Chapter 310 - Wedding Ceremony Last Part

After a while, Eiji and Miku left the room and returned to the corridor.

"Be careful."

Eiji caught Miku who was tripping over her own feet.

"Thank you, Kamiki-kun. You saved me."

With a blush on her cheeks and beads of sweat on her forehead, Miku looked exhausted as if she had done a lot of strenuous exercise.

"You should avoid meeting Nino and the others. You should rest first."

"You're right. I'm worried that Nino and Ichika will realize something's wrong with me."

While fixing her rumpled dress after being messed up by Eiji, Miku decided to go to the bathroom to freshen up.

"Sigh… I'll accompany you."

Seeing her walk in a strange way, Eiji was sure that anyone experienced would know what happened to her.

"Mm." Miku nodded softly.

Every time someone in the corridor noticed Miku, Eiji would block them like a boyfriend being protective of his girlfriend from other people's stares.

'Maybe I'll get pregnant before Nino.'

Enjoying Eiji's attention, Miku touched her 'full' stomach.

"..."

Unaware of the girl next to him's inner thoughts, Eiji returned to the dressing room after escorting Miku to the ladies' room.

Coincidentally, Nino came out from inside.

"Where were you?"

"The toilet."

"Sorry, I made you wait a long time."

"Is everything ready inside?"

"Yes, Yotsuba is almost done. Now we're going to the reception hall, the ceremony is about to start."

"Then let's go to the reception hall."

Holding Eiji's hand with a happy expression, Nino didn't realize that her boyfriend had just made love to her sister.

It was easy for Eiji to eliminate the scent of perfume as well as the hickey Miku left on his body, leaving no trace whatsoever.

The sun shone brightly in the clear blue sky, enveloping the magnificent hotel building where Yotsuba and Fuutarou's wedding was taking place.

In the elegant grand hall, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and happiness. White roses adorned every corner of the room, the tables, and the altar where the blessing ceremony was taking place.

The invited guests had taken their respective seats, sitting in neatly arranged chairs facing the altar. At the front table, the families of the two newlyweds sat.

The groom's family consisted of Uesugi Isanari, Fuutarou's father, and Raiha, his cheerful younger sister. Meanwhile, the bride's family was Nakano Maruo, the father who seemed cold but loving, and Yotsuba's four sisters: Ichika, Nino, Miku, and Itsuki.

Eiji, who was a special guest as Nino's boyfriend, was also given a special seat near them.

"..."

Facing Maruo's sharp gaze, Eiji's heart remained calm like a lake. His future father-in-law might be able to intimidate most people, but not him.

In fact, his background was more prestigious than the Nakano family. So, Eiji didn't feel inferior like Fuutarou.

'I should have refused Nino's proposal.' Maruo narrowed his eyes and looked away.

Now he was a little regretful for letting Eiji work at his daughter's restaurant. As a result, the other party stole his daughter's heart.

"They're coming!" Itsuki exclaimed excitedly.

Everyone looked towards the entrance at the same time. When the groom, Fuutarou, appeared in an elegant black suit, the entire room was filled with applause. Soon after, Yotsuba followed in a beautiful white dress, her characteristic cheerful smile making everyone feel warm.

As Fuutarou and Yotsuba walked to the altar that had been prepared in the middle of the room, the atmosphere became solemn. All eyes were on the couple, witnessing this important moment in their lives.

The pastor leading the ceremony stood in front of the altar, wearing a white robe with a golden cross on his chest.

Fuutarou and Yotsuba stood side by side, their hands clasped tightly together.

The pastor began the procession with a calm but authoritative voice.

"Today, we gather to celebrate the wedding of Uesugi Fuutarou and Nakano Yotsuba, two souls who have been brought together by true love."

"..."

Everyone listened attentively. Raiha held her father's hand with emotion, while Ichika, Nino, Miku, and Itsuki sat side by side, watching with sparkling eyes.

