'Why did she want me to watch?'
I had been waiting here watching her stand alone for about 20 minutes now crouched behind these bushes, man my knees are killing me!
"Tetsu, can you wait behind those bushes and just watch over me?"
This was what she asked after leading me to the back of the school after classes were done for the day.
"Consider this our final transaction."
She said as she gave me a serious look.
'I'll finally be free, my weekends will be back to being filled with catching up on my favorite LNs and finishing all those eroge I put on hold!'
Another 8 minutes passed and as my knees were finally reaching their human limits, he came around the corner of the building.
"Ah, Chii-chan! I was wondering who that note was from, so it was you!"
Chii-chan took a few steps to close their distance.
"Y-Yuuki-kun, I've been waiting for you."
"So what was it you needed from me?"

'Oh come on get on with it already! Think of my knees!'

Yuuki looked like he knew what was coming and wasn't seemingly surprised though his ears were a bit red.

He says with a smile that would make any girl in this school swoon.
'This guy is the enemy of all teenage boys!'
"Would it be alright if I gave you my answer tomorr-"
'Alright I think its time for me to sneak outta here without being detected.'
She bows deeply
"...ow? Huh? Wait....what?"
'...huh?'
"I had feelings for you but I feel differently now, but I still wanted to confess those feelings to you for myself, sorry for the confusion!"
She bows deeply again
"Ah....so I lost then huh? Haha."
He rubs the back of his head while letting out a laugh
"So, who's the lucky guy then?"
"No comment."
She puts her hands up making an x with her fingers
"Boooooring lol. Well, if we're finished here I guess I'll be leaving then..."
He turns to walk away but stops suddenly, taking in a deep breath before...
"Tetsuuuuuuuuuuu!"
'eh? why's he screaming my name'
After catching his breath he disappears around the corner of the building.
I finally abandon my hiding spot and stand up.
"Hey! What the hell was that?! I gave you a whole semester of my school life and free time and this is what you did with it? GIVE ME BACK MY CHRISTMAS BREAK!"
She laughs at me while covering her mouth
"Hey, seriously now, what gives? You told me you had the hots for him from day one and now when it comes down to it you changed your mind? What happened?"
She walks away from me a bit then turns around
"What can I say? I found a new target!"
