Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Special Friend

"Killian!" Finel shouted as she approached Killian, who was lying on the stone floor. She immediately checked on him. "Are you hurt? Did your body hit on something badly?"

"Nah, I am fine," Killian said, smiling. "But I think I hurt my throat by screaming loudly." He chuckled.

"You really still have time to joke around. I was worried about you." Finel held Killian's hands. "How did you survive that fall?"

"It actually happened so fast; I was falling, and the next thing I knew, I was here—and some edgy guy with an audible, very bad issue of superiority complex saved me," Killian said, sitting.

"That man you are talking about is Zero, the legendary mage," Finel said, smiling. "He saved me too."

"Yeah, I saw him go in the direction you came from." Killian looked towards the area where Finel came out.

"Zero saved me; he killed them—Zimf and his group. However, he threatened me that he would come for us if one of us talked about this," Finel said. "So, if you don't want that to happen, I would recommend not talking about it to anyone—ever."

"That's a very profound threat," Killian said as he stood up. "Anyway, let's get out of here."

"Wait, Killian, I can't go while wearing this," Finel said, talking about her sliced clothes and showing her torso.

Killian put his hand on his chin. "You are right," he said, immediately removing his blazer and tunic, revealing his chiseled chest and abs. "Wear this," Killian said, handing Finel his tunic clothes.

But Finel didn't reply; her eyes were nailed on the eye-catching image of Killian's torso in front of her. Her jaw dropped.

"Is there a problem, Finel?" Killian asked, his eyebrows furrowing.

Finel's face turned red as she looked away. "I am very sorry." She slowly raised her head, looking directly into Killian's eyes. "I just didn't expect that a healer like you would have such an impressive physique. Your muscle tone is better than many of the warriors of our guild."

Killian just scoffed. "Wear that. I'll go ahead; just follow after me when you are done," he said as he walked away while wearing his blazer to cover his torso.

Killian left Finel behind, wearing his clothes. Finel was left looking at her body covered by Killian's tunic; he could not help but take one sniff at it.

"This is Killian's smell," Finel commented while savoring the smell on the clothes. Her body immediately underwent huge changes, getting heated by Killian's smell alone. "I feel... strangely... hot," she said as her face turned redder.

Killian and Finel traveled out of the dungeon and back to the capital. They submitted their materials and received their rewards. Both of them acted like nothing happened—it was easy for adventurers because deaths were a normal phenomenon in their line of work.

Someone's death was just someone's brief thought.

Finel wearing Killian's tunic also got eyes looking at them; girls looked at Finel with envy, while boys looked at Killian with jealousy.

The sun was already descending when Killian and Finel walked out of the guild.

"Are you going home already?" Finel asked.

"I am just going to eat in a restaurant near here and then go back to my inn to take a rest. It's been a long and tiring day—I literally almost died," Killian said, his eyes on the road.

Finel walked on Killian's side, her hands on her back, while leaning closer to him. Pronouncing her beautifully endowed chest. And the fact that they were covered by Killian's clothes made them more appealing in his eyes.

"I know a good restaurant around here. We can go and eat." A meaningful smile emerged from her lips. "And maybe after eating, we can go talk some more in your place. What do you think?"

Killian observed her unusual breathing; he knew exactly what was happening and what the effect of his clothes was on Finel's system.

Hidden inside Finel's joyful smile was the overwhelming desire slowly overtaking her. The aphrodisiac effect of Killian's scent was so strong that being with Killian tonight was the only thing running through Finel's mind.

"Sure. Let's do that," Killian casually answered.

Finel happily bounced on her feet, her beautiful image moving around Killian—extreme excitement was visible in her eyes.

Killian slowly exhaled while watching Finel. After that, they ate in a restaurant, had some drinks while telling stories, then went back to Killian's inn.

Killian opened the door of his room, guiding Finel inside. "You are not drunk at all. You have a very high alcohol tolerance, I see."

"It's because of my friends; that's why I am like this. Those women are chugging gallons of booze per night." Finel entered the room and looked around. "So this is your room. Is this where you and your lover, the cat girl, are hanging out?"

"We are not lovers. Like I said earlier, we are not in that kind of relationship," Killian said as he sat on the bed.

"Then, what relationship do you two have?" Finel asked as she climbed on the bed, sitting on Killian's lap. Her chest was rising and falling, her hot breath reaching him, while her longing eyes focused on his.

"We are each other's friends. A very special kind of friend," Killian replied, looking directly into Finel's eyes.

"Can I be your special kind of friend too?" Finel asked, her hands slipping into Killian's blazer, rubbing her hands on his abs.

"I didn't expect a cheerful girl like you to be this aggressive," Killian said. "We should take a bath; we had a very tiring day."

Finel buried her face in Killian's neck. "I waited long enough. I can't take it anymore," Finel begged, her heat reaching Killian's body.

Killian grabbed Finel's hips, pulling her middle part towards him. Finel immediately felt the bulge growing hard beneath her.

Killian leaned on her ears. "I feel the same way. So why not let's do it inside the bathroom?" He faced Finel, showing the desire in his eyes—eager to take her for him to enjoy. "My special friend, Finel."
