"I am really offended by your words brother. I have spent like..,"
He trailed as if he was internally counting the lost years and then continued,
"Like eternity alone and when I find out that my brother is nearby, he wants to have me dead?!"
He asked. Disappointment laced on his words but behind that veil of pretense, there was in untold truth. During his life as a child, Edward had always wondered how life would be if he actually had a sibling but he was all grown now. All that hollowness had left him.
"I would have said the same thing if I cared." Once Richard said those words, he started to walk out of the room and Edward who was in the mood to annoy people followed him.
As the time of supper had arrived, they met a servant who was going to the study room to inform the king about the dinner and with a bow, the servant did not hesitate to inform the king. "Alright. I will be there."
With a wave of his hand, the servant walked away.
