Jean and I talked for several more minutes, and while we were doing that, I heard Jarlone's friend, Cassidy, enter the maze; about a minute later, she'd arrived just before the dirt entrance, prompting me to sit up and look at the water bed. Entering first was Jarlone, jumping into the hole and falling on the waterbed; following him was a young woman who seemed to be just around his age, wearing black skinny jeans, a white T-shirt with a black cardigan, and some white and black shoes; she was pretty tall, about the same height as Jarlone, had white hair, and blue eyes.
She had the perfect template to be a beautiful woman in the future, but my god, was she fucking skinny; although she was wearing skinny jeans, no one would think so with how baggy they were on her. She was so thin that I was actually a little worried about her health; if anything, she looked like she was about to drop dead from starving, and if that didn't happen, she'd get blown away by a light gust of wind.
"Eh, is she okay?" Asked Jean in slight worry as she looked at Cassidy speaking with Jarlone before glancing at Tut, who was just as confused as her.
"I've got no idea, though she's probably fine, but she needs to eat a sandwich or two, preferably three." Remarked Pharaoh with a shrug of his shoulders as he stood and helped Jean stand up before dusting his back.
Jarlone and Cassidy talked for about a minute, and while doing so, she glanced at me a few times; when they finished speaking, they both headed over to Jean and I.
"Yo big man, this is Cassidy, the founder of the Immovable object; Cassidy, this is big man, the person who has been lifting all those stones like they're nothing." Said Jarlone as he stood before Pharaoh, introducing him to Cassidy and vice versa; while doing so, she closely observed him.
"I've got some money, you want something to eat? I can get you some food from McDonalds or something." Said Pharaoh as he looked up at Cassidy, though she was unbothered by his words.
"No, I'm good; thanks for the offer, though. The only reason I'm so skinny is because of my mutant ability; I can transfer the weight of anything to another object, but I must use my body as a medium to do so." Replied Cassidy calmly as she leaned closer to Pharaoh and closely inspected him, causing Jean and him to be weirded out.
"Makes sense why those stones were so heavy, but can you take a step back? I'd like some personal space with someone I've just met." Said Pharaoh as he lightly pushed Cassidy, who had just finished observing him, a few feet back.
Just when I was about to ask if I could continue lifting those stones, everybody's favorite ball of energy, Rogue, ran up to Cassidy with a large smile.
"Cassidy! I've finally found someone who can beat your game!" Yelled Rogue excitedly with a smirk as she eyed Cassidy, who merely raised an eyebrow at her provoking words.
"We don't know if he can beat my game; he still has three more stones to move. Though I'm just as eager as you to see someone beat my little game, no one has managed to move the seventh stone, let alone lift it." Remarked Cassidy with a slight smile as she looked at Rogue before glancing at Pharaoh.
"So, can I resume lifting the stones then?" Asked Pharaoh; the nod he received from Cassidy and Jarlone prompted him to head right for the seventh stone.
"Alright, everyone, sorry for the delay, but we're back on track; now, who's excited to see the big man of the day lift all the stones and finally beat this game!?" Exclaimed Jarlone loudly, garnering the attention of everyone as they stopped talking and shouted loudly in excitement.
"Um, Cassidy, you said three more stones to lift, but there are two more left." Said Jean lightly as she looked at Cassidy in confusion, wondering if she had made a mistake, though all she got in response was a slight smirk from her before she focused back on Pharaoh.
Hearing everyone loudly shouting as I approached the seventh stone, I didn't waste any time since I was starting to get a little bored; none of these stones required any effort on my part to lift it, and there wasn't much fun in that, I wanted a challenge, but that clearly didn't seem to be happening. Stabbing my fingers into the stone, I lifted it into the air with just one hand as I'd done previously, and the crowd went wild; despite this ball weighing an enormous amount, it felt like I was lifting a basketball.
"You're not wrong; hearing about it and seeing it for yourself are two completely different things. To think he could lift the seventh stone with seemingly no effort on his part; he's one hell of a mutant." Said Cassidy with a raised eyebrow, surprised at the fact that someone had not only moved but lifted her stone.
