Almost like she was someone that he had already loved before ーstrange feelings of nostalgia began to surpass him and his emotional aspects, mostly, he couldn't really understand the kinds of emotions that was coming for him. And it was all just in the apathy that oppose these feelings of what falling into the broken bridges of love can bring, he knew that it wasn't feeling that common. At this moment Drew felt disturbingly exposed to vulnerability; threatened by the consequences of inexperience - and most often it is perceived that a divine being would see through this. But something was also off, how he felt was almost unfitting into the feasibly damaged reality of his. He did not know who she was yet a certain sense of familiarity surrounded his thoughts for recognition, like a distant memory that prolonged deep inside his own understanding of love. He always perceived that love concerns romance, and romance is acquired from tendencies to bring passionate inhibitions to one - love, it requires romance and romance, requires passion. He was a big fan of romantic novels and movies yet he never really tried it for himself ーlimited by the boundaries that constrain his ability to explore the area of 'life' itself.
"Well if you don't mind me asking…Pray! I would just like to have a little bit of an insider of what makes me a part of this death trap that i know nothing about." He said this curiously and more dramatically this time and then grabbed the luminous attire.
"You ask too many questions Drew, only, I'm not in a position to give you any explanations as my the meridians in my energy forbids me to.
Drew suddenly started to undress himself like a man, right there, in front of the angel, because going into the corner would make him seem like a girl and he didn't want to give her such an impression. He then smirked at Edith like agreeing mutually with a nod that this is what he's going to do. To this, Edith exclaimed "Oh dear, my apologies." and turned around.
A golden suit, with a cape that supports movements on air, this suit wasn't made from thick fabric but intact the opposite, the fabric was floaty yet heavy and made from a very refined rare synthetic component.
"There! i wore it. " Drew exclaimed.
Edith turned around "This uniform was custom made by the hands of the best artisan, he was an ascended human creator, a creator and designer of attires and even a fellow advisory at architectural alignments." She smiled with joy as the celestic fragments of orbs floated around her aura.
"You must be very ecstatic to have your hands at such a profound invention, one like this suit." Edith suddenly felt impatient; like succumbing to the dreadful transcendence of 'time' she has to bear, but at point nowhere, a realm in the midst of Earth, Hell and most likely heaven too. A temporal unsanctified quantum plane. '
"Why, it is indeed very magnificent and remarkable especially the quality." He paused
And continued again "I'm sorry you're the one that said we don't have too much time here as I reach the trails of my unbound death and all I wanted was to know who I am and why you'd do all this for me." He sighed at sheer state of helplessness and he was sure that there was in fact no direction that he needed to head to but this one, as he already attempted stopping time a couple of times and only found artificially integrated reality frontiers only to find cul de sacs inside it.
Edith was calm yet her hand would sometimes touch the side of her forehead to express her own distress and in it was the inability to explain things to him. She remained silent for a moment and hovered around the plane as though she were contemplating a little bit, and the light of her aura and her staff guided her path.
"Wait! All these things you're saying are not quite adding up to common sense. And this Holy realm which you keep speaking of, Either, it exists OR you're trying to trick me into a selfish agenda for your own personal gains and I'm stuck in between these two polarized voices inside my head." His tone increased in response to this conundrum inside his mind and his voice trembled in the frequency of a temperamental level of anger but he wasn't angry. Suddenly he saw the way Edith's eyes glistened from fear of the anger of earthly men. He retorted himself.
"I'm just very dazzled yes by all this very pressurizing and tempting super natural disclosure but, also dazzled in a dreadful way and Im stressed and I can't put my trust in everything that comes my way that's what I read in a note from my future self, so maybe, it's what my heart tells me. I'm sorry if you feel like I'm stressing your angelic meridians out." He said to her now subtly as he didn't want to make a benevolent soul deliver mystical sadness by his mild hints of rejections.
Maybe there were intact many things revolving around Drew's mind and this made him want to react apprehensively with cautious steps. Which for the most, clouded his judgements about the celestial realms and the quantum planes. So the senses of apathy slowly started to click around again in the corners of his mind, despite her beautiful and much unreal composure and the attraction he felt towards her.
"I did not expect such sullen and depressing behavior from you and instead I expected you to be knowing and considerate about the reason for my presence here. You have to learn yet that not everything that happens is constructed by a design that was predestined in the ways of the humans. You may not feel the same way at this time because I collect that you are alone, scared and puzzled like a state of delirium. But it is not, you only have to put your luck on the coin in a well and trust my arrival here." Edith said while she looked at her nails to distract the attention from him, she was trying to recollect something…
"You have to realize that I'm not just an illusion, Drew. Before I got here I did pertain towards the risks of enormous sacrifices. Me, I could soon forget the memory of Love and that is the sacrifice that I shall bear if things go tumbling into the absurd way of humanities doom. And mere human will never be able to stand still and understand this and, for me, it would be too vain to explain to you why…" and while her eyes were still fixated at him, she continued.
"Whatever you mean to ask me, I know that there's time later on to do that, therefore I pledge that we remain focused on our only direction. I am the only one here to direct you and help you finding your path, look around you Drew, there's nobody else here. Or I could leave you here and you would be stuck on this path leaving you with no choice but to lead a journey into the ethereal and lower realms of Hell." She sighed
"So tell me what you want because my time has come to departure from here and so will yours if you come with me." She sympathetically smiled at him and following the awkward silence for a good long min, Edith looked at Drews golden suit that now started to glimmer in flickering light, she pointed her staff at it and with a binding magic she binded a chord from her abdomen to the chakra of Drew's heart, a golden one. She binded a translucent chord to her meridian. This inter-connected Drew to Edith in not just the physical way but the spiritual way , Drew was struck with the shivers of warm and divine energy into his spines and the vitals of his body parts, the omniscient powers that was able to captivate the feeling of purity petrified him for a certain sudden moment.
"Are you okay, haha." She chuckled at the sight of Drew's strange expressions.
Without further notice and with much haste, the angel Edith, wavered her staff in front of them and a portal was invoked in hindsight. The color of brightness that emerged from this portal contrasted with this dark plane of holographic emptiness and the ability to visibly witness such opposing grandiosity of differences, existing in front of him, in their own element, surely was a purely prestigious sight to see.
Drew was back in his senses and muttered. "So you really are an angel and not an illusion at all." He reassured to himself and filled the atmosphere with humor.
"Have you no compassion or faith towards anything that can do-exist with you inside a much holy sphere? it's no wonder Father and other Gods have recently disregarded the humans of Earth. Have the orbs and the presence of my wings not convinced you enough to prove to you enough that I am a child of the heavens and doesn't it justify to you where I must belong." Drew pondered and watched her almost famished and too indifferent to explain further. He suddenly started to feel yet another strong sense of love and affection for her and it was different and unconditional. Realizing that deeper within humans on earth had always had faith and worshipped them in several sacramental ways.
"Thats not exactly what I meant, your grace. Maybe I was slightly overwhelmed by my disbelief and I did not want to conform at first which I think must have come from personal denial, insecurities and arrogance which may not exist in your reality. We all have them though. An angel descended here just to help me get up from rock bottom and quite surprisingly that is something that is most typically bound to happen. Anyone would think that they've gone mad too. I have to be honest, your forcefield of energy is really magnetic and it's sending vibrations to my bodily chakras. I want to understand this magnetic field because it's attracting me and my energies towards you and that's something I can feel now that we're connected by this omniscient chord." Drew said to Edith as he felt fueled with energy and it alarmed certain levels of his chakras since he was still only a human in this realm.
