At eight o'clock, the purple Bugatti arrived punctually at the entrance of Sterling Group. The doorman and receptionist immediately stood to welcome Mr. Sterling.
Emma Hart stood beside Damien Sterling, clad in a designer business suit and three-inch heels, holding his lunch for the day.
In the CEO's office, Assistant Lee had been waiting by the door for some time.
"Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling?" Assistant Lee looked at Emma Hart in professional attire with a puzzled expression.
"Good morning, Assistant Lee," Emma Hart responded awkwardly with a shy smile. She couldn't even bring herself to explain why she was here.
Damien Sterling offered no further explanation, simply stating that Emma Hart was accompanying him.
