The moment she had finished conversing with her father, princess Lilith headed back to her room. She had expected to find the room empty but to her surprise, she found Mandy who was busy folding her clothes.
Just by the look, she could tell that Mandy was not alright and while one part of her heart told her not to ask, the other told her to check up on her. Maybe she had some reason behind what she did and princess Lilith was not the kind to jump into conclusions.
"Mandy, you do not look okay." She stated while walking over to where her maid busied herself with princess' washed corset. For an uncountable seconds, there was a comfortable silence before Mandy finally spoke up. "No I'm not." She said while turning to face the princess and some fresh tears flowed from her eyes.
"He promised that he would not hurt my sister but... he did." Wiping the tears that continued to flow in her already red cheeks, more tears came out.
