With this quest, Talia decided that training them was more than worth it, as that was over 50 levels just to train a couple of kids in some rather basic powers. None of the powers themselves were complicated to use, nor were they hard to teach, all it really took was a bit of help on Talia's end and that was it.
Currently she stood across from the two teens, watching as Jordan grunted as he lifted a large rock over head, one that Talia had specially made for their training. It would increase in weight the longer it was held, until it could no longer be held and was dropped to the ground. It had various runes on it that stopped any damage from being caused when it was inevitably dropped.
She had made it not only for the twins, but also for herself and Kara as a way of training their strength, so that they could start to increase their limits, and overcome their old ones. Thanks to her abilities involving evolution and adaptation, she'd be able to rapidly increase that strength.
The limit on the rock itself is over a few billion tons, something that took a shit ton of runes that were complicated as hell. Mostly because of the effects it could have on Earth, had she not put the proper precautions in place.
It was the second day of their training, with the first mostly being spent watching Jordan show off his current limits, with Talia getting a good idea of Jordan's progress so far, she sat watching as the teen grunted, sweat trickled down his face as the rock got heavier and heavier, before eventually...*Boom* it dropped to the ground with a loud boom.
"Hmm, seems your limit is a few dozen tons, not bad for a start" Talia said with a nod, slightly impressed with the strength of the teen. It was nothing in comparison to someone like her, Clark, or Kara, but it was still pretty impressive for someone his age. Especially for someone who had only just begun to learn how to properly use his powers, powers that had only awoken not even a year ago.
Panting, Jordan replied "Thanks, i-is there anything more I need to show?"
"Hmm, not for now, no. Your strength, speed, and senses are all rather good, but your control certainly needs work. No, now it's time for Jonathan to get his powers" Talia responded with a shake of her head, before turning to Jonathan, who's eyes were slightly widened in surprise.
"Wait what? We're doing that right now?" Jonathan asked, surprised and sort of caught off guard. As he thought it would be a couple of weeks at least before he would gain his powers.
"Yep, the sooner the better. Your powers are based off of the sun, so, the sooner you unlock the genetic power within you, the sooner you'll begin to grow in power" Talia replied, before walking up to Jonathan.
"Just take in a deep breath, alright? This will be either painful or very comforting, hopefully the latter" Talia said, and before Jonathan could even react, he gasped as golden energy poured from Talia and slammed into him, and as it did, his eyes began to glow a deep red color, as he groaned, new senses becoming clear to him, and thousands of voices filled his head, as he began to hear all over the world.
Seeing the pain he was in, Talia calmly spoke "Jonathan, focus on one singular sound, not all of them. Block them out, and focus on one. Your heartbeat, the sounds of the tree's ruffling, anything" Talia spoke, knowing that the new hearing would become a bit annoying, but she trusted in the kid to get it under control quickly.
Low and behold, he did, as a notification appeared in front of her.
[Hidden Quest Complete!]
Awakening of a Kryptonian
Details - Awaken the Kryptonian genes in Jonathan, earlier than in canon. Due to the influence of a Sun God, his Kryptonian genetics are even stronger than normal Kryptonians. Jordan shall also undergo this change, due to being in the vicinity.
Rewards - 10 levels
[Skill 5 - Appreciation of Swords (A Rank): A skill similar yet different to Appreciation of the Arts. Comprehension related to armament. With just one glance, the user can grasp how to confront ordinary weapons that aren't Noble Phantasms]
Ignoring the new skill as it was cemented within her very being, Talia watched as Jonathan slowly regained control over his senses, as he let out a sigh, the pain in his ears slowly disappearing.
"Good. Controlling your sense of hearing is the first step to having complete control over all your new senses" Talia said with a small, but pleased smile.
Letting out a sigh as the pain stopped, Jonathan clenched his fist with a smile "Thanks teach, now...can I test out my new powers?"
"Hmm, sure. We'll have to see if you can use them all, but I suspect that you'll be able to. Let's start with super strength" Talia spoke, as they began to train once again.

"Alright, that'll be enough for today, you two" Talia said, looking at the panting sweat soaked teens as they sat on their butts on the ground, exhausted from the hours of training, which included all sorts of exercises, from strength, speed, heat vision, ro super breath related ones.
It was during this training that Talia had noticed the look that Jordan had given his brother, a look that screamed annoyance, which Talia suspected was due to his brother mastering his powers faster than him. Jonathan had a genuinely impressive amount of control over his power, more than Jordan for sure, and that seemed to make Jordan either annoyed, or jealous, or perhaps both. Either way, Talia decided she'd need to talk with Lois and Clark about that little piece of information.
After a few minutes of calming down, the two looked at Talia with smiles on their faces "Thanks Talia!" "Have a good day" Jonathan and Jordan spoke, before they flew off with a soft boom, leaving Talia there, eyebrow twitching as she looked at the plants they had destroyed, with one thought on her mind.
'...I am so making them harvest the entire farm after that'

That's the end of the chapter!
Basically a chapter for training the twins and that was about it. Next chapter might have some talks with Lois or it might be some farm shenanigans, or maybe her first adventure into the dungeon? Not sure to be honest.
Anyways, have a good day!
