Chapter 77 - Chapter 76: Refugee Camp

Despite what happened with Sara, I knew I was going to eat her out again; hell, if I was horny enough, I might do it later today, though I'd have to get horny first, and I know for some people, this might be some kink, but for me, it did the complete opposite and made my dick soft quickly.

"Hmph, we'll talk about this later, Sara; just know, a simple apology isn't enough to compensate for what you did." Remarked Pharaoh with a huff of irritation as he glared at Sara before looking away, while she sighed and nodded.

Now, since I had the pickup truck to get us to the refugee camp, it was time to hit the road; standing up, I cleared my throat before addressing everyone.

"Everyone, if y'all could listen to me real quick." Said Pharaoh as he spoke loudly, gaining the attention of everyone and prompting him to continue speaking.

"You may or may not know, but there is a refugee camp not too far away, and that's where I intend to take you all. I may have rescued you all, but I can't provide for you; the best place for you to be would be a refugee camp." Stated Pharaoh solemnly as he stood before the crowd of seventeen survivors, who, despite his expectations, all accepted with a nod, surprising him, which they noticed.

"Don't be surprised, Pharaoh, you've saved our lives and helped us immensely; in good conscience, we can't continue to rely on such a young boy." Said an older woman softly with a smile as she stood up with the assistance of a younger man.

"Yes, you've entered a war-stricken country and helped us out of the goodness of your heart; none of us here expected you to take care of us." Remarked the older man who was searching for his wife, Yolnza, as he stood up as well.

"You were merely getting us back onto our feet." Commented a young man.

"We're already thankful enough that we're still alive."

"Words can't express our gratitude for you, Pharaoh."

Hearing them, I couldn't help but slightly smile; it felt good to help people, especially when said people were at their lowest and simply needed a helping hand.

'See, if the whole world were like this, it would be as close to a utopia as realistically possible: people helping each other instead of what we always do.' Thought Pharaoh with a smile as he looked at the group before frowning as he thought of merely New York, not even daring to imagine the rest of the world.

"Haa, the more I help people, the more my respect for Superman grows." Muttered Pharaoh as he looked toward the sky.

"Alright, enough with the flattery, everyone; it won't make me stay with you all." Said Pharaoh lightly, causing everyone to smile slightly as they grabbed their belongings.

"Just pile into this truck, and I'll take us to the refugee camp." Added Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he gestured to the truck behind him.

With everyone getting into the truck, I helped some of the elders since they weren't in the best of conditions before placing Slavany, the youngest of the group, in the backseat while Sara was in the passenger seat. Buckling Slavany, just in case, I closed the doors and went to the back of the truck where most of the people were.

"Hold on, it's probably going to be a little bumpy." Said Pharaoh as he covered the truck and everyone inside in his aura before suddenly lifting it into the air, catching them all by surprise.

I would've pushed the truck, but it's not really possible when tons of debris were blocking the street; besides, why push it when I can just fly there in a matter of a few minutes? Floating into the air, I went at steady speed as I flew higher into the air, only stopping once I was above the clouds.

"O-Oh, dear."

"I-I wasn't imagining this."

Chuckling at them, I had to hand it to them; despite being lifted hundreds of feet into the air, they were relatively calm. Facing the south, where I could hear the refugee camp, I started flying in that direction, increasing my speed at a constant rate as I wasn't trying to give someone a heart attack.

The flight didn't take long, much longer than it would've taken me by myself, but in general, it was only about twenty minutes; thankfully, the clouds were blocking us, but I could see what looked to be a sizeable military-style building, with tanks, towers with snipers and mounted machine guns, automated turrets, RPG's, and various other things I didn't know what they were called.

'Damn, they're really protected.' Mused Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow as he spotted the military base.

Now, here comes the hard part: emerging from the cloud right above a military base while holding a car full of people. Well, not directly above the military base, but that didn't really matter.

