The driver was already waiting behind the car, "Miss Emma, would you like to get in?"
Emma Hart nodded, and the driver carefully opened the car door, waiting for her to enter.
The driver, one of the few Damien Sterling regularly used, was older than the others.
Most of Damien's drivers were young men, except for this one.
Curiosity piqued, Emma asked, "You must be one of Mr. Sterling's longtime drivers, aren't you?"
The elderly man, upon hearing Emma's comment, suddenly radiated confidence as if being a longtime driver for Mr. Sterling was a matter of pride.
"Not exactly. I was taken on by Mr. Sterling in an exceptional case. I only started working for Mr. Sterling when I was 45, and it's been five years now."
Feeling a bit embarrassed, Emma clarified, "Sir, I meant no offense. I just noticed that all his other drivers are quite young, and you're... just a bit older."
