Feeling a powerful force suddenly bombarding my mind, I leaned onto the control panel while holding my head, suppressing my grunts as I felt Jeans' familiar presence.
"J-Jean, c-can you please ease up? You nearly broke right through my mental barriers." Asked Pharaoh with a painful expression as he looked at Jean, who was standing with her eyes closed, focusing intently on controlling her enormous power.
"S-Sorry, I-I'll try to hold back some more." Replied Jean apologetically as she glanced at Tut before closing her eyes and lifting her presence from his mind, causing him to sigh in relief.
With Jean's mind no longer feeling like I was carrying the weight of a planet with just my mind alone, I sighed in relief while my mental barriers started to repair themselves; however, I had to admit, I was slightly shocked Jean was in possession of such power, even when she was purposely restraining herself.
"Fuck, Jean, you're no Omega-level mutant for nothing." Muttered Pharaoh lightly as he took several deep breaths, rubbing his head while Jean kept silent, focusing on using her power.
While Jean tuned her control over Cerebo, I patiently waited beside her as she essentially used my mind as her training dummy because I was the only one who could take it, and even then, it was barely it seemed.
"A-Alright, I think I've got the hang of it, sort of; quickly, tell me exactly what you want me to do because I'm not doing this again." Remarked Jean in slight uncertainty as she opened her eyes and glanced at Pharaoh, who took a few moments to ponder.
"Instead of erasing it from everyone's mind, can you lock away the memory of me from everyone's mind; then, can you make it so whenever I introduce myself as Pharaoh T. Kent while wearing my suit, it'll instantly unlock the memory of myself?" Asked Pharaoh seriously as he looked at Jean, who frowned at his words before closing her eyes and spreading her powerful telepathy around the world, encasing it in her thick psionic energy.
"Yes, I can do that; however, are you sure you'd like that? You'll become nonexistent from everyone in the world." Asked Jean skeptically as she looked back at Pharaoh, who mulled over her words before nodding.
"Yes, it's fine; most people don't know who Pharaoh Kent is, so it won't change anything. Besides, you're only locking the memory away, not erasing it, so It's easily fixable. I'll just have to fly around and reintroduce myself a few times, which will be slightly tedious, but oh well." Remarked Pharaoh as he rubbed his chin before nodding at Jean, who promptly closed her eyes.
"Okay, I'll do it, though it'll take several minutes, so just watch me in case Cerebo starts acting crazy. Also, I'm going to leave some minds alone, like Sara's, Pete's, Gwen's, and our parents." Stated Jean solemnly, garnering a thumbs up from Pharaoh, though she was already preoccupied with locking away the memory of Pharaoh Kent from roughly everyone on the world planet.
Wiping a nonexistent sweat off my forehead, I had completely forgotten that she would've entered Sara's mind, and I've got no doubt she would've learned of our relationship; after all, the last thing on Sara's mind should be of her intensely fucking her ass.
'Haa, thank goodness; that was close. Though it's only delaying the inevitable, I will have to tell her soon; ugh, that's going to be so awkward.' Thought Pharaoh with a sigh of relief, only to sport an unsightly expression whenever he looked at Jean.
Thinking of ways to break the news to Jean as nicely as possible, several minutes passed by without me even noticing, and before I knew it, ten minutes had passed. Looking at Jean, I couldn't help but frown at how long it was taking; she had said several minutes, but I hadn't gotten so much of a response from her, and it started to worry me slightly. I would call out to her, but I don't want to possibly mess up whatever she's doing.
"J-Jean? Jean, y-you okay?" Asked Pharaoh softly as he lightly poked Jean's nose, prompting her to snap her eyes open, freaking him out slightly.
"Haa, fucking goodness Jean, why did you open your eyes like that? You gave me a freaking jump-scare." Added Pharaoh as he grabbed his rapidly beating heart before sighing, prompting Jean to faintly smile before her gaze hardened once more.
