Killian walked out of the principal's office. On the other hand, Violet was waiting for him, anticipating the result.
"How was it?" Violet asked, her eyes showing concern.
Killian smirked and raised both of his hands. "Yeah, she said she would approve it."
"That's good to hear," Violet said, smiling sweetly. "That means the costumes your booth will be using are rented high-noble clothes. That would be a huge upgrade."
"It is," Killian said. "Thank you for your help, Miss Violet. I'll go tell them about the good news now," he said, and he started walking away.
"Wait, Killian," Violet called.
Killian looked back and found her playing with her thumb. She remained silent for a few seconds, seemingly contemplating the next words coming out of her mouth.
"What is it, Miss Violet?" Killian asked gently. His facial features softened as he waited for her next words.
