelled Sara furiously, tears streaming down her face as she stood up and glared at Tut, who clenched his fists but said nothing.

I had no intention of answering this question of hers, no matter how furious she was; I didn't dare to because while she may be right, I was never going to say that, especially not right now. Telling her the truth right now, after I had just cheated on her, would be unintentionally pushing the blame onto her, and that's such an incredibly shallow and even slightly manipulative thing to do. Even though what she said was correct, as a man, I should be the one in control of my lust, not the way other way around; I'm the one at fault, and trying to push the blame onto someone else was cowardly, and since I wasn't a bitch ass nigga, I kept my mouth shut despite her yelling, which she eventually got tired of.

"Hehe, i-it's fine, Tut, e-even if y-you don't need to say a-anything; I-I already know I-I'm not satisfying you." Said Sara with a chuckle of self-mockery as she held her face while continuously wiping her tears.

"J-Just so you know, Tut, I-I'm not too mad. I-I'm just disappointed and slightly heartbroken, though, despite all of that, I still love you. I-I think I-I just need time to myself, t-to sort through everything." Added Sara with a forced smile as she looked at Tut, who sighed but nodded nonetheless.

"I-I understand, Sara." Replied Tut with a nod as he stood up, finally gathering enough courage to look at Sara, though what he saw only saddened him.

Clenching my fist, I approached Sara and embraced her in a tight hug. It was nothing sexual; I just wanted her to know that I loved her as well.

"I-I'm sorry, Sara. I really do love you." Stated Tut as he tightly held Sara in his embrace, causing her to faintly smile as she silently reciprocated the hug.

After a minute or so of quietly hugging each other, I released Sara before turning around, leaving the room, and closing the door behind me, only to lean against it as I grabbed my face while sighing in a myriad of emotions. Rubbing my face, I lowered my hands and glanced at Mr. and Mrs. Grey, who were both standing at the top of the stairs, giving me a slightly disappointed look, and I couldn't blame them; after all, I had just cheated on their daughter.

"Haa, I know; I messed up; you two don't need to lecture me." Said Tut lightly as he glanced at the two before shaking his head in disappointment.

"We had no intention of giving you one, Pharaoh; that is Hana's job. However, I would like to say I'm glad the first thing you did was tell Sara the truth rather than try to keep it hidden; lying to her would've only further ruined things between you two." Remarked John with a shake of his head as he folded his arms while looking at Tut, who nodded while rubbing his head.

"It also shows that despite what you did, you care for her, and as her parents, we can't ask for much more." Said Elaine as she approached Tut, standing in front of him with a small smile while he sighed before moving out of the way, allowing her to enter Sara's room.

Seeing Mrs. Grey enter Sara's room, most likely intending to comfort her, I gave Mr. Grey a forced smile before walking past him and heading downstairs; leaving their house, I walked back to my home, entering it before plopping on the couch. However, I didn't stay like that for long as I stood up and entered the backyard before flying through the skies after ensuring no one was watching, flying towards Manhattan to help with the clean up and to mainly occupy my mind.

When I arrived, I landed on a random skyscraper and took off my clothes, leaving me in my suit while I also deactivated the image inducer earring, allowing my true, handsome face to be free. Placing a brick on my clothes so they wouldn't fly off the roof with a gust of wind, I headed toward where the destruction was most prevalent and started helping by lifting large pieces of damaged buildings, which would take hours.

I wasn't going to help with everything simply because I couldn't just start taking someone else job, but I did help move all of the large pieces that would take cranes and whatnot to move; I stored them all in one spot away from the public so they wouldn't prove to be a nuisance to anyone's lives.

By the time I had finished, it was early in the evening, and so, rather than leaving, I decided to do a little joy ride around the city; now that I didn't really need to worry about my identity, I didn't care if the public saw my face or not. I wasn't flying exceptionally fast through the city; I couldn't, as I'd risk causing destruction, but I was still moving decently fast. However, while flying through the city, I spotted a group of teenagers recklessly driving, nearly crashing into several other cars, and was about to run over someone, having not noticed the red light.

Rubbing my face, I flew down towards the car and picked it up right before it was about to hit the person, who hadn't even noticed he was about to be run over.

"Yo, look; it's Blacksteel!" Yelled one of the teenagers in the car as he looked out the window, only to see Pharaoh lifting the car by their side-view mirror.

"Woah, it really is Blacksteel! Yo, can you fly us around the city?" Asked the teenager in the driver's seat as he leaned over his friend and looked out the window.

"I'll suck your dick!" Yelled a teenage girl in the back seat as she lifted her shirt up, showing her breasts, while Pharaoh's face just constantly twitched.

Ignoring these rambunctious teenagers, who were literally the same age as me, I walked toward a parallel parking spot and set them down before reaching into the driver's seat and removing the car keys.

"You'll get this back once you learn how to drive responsibly." Said Tut as he held the keys in his hand while looking at the four teenagers.

"Ay yo, that's not cool; I'll get a parking ticket!" Stated the teenager as he looked up at Tut, who shrugged his arms and took to the sky.

"Then, they'll hopefully serve as lessons to not drive recklessly; seeya." Remarked Tut as he waved his hands before flying away, leaving the complaining teenagers alone.

With keys in hand, I continued to fly around the city, occasionally helping some people or stopping car accidents, which were quite common within New York, though thankfully, given how congested the streets always were, they were almost never serious. However, after some time, I eventually left and headed toward the skyscraper where my clothes were.

Wearing them, I speedily flew higher into the sky, reaching the edge of the atmosphere as I flew towards my spaceship on the uninhabited island. Landing, I entered the spaceship and walked towards the commander's seat; sitting down, I submerged my hands inside the liquid metal, connecting my brain to the entirety of the spaceship.

'Now, where did Father place all those he talked about?' Mused Pharaoh lightly, his words causing a folder of information to suddenly appear in his head.

"T-That's quite a lot of information, t-this is going to take some time." Muttered Pharaoh with a wry expression as he looked at the folder, which housed roughly all the knowledge and information stored within the Black Zero.

Deciding to worry about that folder for later, I looked at the other stuff Father had managed to steal from the Black Zero, though there wasn't much, only a few things, in fact.

'Ho, that's quite interesting.' Thought Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow as he looked at the slightly glowing crystal.