"Sorry, and yes, I'm okay; I've already finished locking away the memory of your existence while leaving a select few people alone. I-I was just looking within my mind as I noticed something weird sitting in the depths of my psyche." Remarked Jean lightly as she nodded before frowning and closing her eyes, focusing her immensely enhanced mental powers on herself.
"Hmm, what do you mean when you say weird? That's not very descriptive, Jean." Said Pharaoh with a faint frown as he leaned against the control panel and looked at Jean, who furrowed her brows and sported an uncertain expression.
"It looks like a fire inside of my mind, and although faint, I can even sense the presence of another being from it, like another person is living inside my mind. I-I can feel it calling to me." Stated Jean as she observed the fire within herself, only for it to suddenly morph into her figure.

Seeing the fire within myself suddenly morph into my figure, I was slightly taken aback as I cautiously eyed whatever this thing was that was inside my mind; however, before I could relay what was happening to Pharaoh, I suddenly vanished. No longer was I standing inside Cerebo; I was now floating in a void of pitch-black darkness, with the only source of light being my flaming figure in the distance.
"P-Pharaoh!?" Exclaimed Jean loudly in slight fear as her voice echoed throughout the void, yet no reply ever came.
Having gotten no response, which I figured was going to happen, I bit my lip and tried to walk towards the flaming figure, though I actually ended up floating there, not that it made a difference; either way, I was still approaching my flaming figure.
"Jean Grey." Said the flaming figure softly, its voice resounding through the entire void as it seemingly came from every direction.
Frowning, I continued to cautiously approach my flaming figure while it occasionally called my name in such a calming and welcoming manner, which served to only up my guard since I was greatly attracted to my flaming figure, and I didn't know why.
Nearing my flaming figure, I slowed down and warily floated a few feet in front of it as we looked at each other, though while doing so, I couldn't help but instinctively feel that I was standing before a higher being, a god of some sort.
"Jean Grey." Said the flaming figure softly as it looked right at Jean, who deeply frowned.
"W-Who are you? Why do you keep calling my name, and most importantly, why are you inside my mind?" Asked Jean solemnly as she glared at the flaming figure while keeping a level head, suppressing her nervousness and slight fear.
"Jean Grey." Replied the flaming figure, though, unlike the previous times, it outstretched its hand toward Jean, causing her to take a step back while cautiously eyeing her arm.
Seeing its outstretched arm, I don't know why, but I wanted to grab it; it looked so inviting, though I knew better than to grab this being's hand despite my body wanting to do just that. I tried to call out to it and question it again, but all I got in return were the same two words: Jean Grey, my name. Getting annoyed after several minutes of uselessly trying to speak with my flaming figure, I floated away, turning around as I headed in a random direction, hoping to find some kind of exit.
"Eh, i-it wasn't always there, right?" Muttered Jean skeptically as she stopped floating and eyed the flaming figure, which was standing before her in the distance.
Turning around, I once again continued to float in. a different direction; unlike this time, I didn't look back and made sure to keep my eyes in front of me; yet, when I blinked, that flaming figure suddenly appeared standing in the distance with its arm outstretched.
For what felt like hours, I was forced to play this cat-and-mouse game as I floated through this dark void, though eventually, I gave up; no matter what I did, the flaming figure would always appear standing before me. I was helpless here.
Floating back toward my flaming figure, I looked right into its eyes, hoping to see something, but other than two small white flames serving as its pupils. Although I was skeptical if I would actually return back home, I was left with no other options available, so against my better judgment, I hesitantly grabbed the flamming figure's hand.
The instant I did so, I saw the figure smile before its body turned into streaks of flames that rushed into me, yet, instead of being freaked out, I was possibly the calmest I've ever been in my life. The feeling of this flame carried with it was so calming and peaceful and full of life, yet at the same time, I knew it was capable of causing immense destruction and death, though only if wielded poorly.
"Phoenix Force. So comfortable." Muttered Jean softly as she hugged herself, not even realizing the damage her body was actually doing.
