Chapter 50 - Chapter 49: Meeting New People

Once Rogue finished eating, like the bundle of energy she was, she ran off, finding someone else to bother, though I think she did so partly because I had eaten like a third of her food. Seeing Rogue run off in the distance, I stood up and followed after her; exiting the cafeteria, I made a left down a hall and walked up a set of small stairs leading to the second floor. When I reached the top, I spotted a small group of people standing nearby, and the moment they noticed me, a blue-looking imp turned right to me and started walking toward me.

"Hehe, he's going to do it again, how much you want to bet he sends them to Japan?"

"No, I bet he'll send them to China."

"He's already done China; I'm thinking the middle of the Ocean."

"Tch, are you stupid? Kurt isn't going to send them there; they might be unable to swim."

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

Seeing Kurt approaching me, I stopped and looked at him; despite his appearance, he seemed friendly, though I knew what he was going to do. He had the ability to teleport himself and others by simply touching them; just like what he did with the few other people from before, he'd introduce himself, and when they shake hands, he'd teleport them. From what I can tell, he doesn't have any evil intentions while doing so; he's merely pranking them and will return them after a few seconds.

"Yo, what's up?" Asked Pharaoh as he calmly looked at Kurt standing before him.

"Ahh, nothing; I just haven't seen you before, so I figured you might be a new student, and I wanted to introduce myself. I'm Kurt Wagner; nice to meet you." Said Kurt with a slight smile as he looked at Pharaoh and outstretched his hand while trailing off towards the end.

"You can call me Pharaoh, and I'm not going to shake hands with you; I already know what you're trying to do. I don't feel like appearing in Antarctica and fighting a polar bear; actually, on second thought, I've never seen a polar bear. Can you send me to Antarctica?" Remarked Pharaoh with a shake of his head, seeing right through Kurt's plan before rubbing his chin, sporting a thoughtful expression.

"Eh, how did you know? I-I mean, I don't know what you're talking about; I'm just trying to make new friends; it's a little hard for me since my appearance is so off-putting to people." Replied Kurt as he tried to quickly cover up his mistake, though it was too late, not like it would've mattered; Pharaoh had known the entire time.

"Don't chicks dig bad boys or something? You look like an Imp; can't be much worse than an Imp." Said Pharaoh curiously with a raised eyebrow as he looked at Kurt, who was slightly taken aback by his words.

"Also, I've got amazing ears, so I've been hearing you teleporting people all day. With ears like mine, it's rather difficult for there to be secrets. Like Jessica is cheating on her boyfriend with Colin, heard them fucking when we were flying in." Added Pharaoh, pointing at his ears before shaking his head and walking past Kurt.

"You mean Jessica M. and Colin S.?" Asked Kurt curiously as he ran after Pharaoh and stood before him, blocking his path.

"I don't know about Colin's last name, but Jessica M. is correct; now it was cool meeting you, Kurt, but I've got something to do, so see you later." Replied Pharaoh with a nod before patting Kurt's shoulder and walking past him once more, though Kurt was too busy concocting a prank with the information he had just obtained to react.

"Hehe, guys, I just found out something insane!" Said Kurt with a mischievous grin as he ran back to his group, spreading the word of Jessica and Colin's affair, causing them all to widen in surprise.

While it seemed like Jessica and Colin were about to be in for a rude awakening because of what I said, I continued walking, heading for the dorm side of the school since that's where Eloise was muttering to herself; she was probably in her room performing a dark ritual or something.

However, shortly after being interrupted, I heard Bobby spitting game to a girl, and since he sounded close, I was somewhat interested in seeing who it was; taking a right, I peaked around the corner and saw Bobby leaning up against the wall, trying to act smooth while speaking with a brown haired girl, called Kath, who was probably about his age.

'Hmm, she looks familiar.' Mused Pharaoh as he looked through Bobby's body, getting a better view of Kath, who seemed to be enjoying the conversation.

I wasn't a creep or anything, so after a few more moments, I turned and was about to leave, but then he started talking about what had happened last night with the Brotherhood of Mutants, and I had never heard someone lie so much to impress a girl.

