Chapter 63 - Chapter 62: Bio-Electric Aura For The Win

Although theoretically, my idea would work, the only problem was that I'd never tried it on anything remotely this large; the biggest object I'd tried it on was the table, so I didn't know if it'd work. I could try destroying the missile with my heat vision; I wouldn't mind too much if people found out about that. I'd just say I'm a mutant or whatever; better than allowing all these people to die when I had the power to prevent it.

Though that also wasn't the best idea, with how high we are up, creating a hole in the ship would destabilize the atmospheric pressure in the plane and cause significantly more damage than a simple small hole.

'Tsk, let's just hope I can cover the entire plane.' Mused Tut with a focused expression as he closed his eyes and slowly spread his bio-electric aura around the plane.

With how intently I was focusing, I was actually able to tell how far my power had extended, which wasn't a lot, but so long as I kept up this pace for the next minute, I should be able to surround the entire plane; or at least all the critical parts that'll keep this thing in the air.

The seconds ticked by, and although I tried my best to stay calm and focused, as I heard that missile approach us, it was a little nerve-wracking; if I happened to fail this, there was a good chance everyone but me on this plane was going to die. Knowing I held the lives of roughly twenty people was far more terrifying than I had ever expected, though I suppose that spurred me to keep a level head and not make a mistake.

"Tut, I'm humbry." Muttered Sara softly in her sleep as she moved around on his lap, her breasts finally spilling out, though he couldn't view such a beautiful sight.

'Not know Sara!' Thought Tut as he opened his eyes and glanced at Sara, completely disregarding her exposed breast before focusing back on the task at hand.

That minute quickly flew by, and before I knew it, I had literally only a few seconds remaining; even without my incredible vision, I could see the rapidly approaching missile heading for Sara's window.

'C'mon!' Thought Tut as his bio-electric aura finally covered the entire plane, just in time as the missile reached them, exploding with enough force to decimate a standard passenger plane, let alone this small one.

The left side of the plane was engulfed in a fiery explosion, yet, thanks to my ability, not so much as a scratch appeared on the plane; hell, there wasn't even a deviation in our flight path; that missile did absolutely nothing, it was barely even audible.

"Haa, thank goodness." Muttered Tut with a sigh of relief, feeling mentally fatigued.

Despite feeling tired, I didn't let my guard down yet. I had no idea where that missile came from, or why it was headed for us, but just to be on the safe side, I expanded my hearing until I heard everything happening on the ground. It took a few minutes to understand the gist of their language as it was my first time hearing them speak, but what I figured out was, for some reason, we were flying right above Serbia; not only that, it was above the people who started the war, the more aggressive side if you will call it as such.

We were flying over their air space, and after a few failed attempts at trying to contact us through the radio, they launched a missile at us; although it angered me very much at the act, they nearly killed all these people after a few seconds of thinking about it, it made sense. However, what didn't make sense was why the radio signal didn't go through; actually, a better question is, why the hell is a passenger plane flying over a warring country?

I looked at the cockpit, and to my astonishment, the pilot who was supposed to be flying the plane was fast asleep at the wheel; in a fit of anger, I clenched the armrest, which was thankfully protected by ability, so nothing happened.

'This is why there are supposed to be TWO pilots!' Thought Tut as he gnashed his teeth while eyeing Jack sleeping at the wheel, oblivious to the beeping radio.

Not wanting to be shot at again, I stood up and approached the door to the cockpit, and thankfully, since everyone was asleep, they didn't notice me opening the door and entering the cockpit. Grabbing the radio, I cleared my throat and copied Jack's voice as I responded.

"Hello, this is Captain Jack; sorry for the late response; who is this?" Said Tut in rough Serbian and a deep male voice as he spoke through the radio, waiting for the other side to respond, though he could hear them speaking down on the ground.

"W-What the? Didn't we shoot a missile? How are they still alive?" Questioned a soldier in Serbian as he looked to his right while holding a radio.

