Chapter 65 - Chapter 64: Hotel

"Hehe, look at us, Sara! We're rich in leu!" Said Pharaoh with a grin as he counted the leu in his hands before glancing at Sara, who was also smiling.

"How much did the guy have?" Asked Sara curiously as she counted the several bills in Pharaoh's hands.

"He alone had double what the other people had; in total, we've got a little over 6,000 lei; that should be more than enough to do whatever we need to do in Romania." Remarked Pharaoh with a smile as he stored the cash in his pocket and entered the hotel lobby.

Walking towards the empty front desk, I rang the bell a few times and waited for someone to appear, which took a while, but finally, someone emerged from the door right behind the front desk.

"C-Can I help you two?" Asked a sleepy man in Romanian as he looked at Sara and Tut; well, not really, since his eyes were closed.

"Yeah, we'd one- two, two rooms, please." Said Pharaoh as he quickly corrected his mistake while the man just nodded before grabbing a clipboard.

"Sorry, only one room is available; here you go. That'll be 60 lei." Said the man as he didn't even wait for Tut to say anything and handed him a key.

"Haa, thanks." Muttered Pharaoh with a sigh as he pulled out sixty lei and handed it to the man, who didn't even bother checking it and just wrote on his clipboard before entering the room he had just exited.

"He looked tired." Commented Sara lightly, while Pharaoh just nodded in response before looking at the key in his hands.

'Room 69.' Thought Pharaoh blankly as he shook his head and walked toward the stairs while Sara followed him.

Heading to the second floor, we walked down to the end of the hall and stopped at the second to last door, which was room sixty-nine; weirdly enough, the last room's door was wide open, though it was tapped off.

"Wonder what happened in there." Muttered Sara curiously as she looked into the tapped-off room, only to freeze when she saw a chalk drawing of a human body.

"Eh, never mind." Said Sara nervously as she moved closer to Pharaoh, who was chuckling.

Opening the door, we entered our room, which had two beds, though that was it: no TV, dresser, radio, only a bathroom, two beds, and a phone.

"At least it's clean." Remarked Pharaoh optimistically as he threw his backpack on the farther bed while Sara placed her suitcase on the closer one.

"I'm going to call my parents; tell them we made it. You should as well, Sara." Added Pharaoh as he grabbed the old dial phone and inputted his house number slowly while Sara nodded.

"I'm going to use the bathroom; woman business, if you will." Stated Sara as she grabbed a bag of tampons and entered the bathroom while Pharaoh dismissively waved his hand, waiting for either Hana or James to pick up the phone.

"This is Hana Kent; who is this?" Asked Hana candidly while Pharaoh used this chance to prank her.

"Hana Kent, this is Walter White, we need to cook!" Said Pharaoh as he impersonated Walter White's voice from Breaking Bad, though all he received was a humming noise.

"Hana? Hello, Hana, you there? Do you not want to cook?" Questioned Pharaoh lightly, though the sound coming through the phone didn't change.

'Haa, did she really hang up on me?' Thought Tut with a sigh as he again went through the arduous process of calling someone on a dial phone.

"Pharaoh." Said Hana blandly from the phone, and while Tut didn't know what expression she was making, he could imagine it.

"Hehe, I thought it was funny, Mom. Why you always got to be a buzzkil, Dad would've enjoyed." Remarked Pharaoh lightly with a chuckle while Hana merely huffed, opting to ignore his last comment.

"So, I'm assuming you made it safely to your destination?" Asked Hana curiously, causing Tut to smile awkwardly.

"Well, we made it to our destination unscathed, though I wouldn't necessarily call it safe." Replied Tut, causing Hana to frown, though knowing nothing had happened, she didn't pry for further questions.

"You can tell me about it once you return home; speaking of that, when do you intend to return home?" Asked Hana with a shake of her head as she grabbed the remote and switched TV channels.

"Eh, I plan to return home by Friday; after all, I've got a basketball game to play on Saturday. We're going to be in the Semi-finals." Remarked Tut lightly, causing Hana to nod while the two spoke about other stuff.

