The morning birds sing their morning, melodious songs and Audrey covers herself with the blanket and she feels she has resisted herself from the morning sun but she has to turn her back to the sun rays because they keep glowing brightly.
She ended up sleeping thinking she would continue the dreadful dream she had last night that had seemed so real. She could not place her finger on what the dream had tried to depict. She was having a deep sleep without the dream coming back.
" Audrey, Audrey, Audrey!!!! " Mrs. Naomi called out to Audrey who was peacefully asleep for the second time that morningand her mother had tried calling her for the third time that morning. "What in the world is wrong with this girl?" She says angrily as she reaches Audrey's door. She shouted angrily as she opens the door "Audrey Wilson. Wake up, do you have any idea of the time right now?"
Audrey who just heard her mother's voice woke up with a jolt because of two main things; the first one is she did not understand what had just happened a while ago when she felt like she was in the forest with the fact that the dream did not come back after her second deep sleep that morning and the second reason was that she had to answer her mother who must have been so tensed that she did not respond to her calls since morning.
She got up with the face of a stressed lady. Her mother was angry that she was going to be late to shop and today is going to be a strenuous today because it is a Saturday. "Mum, good morning. I am sorry for not answering you on time. I was really stressed from yesterday's sales." During that apology, Mrs.Naomi smiled a bit and tried to understand her daughter that sleeping till that time was not her daughter's fault because they had walked late yesterday and she made that simple and sincere apology to cool her down and she knew that she had to explain what had really happened that made her come upstairs to call Audrey down by 20 minutes to 8. She was also sorry too and she felt the need to apologize to her darling and ever understanding daughter who had cared for her and had known her more as the years go by.
Mrs. Noami said that she is sorry for waking her up at that time due to yesterday's stress but they have to leave to earn more money for their survival at their coffee shop.
Audrey loved her parents and she did not see any valid reason for her Dad to request for a divorce. She missed her twin brother, Alexander Wilson. He was forced to leave her and follow Dad. She had prayed last night that she should be given the opportunity to go to River Mystery where she would be given a path that would come true, though she heard stories about the paths not being what they had actually wanted. She wanted to make the right choice and make her family happy just the way they were before and most importantly she wants her twin to be with her again.
Her mother hugged her and told her that everything will be alright and that she should try to be a good girl for her. She was encouraged by that sentence and she told her Mum that she will ensure she will be a good girl for her and her family.
Mrs. Naomi told her daughter that when they get back from the Coffee Shop, they will have more time for their usual gist. She told her to dress up and prepare so they will be able to come back on time.
As her mother left the room, Audrey was so tensed. It just dawned on her that she had had a terrible dream and she have not still figured out the meaning. She prepared her dress and everything but she was fixated on picking a dress of out the two that she had laid out to wear.
She dressed up on time and met her mother downstairs. She felt safe around her mother than when she was alone in the room a few minutes ago. Suddenly, somebody called and she was close to her mum's phone so she had to bring it.
Her mother asked her who the Caller ID is and she was so tensed to see a name that had barely left her mind "AUNT VANESSA". She could not say anything and was frozen at some point. She was completely lost in her thoughts that all her mother's call was not even getting to her.
Why was it so hard to get rid of the dream and why does it feel so unreal to tell her mother about the dream that sounds and looks like a mystery?
