Chapter 153 - Chapter 152: Help Arrives; Carol Danvers

Releasing my hold on the trio, I swiftly punched each on the face, flinging them towards the ground, which caused the nearby civilians to run away while I floated in the air, continuing to do my job of keeping their attention fixated on me, and not on anything thing else.

"Haa, this would be so much easier if I had some help." Muttered Pharooh under his breath, only to shake his head and eye the three as they lunged toward him.

"Don't worry; I've already called in help the moment that spaceship appeared above Manhattan. She should be here soon." Said Fury lightly as he looked at a device on his desk with a blue and red icon with a white symbol in the center.

"I was being serious, but I'd prefer if no one helps me; they'd only end up getting in my way, as I'd be forced to protect them." Remarked Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow while fighting against Zod and Nam-Ek before frowning.

"Oh, that's not something you'll need to concern yourself with; she's no pushover. She'll even give you a run for your money." Stated Fury seriously as he turned around and looked toward the sky, waiting to see her arrival.

"Well, if you say so, I'll trust you on this one, Fury." Replied Pharaoh skeptically as he dragged Nam-Ek through the ground before tossing him in the direction of the Black Zero, only for Zod to slam into him, flinging him through the bottom of a building.

With the news of a supposed helping hand on the way, which would be much appreciated, dealing with these three isn't hard; the problem of who is around me, like all the civilians below me, if they were to vanish suddenly, I'd be able to quickly deal with these three, though, unfortunately, I couldn't. For the next few minutes, I continued to battle the three, preventing them from harming civilians while trying to keep the destruction to a minimum, though that was proving to be a lot harder since they didn't care about the damage they caused.

Getting flung through a building, I pushed myself out of the steel beam I hit before blasting my heat vision right at the lunging Faora, forcing her out of the building.

"Y'all good?" Asked Pharaoh lightly as he glanced to his right, looking at the several people huddled together in the corner, though before they could receive a response, the entire building started to shake violently.

Looking down, tens of floors lower, I saw Zod and Nam-Ek using their heat vision to cut the skyscraper in half, causing me to curse as I felt the building begin to tip to the side.

"H-Hold onto something!" Stated Pharaoh as he gazed at the group before flying out the window and stopping the building from tipping over, covering the entire building in his aura.

Now that I was keeping this building from tipping, my movements were proving to be very restricted as I was forced to tank some of the blows instead of ragdolling, causing the other nearby building to receive a decent amount of damage, which quickly began to accumulate.

"That help would be nice right about now, Fury!" Yelled Pharaoh as he kept the building from falling using one hand while the other was used to block and punch the three.

"She should be here any second." Replied Fury as he squinted his eyes, standing beside the window as he looked out into the sky, his impatience visibly noticeable.

Blasting a hole through the hull of the spaceship, I flew right into it while everyone inside was sucked out into space, shooting at me with their blasters, which did nothing since they were all too busy suffocating to aim.

Walking through the spaceship, I grabbed the door blocking my path and ripped it open, causing everyone who was inside also to get sucked back out, except for one, which was the Captain.

"Surrender, or you'll follow your men and drift into space, never to be seen again." Remarked Carol as she stared at the ugly alien, who was wearing a breathing mask while she, herself, was wearing a helmet that covered most of her face, leaving a small opening on the top, allowing her blonde hair to hang behind her.

"I-I surrender." Said the alien reluctantly with an ugly expression before sighing, causing Carol to lightly smile as she grabbed the alien, ripping him out of his seat before flying out from the spaceship.

Flying towards the giant spaceship in the distance, I lowered myself through a decently sized hatch, which then closed before the second one beneath my feet opened, prompting me to lower myself as I dropped the space pirate on the ground while the guards of this bus spaceship took care of him.

"On behalf of everyone, I'd like to formally thank you for saving our lives." Said a tall alien as he took off his Captain's hat and bowed slightly to Carol, who lightly smiled with a nod.

