Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Two Princesses Of Satirica

After two days of clearing the route, the adventurers from the town of Brookhaven had reached the boundary at the outskirts of their town. What waited for them was a caravan of grandiose carriages with knights encircling them. This was the caravan of the escorts of the two princesses.

"I heard the two princesses are two beauties with voluptuous bodies," one of the adventurers said, laughing.

"Say that in front of the knights, and you will go home with only your head," said one of the adventurers, laughing.

On the other hand, Killian kept his silence while walking with the crowd as they approached the caravan.

Two princesses revealed themselves, two beauties with regal auras, their movements filled with grace and authority.

The first princess, Princess Hyuna Satirica, had her black hair clasped, revealing her neck and showing more of her shapes. She was wearing a blue dress that complimented her white skin, the shapes of her hips, and her two massive breasts. At the same time, her thighs were showing in the touch of the sunlight. An alluring smile showed on her as she wandered her blue eyes around the area.

The second princess, Princess Vahili Satirica, had a close resemblance with her older sister, especially with the shapes of their bodies. Her black hair was freely flowing in her back, being swayed by the gentle breeze coming from the forest.

The captain of the knights walked forward. "You are now in the presence of Princess Hyuna and Princess Vahili Satirica. Show your respect."

All at once, all the adventurers kneeled before the two princesses, their heads facing the ground. Showing great respect. Killian, blending with his comrades, did the same while silently observing the two princesses.

Hyuna stepped forward, crossing her arms, making her large chest stick out more. "How was your journey, brave warriors of Satirica?"

The captain of the adventurers raised his head. "It was a perilous one, your highness, but we managed to clear the route. We had hard-fought battles, but it was nothing for the honor of serving your order."

Vahili stepped forward, looking at the adventurers. Her eyes narrowed. "You said you fought hard battles, but it seems your entire crew is unscathed."

The captain of the adventurers raised his head proudly and nodded. "Yes. We fought and received great injuries, but the thing is, we have an exceptional healer in our ranks," he said, and he waved his hand at Killian, who was trying to hide in the crowd of adventurers.

Killian clicked his tongue because, as of now, he had no intention of getting any attention. His eyes narrowed as the attention of Princess Hyuna and Princess Vahili darted on him.

"Rise," Hyuna ordered.

Left with no choice, Killian rose from squatting and approached the two princesses. His movement was slow, while his eyes were on the ground. Upon reaching a certain distance, he kneeled before them.

Thanks to the angle of the noon sun, the two princesses could not see Killian's face, especially now that he was kneeling before them. The trees in the forest began to dance around them.

"I know that discrediting your hard-fought battles is not good manners, but I hope you understand that we show reluctance to believe everything. It is for our safety," Vahili said, looking down at Killian. "Healer, was it a feat that your captain told us the truth?"

Killian nodded. "Yes, your highness, what our captain said was true. Clearing the route to meet you here was perilous. We fought battles day to noon while keeping our eyes open throughout the night."

"And those battles' injuries were healed by you?" Hyuna asked with curiosity.

"Yes, your highness, but it was not that remarkable of a feat. I am just a Class D healer, and we are people of a humble town. The things that impressive to us, may you, people from the capital, find as ordinary things." Killian answered with respect in his tone. "It was all true, but it will be down to whether you will see it as we see it."

A smile emerged from Vahili's face. "Of course, it is all about perspective. I commend your honesty and sharing your point of view."

"Such a lowly adventurer like me doesn't deserve such compliments from the princess," Killian said.

Hyuna and Vahili stared at each other meaningfully.

"Stand up; tell me your name, healer," Hyuna ordered.

Killian slowly stood up, raised his head, and finally faced the two princesses. "My name is Killian Ashler, and I am a Class D adventurer."

Upon seeing his face, the two princesses showed an expression of surprise; their eyes stared focused at Killian's handsome face. They didn't say anything about it, but their facial expressions were already saying more than enough.

"Such a lowly person like me doesn't deserve to stay in your presence; I will take my leave now," Killian said, bowing his head. He turned his back.

"Wait," Vahili called.

Killian stopped and looked back with a gentle smile on his face. "Yes, your highness?"

Vahili hesitated, cleared her throat, and showed a regal expression. "Nevermind. You can go."

Killian nodded and walked towards the farthest part of the crowd of adventurers kneeling before the princesses. Killian shook his head, trying to go as far as possible.

"Princess Hyuna and Vahili ordered; our journey will start now. Let's march into the town of Brookhaven," the captain of the knights ordered.

The adventurers started to move, assuming their roles as the escorts of the caravan of the two princesses.

On the other hand, both Hyuna and Vahili were inside the now slowly moving carriage. However, their eyes were focused outside, searching for Killian, who was intentionally hiding from their sight.

"That healer, such a handsome man," Hyuna said, with an alluring smile on her face.

"Sister, we are in the middle of an important mission. At least try to focus for once," Vahili said, but her eyes were also outside, looking for even a hint of the shadow of the man in their subject.

Hyuna meaningfully smiled. "Having a little fun won't hurt, right?"
