Karasu was standing over the bloodied woman cuffed to the concrete wall. Her demon was restrained several meters away, far enough that both it and its Contractor weren't a danger to anyone.
"Karasu," Shin called out. "Forget this for now. It looks like Emiko's companions came to save her. You will help me fight."
The raven-headed demon shook the blood off his fingers and bowed his head. "Yes, master. What about the woman?"
'We don't need her anymore, boss. We should kill her and feed her to the rats.' Tetsu suggested.
Shin shook his head. In this fight, he felt the need to use every advantage he had at his disposal, and he just had an idea.
"She will be our hostage. We will keep her demon here for safety, but move her outside. Karasu, Tetsu, do that for me."