"You're welcome, though; I've really got to leave; my friend is calling me." Said Carol as she waved at the Captain of the spaceship before flying up, entering the hatch that swiftly closed afterward, prompting the second one to open.

Flying out of the spaceship, I looked at the nearby stars, ensuring I wasn't heading in the wrong direction before I shot off through the sky while heading toward Earth.

'I'll get there in a few moments; I just hope whatever Fury called me for wasn't too urgent.' Mused Carol as she speedily flew through space, moving many times faster than even the speed of light.

Punching Zod away, I fixed the building I was holding up and used my breath to freeze everything that was cut while the ice also helped in stabilizing the structure.

'This should do for now.' Mused Pharoah as he looked at the building, which was slightly tilting, before turning around and punching Faora in the face.

Grabbing her by the neck, I flew us into the ground, slamming her body right into the street, before punching her relentlessly in the face, though I was forcefully interrupted by Zod and Nam-Ek as they hit me in the back. Grunting, I pushed the two off of me before blasting them with my heat vision while stepping on Faora's neck; however, all of a sudden, I saw a flash of colorful light, and the next thing I knew, I was flung through the sky at breakneck speeds, before I quickly left Earth's atmosphere.

Rubbing my cheek, I spit onto my hand, only to widen my eyes slightly when I noticed blood along with one of my teeth; whoever had just attacked me wasn't a punk bitch, that's for sure. Stopping myself while flying above the Earth, I looked down at New York, only to spot a blonde-haired woman wearing a red and blue suit with lights coming off her like she was an anime character; she was standing right where I was while grabbing her hand in pain.

'Tsk, another person to fight, just great.' Mused Pharaoh with a hardened gaze as he speedily shot off towards New York, his body set aflame while entering the atmosphere, though it was merely decoration for him.

Arriving in New York, I tried to punch the woman, but she moved out of the way just in time, which caused me to frown slightly as I chased after her while pounding her; yet, despite moving swiftly, she was moving so incredibly fast I couldn't even see her movements, it was like she teleported.

"Stop running, coward!" Yelled Pharaoh in slight anger as he blasted her with his heat vision, though despite hitting her, it was proving to not harm her whatsoever.

"Tsk, I'm no coward; your body is just so fucking hard. What are you made out of? Adamantium?" Questioned the woman with a deep frown while holding her hand in pain as she eyed Tut, who was continuously trying to attack her.

"I'm made out of real nigga, bitch!" Remarked Pharaoh, his words causing Carol to grunt before suddenly punching him in the face, only to slightly widen her eyes.

"Heh, unlike the other three, it seems you can be angered." Added Pharaoh with a smirk as he tightly held Carol's arm before reeling his arm back.

"C'mon, C'mon, C'mon! Why can't I absorb your energy? I can clearly feel it!" Muttered Carol nervously, not realizing in the heat of the moment that Tut's Bio-electric aura was preventing her.

Just as I was about to punch this woman, I heard Fury yelling in my ear, stopping my punch from hitting her.

"STOP!!" Yelled Fury while looking at his computer, watching the broadcast from the News Seven helicopter.

"You better have a good reason, Fury." Said Pharaoh with a frown as he glared at Carol while the power of his punch traveled through the air, which dented the wall on the side of a building.

"Eh, Fury? You know, Fury?" Asked Carol in surprise as she looked at Pharaoh, who frowned while nodding his head.

"Yeah, though, barely. Anyways, since you know him, I'm assuming you're the help he called for?" Replied Pharaoh as he released Carol, observing her while she did the same to him.

"Yeah, I'm Carol Danvers, though right now I'm Captain Marvel; what about you?" Said Carol lightly as she shook her hand a little before glancing back at Pharaoh, only to see him spit some blood on the ground, though he promptly burnt it away with his heat vision.

"Pharaoh Kent, though, my moniker is Blacksteel." Remarked Pharaoh as he approached Carol, only for Zod to grab him by the head and drag him through the ground.

Damn, Carol really flew at superspeed and punched Pharaoh, and all she did was break a tooth? That nigga is really on a different level when it comes to physical might.
