Kaneda wiped the blood off his face with a sleeve and frowned, looking around.
"Ara-san acted before the Watcher could warn anyone, but this blast must've been heard by someone. So, I guess…"
Jun shook her head. She had been prepared for the demon to explode after being hit by lightning, so had time to protect her face with an elbow, and was marginally cleaner than the others.
"If we are lucky enough, other demons didn't hear. And all the blood on us belongs to a Watcher—its smell won't make demons think anything is wrong. It will just mask us better."
"Wait, you tell now that we SHOULDN'T wash off this shit, Ara-chan?" Masanori asked in disbelief.
She glared at him. "I didn't give you permission to be so familiar with me! Remember that already!" Jun spat before sharply turning away. She had to keep herself together, despite all the stress.