"I don't know, I wasn't up there." Replied another soldier in Serbian as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Yes, Captain Jack, this is Private Casten, communications base #4; you are to tell us why you're flying over our air-space, and if you do not cooperate, we have orders to shoot you down." Replied the Casten sternly as he spoke through the radio.

'Fuck me, what the hell am I supposed to say!?' Thought Tut as he froze and looked at Jack before slapping himself in the face.

Feeling utterly stupid with myself, I set the radio in Jack's hand and slapped him awake as I quickly left the cockpit.

"Huh, what the? Oh, yes, this is Captain Jack of the U.S. passenger plane 927; our destination is Romania; who is this?" Said Jack as he rubbed his head in confusion before suddenly upright and speaking into the radio in rough Serbian, confusing Casten, confusing him.

Sighing in relief, I returned to my seat and gently lifted Sara's head before placing her back on my lap.

'She needs to wear a tighter bra.' Mused Tut as he glanced at her exposed breasts before sighing and readjusting her bra to cover her breasts.

When the conversation between Jack and Casten finally ended, only then did I stop protecting the ship with my ability, as it returned to my body; although Casten had asked about the missile, Jack obviously hadn't known about it since he was sleeping.

"Haa, I'm mentally exhausted." Muttered Tut as he rubbed his temples, though he stayed awake for the remainder of the flight while his hearing was at full power, ensuring something crazy didn't happen again.

"Haa, that was a wonderful sleep; have we arrived in Romania yet, Tut?" Asked Sara with a yawn as she finally awoke from her deep slumber and rubbed her eyes before resting her head on Tut's shoulder.

"Yeah, we arrived thirty minutes ago, sleepy head; as a matter of fact, I was just waiting for you to wake up so we could leave." Replied Tut with a nod as he glanced at Sara, who looked around, only now noticing she wasn't inside the plane.

"Eh, where are we?" Asked Sara in confusion as she sat upright and looked around.

"A Romanian Airport; after we landed, I carried you on my back along with our luggage and have been sitting here for you to awaken." Said Tut calmly as he glanced around the airport before looking back at Sara.

"Hehe, sorry about that, Tut, though you should've just woken me up; you didn't need to carry me." Said Sara with a sheepish laugh as she stood up and started stretching, her body feeling stiff from the eleven-hour flight.

"I should've, but I just wanted off that plane as quickly as possible." Remarked Tut with a frown as he stood up and picked up their luggage.

"Hmm, why is that? Did something happen?" Asked Sara curiously as she looked at Tut.

"Yeah, something almost happened, though I'll tell you about it later; for now, let's go and find a place to stay the night." Stated Tut with a shake of his head as he turned toward his left and started walking, Sara quickly following right beside him.

"Okay; however, I know you speak many languages, but do you know Romanian?" Asked Sara with a nod as she fixed her clothes, which were all over the place from her sleeping.

"Not fluently, no, but by the end of today, I will." Replied Tut lightly, his words causing Sara to huff as she gave him an envious look.

"You're really lucky you know that, thanks to your hearing and genius intellect, you can learn a language in a matter of a day, while it would take me over a year." Remarked Sara with a slight frown as she sighed at her misfortune.

"Yeah, maybe, with my ears, I can hear everything; however, that's also the downside since I can hear everything. Whether it's good or bad, I can hear it all, and that's the main reason why I suppress my hearing almost all of the time; any normal person would go mad from the incessant screaming, begging, sobbing, howls, and shrieks of pain and agony." Stated Tut with a frown as he slightly winced, remembering all the terrible things he'd heard happen over the years.

"I-I suppose I didn't think about it like that." Muttered Sara softly as she reevaluated her perception of superpowers.

"No one thinks of the negatives when they hear the word superpower; neither did I. However, although the cons are rather severe, the pros still far outweigh it; besides, as I said, it's not all bad; just keep your hearing somewhat suppressed, and you'll be fine, most of the time." Remarked Tut with a slight smirk as he playfully pushed Sara, causing her to huff as she did the same, though he didn't so much as budge.
