"Yes. Which is why you should leave." Came her response. One of his hand was playing with her hair as he continued to admire her. She was resisting yet she was falling.
"For someone who claims to be good, you are quite heartless. I was expecting to get comfort from you after pouring out my heart to you but this is what I get?" He stated while feigning disappointment. The hand that was playing with her hair came to settle back on his side. Just like many other times when she could not keep up with his gaze, she looked the other way.
"You don't look like someone who needs comfort." Richard could not agree less to her words. Comfort was for the weak and he was not that. She had said that because she knew that her words might get twisted and in the end, something would happen between them.
"How does a person who needs comfort look like?"
"I don't know." At her reply, she brought the blanket up so that it could cover her whole body apart from her head.
