With every second that she tried to get up, her body became more frail making it hard for her to support herself. Giving up the idea of standing up, she lifted her eyes and at first, she looked at the former prince who was now gleefully looking at her. Turning her gaze away, her eyes met with the other person.
The second face was new to her whereby the man looked much older than Wilson and with the colour of his eyes, she could tell that he was not a human.
"So you also want to sacrifice me."
She stated. The calmness in her voice was something to be admired whereby there was no hint of fear in those brown eyes.
"I would have said yes, but no dear." Wilson replied and then continued,
"At first, I thought that we needed your soul for this but good news is that your blood is enough to do the trick. After we get what we want, I will now serve you the same dish that you served me."