"True love is not just about receiving, but also giving, sacrificing, and supporting each other in every step of life." The pastor continued.

He then invited the couple to make their sacred vows.

"Huft..."

Fuutarou took a deep breath, then looked at Yotsuba with a gentle smile.

"Yotsuba. From the moment we first met, I may not have realized how special you are. But over time, I've seen how amazing your heart is, your kindness, and your determination. Today, I promise to always support you, love you, and make you the center of my world."

Yotsuba looked at him with teary eyes, then smiled broadly.

"Uesugi-san… No, Fuutarou-san, you are the one who has always believed in me, even when I didn't believe in myself. You helped me find my purpose, strengthened me, and loved me for who I am. I promise to always be by your side, through thick and thin, until the end of my life."

In the next few years, she would retract the words she spoke today. Of course, no one knew this future for now, even someone like Eiji.

The past is set, the future is full of uncertainty.

The pastor smiled and raised his hand.

"With this, I pronounce you husband and wife. Groom, you may kiss your bride."

Loud applause filled the room as Fuutarou gently kissed Yotsuba in front of the altar. Raiha even jumped out of her seat and shouted, "Onii-chan, you're so cool!" which was met with laughter from everyone.

"Eiji, I want our wedding to be more lively than this." Nino whispered in Eiji's ear.

Of course, she dared to make this demand because she knew Eiji was from a rich family. Otherwise, a simple wedding would be enough for her.

"Of course." Eiji nodded, secretly glancing at Miku, who was also looking at him with a faint smile.

Eiji: "😐"

After the blessing was over, the next event was the bride and groom's speech.

Yotsuba stood on a small stage, holding the microphone with both hands, while Fuutarou stood next to her.

"First of all, I want to thank everyone who has come today." Yotsuba said, her voice clear even though it trembled a little from nervousness.

"Today is the happiest day of my life, and I wouldn't be here without the support of many people."

Then, she turned to her father.

"Dad, thank you for being a pillar in my life and my sisters' lives. Although you often seem indifferent, we all know it's because you care and want the best for us. I'm so grateful to be your daughter."

Maruo's face remained calm, but gentleness could be seen in his eyes.

Yotsuba looked at Ichika, Nino, Miku, and Itsuki.

"You are the best part of my life. Thank you for always being there for me, through thick and thin. You are my source of strength, and I feel blessed to be part of this family."

She bowed her head for a moment, her voice trembling slightly as she continued.

"And finally, to Fuutarou-san."

Turning to the man next to her, her eyes were filled with love.

"You are my first love, and now you are my husband. I never imagined I would marry someone so amazing. Thank you for loving me and accepting me for who I am."

***👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻***

Everyone gave a long round of applause. Ichika and Itsuki secretly wiped away their tears, while Raiha looked at Yotsuba with admiration.

After Yotsuba, it was Fuutarou's turn to give a speech. He stood tall, took the microphone from his wife's hand, and smiled slightly.

"To be honest, I'm not a very good speaker."

Fuutarou's words were immediately met with a small chuckle from the guests.

"But I want to say a few things."

He looked at his family first.

"Dad, Raiha, thank you for always supporting me. I wouldn't be who I am today without you."

Then, he looked at the Nakano family.

"And to my new family, thank you for accepting me. I know I may not be a perfect person, but I'll do my best to make Yotsuba happy."

Finally, he looked at Yotsuba with a gentle smile.

"Yotsuba, I may not be the most romantic man, but I will always try to be the best husband for you. You are the one who made my life better, and I'm so grateful to spend the rest of my life with you."

***👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻***

Applause filled the room again. Raiha cheered, while Nino whispered to Eiji.

"He's not romantic, but at least he's honest."

Eiji just smiled faintly at the comment.

The event continued with a dinner together, the bride and groom's first dance, and warm moments of togetherness. The guests enjoyed delicious food while chatting.
