Chapter 2 - Chapter 1

[The plot of this story is around the time of the early 90s

The year 1990 is the present time. not past. ]

"Erica, I still can't believe the fact that it's tomorrow.

It's tomorrow, the day when I'm finally getting to see my Luna again after all these years." Alpha said, with a pair of eyes, excited.

Erica smiled while caressing the back of the Alpha, whom she treats as his own child. "Years??? It's been decades."

This time, the Alpha chuckled pretty disheartenedly. "Yeah, decades. Do I have the right to complain?" It was more of a grief than a question.

"Let's not mourn on the past now. You're going to meet your Luna tomorrow. Get yourself prepared, both mentally and physically. You will have to start a new journey from now onwards. New love, new fights, new struggles, new responsibilities. So, just focus on these, not the past." Erica said.

The Alpha smiled at her words. Then, shrugging off all the stressful or sorrowful thoughts, he went back to that excited state.

"I can't wait already," the male said, looking at the starry sky. The moon today was beautifully glowing. It's a full moon tomorrow, but it seemed like the Moon Goddess was already in merry.

The Alpha smiled heartily at the moon and stayed like that, looking outside the small wooden house.

This house was situated in the middle of a forest. The forest here was the deepest, surrounded by high mountains all around. In the southern part of the forest, there was a river flowing as a partition between the mountain and the forest. The height of the mountain and the density of the forest was so much that if you look at the valley from the top of the mountain, you will never know about the river.

People of the town or the villages situated at the valleys of the mountain never really come this side, as they know this forest was the home of many kind of animals, mostly fierce ones.

The Alpha was seated on a brunch of a tree. Looking at the moon.

"You're also happy and excited like me, aren't you?" He asked, looking at the moon. Then, he smiled himself.

"I'll have to stay alert, right? I don't want to miss anything," he talked, mumbling to himself.

[The next day]

The Alpha was strolling back and forth. He was very nervous, right near the waterfall, glancing at the sky every now and then. Today, the moon was visible at the sky, even in the daylight. It was blur and subtle, though.

"Will you please calm down?" Erica arrived, looking tense. She had a concerned look on her face.

"How can I, Erica? It's already noon, 12:15 pm. When will it happen? Forget about when, I don't even know how it will happen, what will happen. I can't wait anymore. Is it wrong that I'm impatient? Weren't all these decades enough for testing my patience." the Alpha questioned. He had tears in his eyes.

Erica patted the shoulder of the man, saying, "I know what you have been through, I know where these are coming from. But you have to wait for the right time. As you said, we don't know how it will happen, so you have to keep a little bit more patience. Everything will be fine." She said.

Erica left the place, trying her best to calm the tension of their alpha. Right now, the Alpha was seated on the ground, meditating. He thought of calming his nerves down with the help of meditation.

The ground there was cool, little damp as it was near the waterfall, sitting over the damp ground full of soft grasses was sending cooling sensation to the body of the Alpha, the serenity of the place only with the sound of water falling over the rocks, the misty air around was all over healing the nerves of the Alpha.

Suddenly,

A sound, a crashing sound followed by a sound of a blast reverberated all around the valleys of the mountain. Breaking the serenity of the forest underneath.

Interrupted in his meditation, the Alpha shot his eyes open in the direction where the sound came from. No, the density of the forest didn't allow him to find what happened up there in the mountain. But he used his wolf senses. He adjusted his vision using the power of his wolf. The vision penetrated through the dense trees and found its way up there.

Now, he could clearly see what's happening there. It was an accident, a bus and a car collided, the car was crashed by the bus and fell down from the mountain. Whereas the bus was hanging dangerously from the edges of the mountain. He closed his eyes as he knew what the other things were following this. Death, screams, cries, pain, blood food, and so on.

He didn't want to watch more. He tried to focus back on his meditation. But as soon as he closed his eyes, another interpretation happened.

This time, a splash. A splashing sound, not just sound, he opened his eyes and found it happening in front of his eyes. A figure, a figure, fell into the river.

It didn't take the Alpha much of a time to get the fact that it could be one of the people from the accident. The flow of the river was very fierce. The figure would have flown away, but........

The Alpha was fast in his instincts. He ran at a speed like electricity and jumped straight into the water. Fighting with the flow of the river was easy for him. He did so. Then, clutched the wrist of the person as soon as he got a reach of the figure. Without thinking much, he dragged the figure of the person along with his own towards the bank of the river.

When he finally succeeded in rescuing the person and came back to the bank of thr river. He caught his breaths for moments. He relaxed himself.

The figure was lying on the ground facing it. Taehyung, the Alpha, sat down on his knees. He wanted to check how many wounds were there, also how deep and bad they were. After all, he was an expert in herbal medicines. He thought if he could heal the wounds of the man. Yes, it was man as he could see now. He flipped the body so that he could see the face of the man.

But Moon Goddess had other plans.

He realised it later.

He was stunned, and his whole body stiffened as soon as he discovered the face of the man lying there.

Not blinking, not moving, not even breathing properly. Taehyung was shocked.

It was...........

It was his Zeha. It was his Luna.