"Yeah, so that fool Sabertooth attacked first, but obviously, as your boy was on the job, I froze him right up without a hitch; he nearly broke when he hit the ground. After him, Pyro came along and tried to help his frozen teammate, and while I had a little trouble with him initially, once I froze the lighter he relied on, it was over for him. Then the Juggernaught came along; now, this was a little personal since he tried attacking you on the island in California, and while it's impossible to stop his charge, I froze the ground beneath his feet; after that, he wasn't so scary anymore." Declared Bobby nonchalantly as he spoke to Kath, who looked at him skeptically, though she didn't bother interrupting and continued listening with a smile.

"Once the heavy hitters were out of the way, it was easy after that; I don't even remember defeating Mystique. White Queen was easy as well, same with Magneto; he's only scary if you allow him time to get enough metal, so I just defeated him before that." Added Bobby with a grin, though before he could say anything else, he was suddenly lifted in the air by his ankle.

"Yo, that sounds awesome, Bobby. I didn't know you were such a badass; would you mind retelling the events in more detail?" Asked Pharaoh with a slight smirk as he held Bobby in the air and looked down at him, who was frozen in shock despite being able to use ice.

"Eh, P-Pharaoh, what are you doing here? I thought you were with Jean?" Asked Bobby with a forced smile and a pleading expression as he looked up at Pharaoh, who merely grinned.

"Pharaoh? Oh, so you're the one Bobby was protecting after nearly getting beaten by Sabertooth. Nice to meet you; I'm Katherine Pryde, though you can call me Kath." Said Kath with a smile as she looked at Pharaoh and outstretched her hand, which he reciprocated and shook her hand.

"You can just call me Tut, though I'm interested; what other lie did this fool Bobby say? Cause if I remember correctly, wasn't I the one who beat the Brotherhood of Mutants, minus WhiteQueen, as I had gotten her number like a real nigga." Stated Tut with an amiable smile as he looked at Kath before frowning while shifting his focus to Bobby, who was wincing at his lie being exposed.

"Y-You sure? I could've sworn I had defeated them. Did Sabertooth hit you on the head too hard?" Questioned Bobby curiously while pleading to Pharaoh to go along with his lie, though he wasn't buying it.

"Nope; besides, I don't think Kath even believed you in the first place. Maybe if you didn't go overboard and say you had beaten the entire Brotherhood of Mutants, she'd believe you." Said Pharaoh as he flipped Bobby, causing him to land on his feet, nearly stumbling into Kath, but Pharaoh had grabbed his collar before then.

"Hehe, yeah, Bobby; the lie wasn't really believable at all. I know your strength; I've seen you spar in the danger room before." Commented Kath lightly with a slight smile as she looked at Bobby, who seemed surprised.

"Eh, you didn't believe me? You sure looked like you were." Remarked Bobby with widened eyes as he looked skeptically at Kath.

"I just found your lie funny, so I was paying attention. Sorry." Said Kath with a small, apologetic smile, causing Bobby to sigh in defeat.

"Anyways, nice meeting you, Kath, but I've got some things to do; see ya later. Bobby, stop trying to take my feats for yourself." Remarked Pharaoh lightly as he waved his hand and walked away, though while doing so, he intently eyed Bobby, and continued to do so until he disappeared behind a corner.

"So, did Pharaoh really defeat the Brotherhood of Mutants and acquire a number from the White Queen?" Asked Kath as she waved at Pharaoh before curiously looking at Bobby, who nodded his head.

"Yeah, I'll tell you about it."

Leaving those two to their own devices, I walked down the dorm hall and approached a door that looked like it was the gateway to another dimension, and a terrible one at that. Standing before the door, I looked inside and saw Eloise mumbling to herself while scribbling on a notebook, drawing what looked to be a weird creature.

'Do I really want to go in there?' Mused Pharaoh hesitantly, though he bit the bullet and knocked on the door.

You can't be mad at Bobby; shooters gonna shoot, and he was shooting from hella far, too far outside his comfortable range. Though, y'all see that below? Pharaoh lost his V-card! Who was it with? How about y'all guess?