"Alright, Sara's out of the bathroom, so she's about to call Mr. and Mrs. Grey. Bye, love you, Mom." Said Tut with a smile as he glanced at Sara, leaving the bathroom looking completely refreshed.

"Bye, love you, Pharaoh."

Hanging up the phone, I lay on my bed and waited for Sara to be done talking on the phone, which didn't take nearly as long as it did for me, and after ten minutes, she said her goodbyes before hanging up the phone; the two of us laying in silence.

"So, Sara, you're the one who planned this all out; what are we doing now?" Asked Pharaoh as he rolled onto his side and looked at Sara.

"Well, first things first, we need to enter Serbia, which, with your help, shouldn't be too difficult, I hope." Replied Sara solemnly as she sat upright and looked at Tut.

"Great plan, leader." Remarked Tut sarcastically as he rolled his eyes.

"So, when are we leaving? It's very early in the morning; do we leave now or what?" Questioned Tut as he also sat upright, looking at Sara.

"Since we're in Timișoara, we're not too far away from Serbia, only about 60 miles out. Though Serbia is in the middle of a war, I'm sure they've got the borders heavily defended in case of attackers; it'll make it slightly more difficult, so we should go at night. I'd love to go right now, but I don't know if we could make it while it's still night." Stated Sara seriously with a thoughtful expression as she reached into her suitcase and looked at her notebook.

"I'm actually surprised you're taking this seriously." Remarked Tut lightly, causing Sara to frown as she looked up from her notebook and glanced at him.

"Of course I am; that job means a lot to me; besides, those two plane tickets weren't cheap. 1,000 dollars each! I'll be damned if I don't make the most of it; I don't get paid a lot for working as an intern." Said Sara with a hurt expression at the loss of two thousand dollars before shaking her head and focusing back on her notebook, which contained detailed information she had acquired from the internet.

"Damn, I didn't know they were that expensive; shit, I'm about to make the most of this trip too." Muttered Pharaoh with wide eyes as he glanced at Sara with a pondering expression.

"If I carry you there, I can get to Serbia in less than a minute, so if you're really dead set on leaving tonight, you should hurry up and prepare the essentials: food, water, clothes, and whatever else." Added Tut as he tossed his backpack to Sara, who barely managed to catch it before hitting her face.

"Serious!? I didn't know you could move THAT fast, Pharaoh!" Remarked Sara in shock as she looked at Tut, who nodded with a smirk.

"Yes, however, before I do that, I want to test something out first, and if it doesn't work, I won't be able to carry you without worrying about you getting whiplash." Stated Tut as he stood up and approached Sara before sitting on the bed beside her, touching her shoulder.

"Um, am I supposed to do anything?" Asked Sara as she looked at Tut, who was intently looking at her.

"No, just stay still; it should make this easier." Replied Tut as he focused on spreading his bio-electric aura around Sara, encasing her in it within several seconds.

'Alright, that was much easier than the plane, but I just hope it works the same on Organic life.' Thought Tut as he held Sara's hand and started squeezing.

"Tell me if it hurts." Said Tut seriously, squeezing Sara's hands with enough force to crush iron while continuing to increase the pressure.

Even when I started to use strength I've never been required to use before, Sara didn't seem phased at all, and while I could've kept going, at that point, it didn't matter; so long as my power covered her, she was practically indestructible.

"Hmph, why did you stop?" Asked Sara in confusion as she glanced at Tut, who shook his head and removed his hand from her body.

"Because it didn't matter anymore; anyways, my test worked. So, as I said before, we can go if you want to leave today." Replied Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he returned to his bed and looked at Sara, who grinned.

"Yes; just give me like 30 minutes to prepare everything." Stated Sara excitedly as she stood up and approached Tut, leaning down before him, causing him to blush while giving him a magnificent view of her breasts, not even realizing she was stealing some money from his pocket.

"I'll be right back; I'm going to find a vending machine and get some snacks." Added Sara with a smile as he quickly left the room and practically ran down the hall while Tut was still too busy remembering the view of her breasts.

'Ugh, why do I feel this way!?' Thought Tut with a frown as he looked down at his crotch, which was pitching a tent.
