"Heh, you look mad, but you're probably just jealous 'cause you'll never look like Mrs. Rand." Remarked Pharaoh with a grin as he leaned down and spoke into Gwen's ear, prompting her to huff in annoyance.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say; if looking like Mrs. Rand gets all the boy's attention, then I wouldn't ever want to look like her. Also, let go of me." Said Gwen with a shake of her head as she forcefully tried to remove Pharaoh's arm from around her, barely managing to do so.
"Well, that is true; with a body like that, she's definitely getting approached by all kinds of dudes, and I bet it's annoying; probably why she's so strict." Added Tut with a nod as he imagined being Mrs. Rand.
'Is it wrong of me to hope she's a pedophile? Yeah, probably.' Mused Pharaoh with a thoughtful expression before sighing while shaking his head.
"Anyways, I'll see you after school, you perverted brute." Said Gwen lightly as she playfully punched Tut before walking away, turning in the opposite direction of where Pharaoh was heading.
"It's not perverted if everyone else was doing the same thing; just saying!" Yelled Pharaoh from the crowded hallway as he watched Gwen walk off.
Seeing Gwen disappear into the crowd of students, I shook my head and headed to sixth period, which I unfortunately had no one with; actually, I had no one in both sixth and seventh periods. I will admit my friend group is relatively small, but you can't really blame me; you know how hard it is for me to befriend normal children. It's actually not that difficult, but that's only if I want to behave like a stupid little kid, which I'll admit, I do indeed do that sometimes, but it's very rare.
Finding my class, I entered and sat down at a random seat in the back and patiently waited for class to start; once the bell rang, our teacher, who was sitting at her desk, stood up and closed the door before standing in front of the whole class.
"My name is Mrs. Alhamer, and yes, before you ask, I am Muslim, and no, I'm not related to 9/11; I was born here in the States." Said Mrs. Alhamer with a somewhat exhausted expression as she looked at the several students.
"Haa, no one is making jokes, better than last class." Muttered Mrs Alhamer quietly as she sighed to herself and started to call attendance.
'Since she brought up the topic of 9/11, I wonder, could I have stopped them?' Thought Pharaoh with a thoughtful expression while sitting down, waiting for his name to be called.
Obviously, I could've easily stopped them; I'm just curious if I could've done it without anyone noticing me, which I probably couldn't; an airplane is just too crowded, and there is no way I could get to the cockpit undetected. Believe it or not, but my Mom had gone on a business trip on the tenth, the day before it happened; it is honestly a little scary even now when I think about it. If her business trip had been delayed for some reason, and she needed to take a plane leaving on the eleventh, what if she was in one of the four planes that ended up crashing?
(Note: Two crashed into the Twin Towers, one into the Pentagon, I believe, and the last one crashed into an empty field)
"Haa, I would've destroyed the terrorist organization myself if it really happened." Muttered Pharaoh with a frown while resting his head on his arm, which was propped up on his desk.
Honestly, I had no idea what was happening in this close other than responding to my name being called; I was mostly daydreaming about random things. I only reacted when the bell rang, snapping me out of my trance.
'Damn, sixth period is already over? It's only been like fifteen minutes.' Thought Pharaoh as he looked around, noticing everyone already heading toward the exit, while he also quickly did the same.
Exiting the classroom, feeling rather good as school was almost over, I headed straight to my seventh period, completely forgetting that I had Language Arts, and the teacher so happened to be the same as Jean's. Entering the classroom, the instant I did so, I spotted an older lady with white and black hair yelling at a kid with her rough voice; I couldn't even make it to my seat before she looked over at me.
"You! Young man, what do you think you're doing!" Said the older woman as she turned and eyed Pharaoh, who looked around in confusion.
"Who, me?" Asked Pharaoh as he tilted his head in confusion, trying to figure out what he did wrong.
"Yes, you! What do you think you're doing; no backpacks in my classroom!" Stated the older woman as she approached Pharaoh while glaring at him and pointing at his backpack.
"Okay, relax; how was I supposed to know? None of the previous teachers ever mentioned that." Replied Pharaoh with a sigh of annoyance as he backed away and turned around, leaving the classroom.
