Walking down the empty, lengthy halls was a lot harder now than it used to, the man leading her to the King's private dinning area had been silent through out their walk, she was grateful for the silence. It gave her room to think about ways she could distract the King long enough to slip the contents of that small vial she had stuffed into her chest into the wine goblet of the king without being detected. She released a sigh as she realized the only way she could do so was go with the flow of events until she saw a chance…a chance she hoped she wouldn't miss.
Their walk was about fifteen minutes long, making Victoria wondered just how far was the King's side of the castle was from the common area where the servants and nobles resided. Why was hidden away to the point that in her weeks of stay there, she had never caught sight of him despite her long walks around the ridiculously large building.
