Emma Hart felt a pang of fear. This man always found ways to torment her! She really didn't want to agree. She had just regained a bit of freedom, and now she was about to fall into another trap. It was hard to bear.
But beggars can't be choosers. She sighed inwardly. Who could she blame but herself?
"Fine! I agree!" Emma Hart thought. It's just a month! She could grit her teeth and get through it. She wasn't afraid!
"Good, very good," Damien Sterling applauded her.
"Then let's sign a contract right now!" Damien Sterling quickly wrote up a contract by hand and handed it to Emma Hart to sign.