"Big man's not a mutant, at least according to him. Yo, big man, that thing weighs 1,000,000 pounds, just so you know." Remarked Jarlone with a nod as he glanced at Cassidy before shifting his focus to Pharaoh, who nodded back.
Even though I'd gently set the million-pound stone back into the divot, the entire area slightly trembled; removing my legs from the several-inch deep hole they made, I internally thanked myself that I was smart enough to take off my shoes, which definitely would've gotten damaged.
"Cassidy, I'm curious; you made a stone that weighs 1,000,000 pounds, so who the hell did you think was going to be able to move this?" Asked Pharaoh in confusion and curiosity as he eyed Cassidy while walking to the eight stone.
"Good question, and none; when I made the seventh stone, I didn't think anyone would ever be able to move it, let alone lift it. However, I wished to make an Immovable object, which means nothing must be able to move it; whether it be human or machine, I wanted it to never move from its original spot." Declared Cassidy passionately with a nod as she looked at the dirt wall that was concealing the tenth and final stone.
"Cool, I get that, but what machine can move 1,000,000 pounds?"
"In 1972, December 7, Apollo 17's Saturn V, the last spaceship that ever took humans to the moon, had a maximum thrust force of 8,800,000 pounds. It would've been able to move and even lift up that seventh stone easily, and the same goes for the eighth as well since it's only 8,000,000 pounds." Stated Cassidy seriously, enlightening everyone about a random fact they'll most likely forget, though it did answer Pharaoh's question.
'Well, she's not wrong, or maybe she is, I don't know, but how the hell would you attach a stone to such a powerful rocket?' Thought Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow as he skeptically looked at the eighth stone before shrugging his arms and shaking his head.
'Whatever, it's all theoretical anyway.' Mused Pharaoh as he grabbed the eight stones and lifted them into the air while he sunk more than an entire foot into the ground.
"Dammit, it's not just my shoes I need to worry about, my clothes as well; Jarlone, can't you make this dirt more compact or something?" Muttered Pharaoh in annoyance as he looked at his legs deep in the earth before glancing at Jarlone, who wryly smiled.
"Can't; I've already done so to the best of my ability, though that was 8,000,000 pounds, so what did you expect was going to happen?" Remarked Jarlone, shrugging his shoulders as he looked at Pharaoh, who grunted in annoyance while placing the stone back in its divot.
Pushing off the ground, I leaped into the air and landed on the ground beside the two holes, which were filling rapidly with dirt; looking at Jarlone, I saw his outstretched arm pointing towards me, or more accurately, toward the two holes. Walking to the ninth stone, I looked at it, and I was honestly a little hesitant to lift it up; I'd probably sink all the way to the center of the earth if I did so, but I was already here, so I might as well; besides, all the spectators were shouting my name.
"Pharaoh! Pharaoh! Pharaoh! Pharaoh!" Yelled the spectators enthusiastically, wishing to finally see someone beat the Immovable object.
Glancing at the spectators, I looked over at Jean and saw her and Rogue were both shouting my name; seeing that, I knew I couldn't just stop, so with a sigh, I lay on the ground right beside the stone and lifted it up, hoping the wider surface area will better displace the weight. However, considering the moment I picked it up, I sunk several feet into the ground; I don't think it helped at all, though even from down here, I could hear the crow going utterly mad.
"Hahaha, he did it! He beat the immovable object!"
"I can't believe it; not only did he beat it, he did so by lifting them in the air!"
"You're wrong; we can't call it the immovable object; it's now the moveable object!"
"Insane! How can someone lift something so ridiculously heavy? It doesn't make any sense!"
"Hehe, give my money, Jarlone!" Said Rogue with a victorious grin as she stood before Jarlone, who just sighed and counted the money in his pocket.
"Nice job, Pharaoh." Said Jean with a slight smile as she glanced at the hole he and the ninth stone were in.
