"Is that all? You don't have a food problem because of the lack of shops? Local monsters—besides demons—don't attack you?"
In response, Sako—the one to whom Shin addressed his last question—shook his head negatively.
"We only saw a few monsters earlier… But with demons they were easy to deal with. As for the food, there are factories making it, too. We have a lifetime of canned vegetables of all kinds," he said. "This factory, actually, was producing instant ramen."
"Really?" Tetsu piped in, leaning forward—and subsequently pressing her chest into the back of Shin's head. It was soft even through her armor, and the red gem emitted living warmth. "Wait, did that mean all those powders in those bags and packets that we destroyed was?.. Actually, what ramen is made of? That's all food, right?"
"Flour, spices, and so on," Sako replied to both questions at once.
Tetsu giggled. "Food… dying among food. Isn't that funny?"