'Even if they shoot everything they've got, they won't harm the truck or anyone inside.' Thought Pharaoh as he slowly descended from the clouds, and it didn't take long to be spotted.

"Spot anything?" Asked a Serbian soldier as he stood in the tower while operating the mounted machine gun.

"Nah, nothing." Replied another Serbian soldier while looking through the optics of his sniper, finding nothing note-worthy.

"Usually, that would be good, but against those sick fuckers, I wouldn't put it past them to attack a refugee camp; this place is poorly defended compared to the other military bases." Remarked the soldier operating the gun with a scowl.

"Yeah, can't believe they'd kill civilians cau-" Said the soldier holding the sniper as he aimlessly looked up at the sky, only to freeze when he spotted a blue object emerging from the clouds.

"I think I got something in the sky!" Yelled the soldier as he looked back to the optics of his sniper and gazed at the blue object.

"Something in the sk- yes, I see it! What is it? I can't make it out from this distance; it looks too small to be a fighter jet." Stated the first soldier as he spotted the blue truck, shifting the machine gun to point at the newly appeared object.

"I-it's a blue pickup truck being carried by a brown-skinned man? No, that's a kid." Said the sniper soldier hesitantly as he zoomed in on Pharao's face, only to shiver in fear when he saw Pharaoh look right at him.

"What!? A mutant? Dammit! Mutants are troublesome to deal with." Remarked the soldier operating the machine gun with a scowl as he and various other soldiers watched the truck descend toward the ground.

"I know, but remember we've got orders; only fire upon if fired upon, although unlikely, they may be friendly or neutral." Stated the soldier with the sniper solemnly as he switched the safety off and followed the blue truck, keeping his crosshairs on Pharaoh's figure at all times.

Gently landing on the ground about thirty or so meters away from the entrance of the refugee camp, I was honestly a little surprised I wasn't shot at, even though I noticed nearly every weapon pointing at me; I knew If I made one stupid move, they probably wouldn't be hesitant to fire upon me.

"Still, this is already better than I could've hoped for." Muttered Pharaoh lightly as he slowly walked to the front of the truck and sat on the hood, patiently waiting.

Exiting from the front entrance of the refugee camp were a few jeeps and humvees with mounted turrets, along with numerous soldiers as they all surrounded us, though they were mainly focusing on me. I could hear a few of them whispering to themselves, most assuming I'm a mutant or something, which is the best alibi for me; besides, even if I told people, I doubt they'd believe that I'm an alien. I mean, I look just like a human.

While waiting, I saw an older man emerge from a jeep while slowly approaching me with an entourage of soldiers; each one had their fingers on the trigger, ready to fire at a moment's notice.

'I don't think that's military standard, but what do I know.' Thought Pharaoh as he shrugged his arms, his sudden movement causing one of the approaching men to fire at him accidentally.

'Damn, they're really twitchy.' Mused Pharaoh lightly as he watched the bullet slowly approach him, though he caught it out of the air before it did.

"My bad, here you go." Said Pharaoh calmly as he tossed the bullet toward the one who shot him, causing him and everyone else to be taken aback slightly.

"Calm yourself, soldier!" Ordered the older man at the forefront as he admonished his subordinate, who nodded before focusing back on Pharaoh.

"Who are you, and state your purpose for being here." Stated the older man sternly as he stood three meters from Pharaoh while intensely eyeing him.

"You can just call me Tut, and I'm here to drop off a few survivors I happened to rescue; I can't take care of them as well as you guys, so I figured the refugee camp was the best place to be." Replied Pharaoh lightly as he pointed behind him, causing the man from before to shoot once again.

Catching the second bullet out of the air, I blankly stared at the soldier to the older man's right.

"Dawg, I know you're in the middle of a war, and I'm suspicious, mutant, but c'mon, calm yourself a little." Said Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he tossed the bullet back to him while the superior officer glared at him in slight anger.
