"Get out of my way!" Emma Hart pushed the physical training teacher aside as he reached out to stop her. She gently scooped her child into her arms, being extremely careful not to hurt him.
"Tsk!" The physical training teacher shook his head, disapproving of Emma Hart's actions. "You're spoiling the child. This will harm him in the long run."
"Do you expect me to just stand by and watch him cry? Is that what a mother does?" Emma Hart angrily retorted.
"The child cries because he knows someone will pick him up. If you don't, he won't cry," the teacher argued, believing that the child's dependency was the real issue and that he could handle the situation himself.
Emma Hart carefully lifted her child and called out towards the living room, "Mrs. Harris! Come and take Joshua and Gabriel back inside!"
"Yes, Mrs. Turner!" Mrs. Harris hurriedly ran from the kitchen, took the children, and returned to the living room.