"If I see you with a backpack again, I'm calling your parents!" Said the older woman in a nasally voice as she eyed Pharaoh before shifting her attention and yelling at another student that had just walked in.
'Yep, Jean was right, she's 100% a Bitch.' Thought Pharaoh with an annoyed expression as he walked around the halls looking for his locker to store his backpack in.
Once I finally found my locker, I opened it, though since I hadn't looked at the password, I used my ears to hear for a click whenever it passed over the correct number. Storing my backpack in the half-locker, I closed it and walked back to my classes, only to see our teacher standing right by the door; however, right when I was about to enter, the bell rang, prompting her to slam the door shut while looking at me through the window.
"You're late! Go to the front office and get a pass!" Said the older woman, looking at Pharaoh before walking away, though she made sure to lock the door so he couldn't enter.
"This motherfucking bitch; does she think locking the door will stop me?" Muttered Pharaoh in slight annoyance as he grabbed the door handle and lightly squeezed it, causing it to deform under his powerful strength before accidentally breaking it off.
"Haa, whatever, I'm not doing this; I'm leaving." Said Pharaoh as he took a breath to calm himself before walking away with the broken door handle in his hand.
Should I be skipping class? No, I shouldn't, though my tolerance was relatively low for people who were being a bitch just to be one, especially when the person in question was stupider than you. I know for a fact I understand English better than her; when you can hear several million people speaking English directly in your ear, your understanding of the language increases dramatically.
Hell, I even know a few other languages: Japanese, Italian, Mandarin, and Spanish. Those are just a few languages I'm fluent in; I can speak over ten other languages, but I'm just not fluent in them. Having super intelligence and hearing is far more powerful than you'd expect; besides Japanese, which I learned from my Mom, everything else I learned by myself, and that was all during summer break.
Shaking my head, I grabbed my backpack from my locker and started walking around the halls for the remainder of the school day; once the bell rang, signifying the end of the day, I let out a sigh of relief as I headed toward the back of the building where the busses were parked.
Leaving the school, I found my bus and entered it while greeting the bus driver with a nod; heading to the middle of the bus, I sat down and waited for Jean and Sara to arrive, which only took about a few minutes.
"Hey, Tut, how was your first day of middle school? I heard from Jean you also had Mrs. Sakerson." Asked Sara with a small smile as she sat down next to Tut, forcing him to scoot closer to the window.
"It was mostly fine, and Mrs. Sakerson, tch, she's one whole as bitch. I skipped her class and didn't even spend more than a minute in there." Replied Pharaoh with a shake of his head as he folded his arms and grunted in annoyance, causing Sara to chuckle.
"Hehe, trust me, I feel your pain. I also had Mrs. Sakerson; she's commonly referred to as the bitchiest teacher among us high schoolers. Though I'm surprised you actually skipped class, couldn't you wait until tomorrow at the very least?" Remarked Sara with a slight frown before shaking her head and smiling once more while lightly shaking Tut.
"Nope, she was annoying; I even accidentally broke off the door handle." Said Tut as he shook his head and handed Sara a small metal ball.
"This was the door handle? It's nothing but a small ball." Said Sara skeptically as she eyed the small metal ball in her hands.
"Yeap; I crushed into a ball, no evidence. I mean, besides you, who will ever think that tiny metal ball was previously a door handle?" Replied Pharaoh with a slight smirk as he looked up at Sara, who nodded in response.
"True."
"Also, did Jean tell you about that Pedophile, Mr. Capsley?" Asked Tut curiously, earning him a disgusted expression from Sara.
"Yeah, it was one of the first things she told me; is it true?" Questioned Sara in revulsion as she subconsciously shivered.
"Heh, I heard them going to town in the bathroom; should've been there; sounded like they were having a good time." Remarked Tut with a mischievous smirk while playfully elbowing Sara.
"Why didn't you stop them?" Asked Sara curiously with a slight frown while looking at Tut.
"Stop them? It wasn't worth it, in my opinion; I wasn't about to possibly reveal myself to the superpowered world over a man and a girl fucking; especially since it sounded like both were enjoying it. I don't see myself as a Hero." Replied Pharaoh with a raised eyebrow while shaking his head.
"You're my hero." Muttered Sara subconsciously, only for her cheeks to take on a crimson hue as she awkwardly looked away.
