Iida and Momo were sitting beside the bed that a sleeping Daisuke was laying on both of them very worried about him, the door was quickly opened, showing two very worried parents.
"Where is he?! Where's my son?!" Miyoka yelled, startling Iida and Momo as they turned around to see Miyako already walking towards them, going to hug Daisuke, worried for her son.
Iida and Momo decided to give Miyako a bit of space, going to Hayato as he entered room. "What happened?" Hayato got down on one knee as he looked at Iida and Momo as they started explaining what happened, both Iida's and Momo's eyes were a little red, showing signs that they were crying.
"Excuse me, Mr and Mrs Yaoyorozu, please follow me" the school nurse said as she was holding papers, Miyako didn't want to leave her son but Hayato managed to convinced her by saying that Iida and Momo will watch him, Iida and Momo also said to her to believe in them and that they'll call them if he wakes up, Miyako reluctantly agreed as she and Hayato followed the school nurse outside.
After a while, the school nurse explaining to Miyako and Hayato on her evaluation, speculating that his quirk must have been manifesting, possibly resulting on his headache. Daisuke slowly woke up, both of his hands were being held by Momo and Iida, both seem to have fallen asleep while waiting for the adults to finish.
"Ugh.. what happened..?" He slowly sat up, as he looked around, making Iida and Momo wake up slowly as they looked up at Daisuke, staring at him for a few seconds before screaming.
"Daisuke! Your awake!" They both stood up and immediately hugged him, as the Adults walked inside hearing the commotion.
"What happened exactly?" Daisuke said in an unusually cold tone, making Miyako and Hayato look at each other.
Iida and Momo start explaining to Daisuke about what happened about how he screamed and fainted.
"I see.. Thanks for watching over me, I guess.." Daisuke tired to show his genuine smile but for some reason he couldn't, he guessed it was because of the overwhelming, overload of information when his quirk awakened, he decided to just show a fake smile and laughed.
"Sorry, sorry, looks like I worried you all for nothing-" Daisuke said as if he didn't just had an intense headache and fainted a few moments ago.
Miyako and Hayato went to Daisuke and hugged him, the school nurse asked Iida and Momo to give Daisuke some space but they didn't want to leave, still worried about him. But Hayato asked them to understand that they have to talk to Daisuke and just asked them to wait outside room, understanding that they were worried about Daisuke
Iida puts his hand on Momo's shoulder, saying that they understand as the school nurse guides them outside, leaving Daisuke, Miyako and Hayato alone so they could talk.
Miyako and Hayato looked at Daisuke as they sat on the bed, both of them holding hands with Daisuke.
"How are you, son?" Hayato asked, worried, as soon as he got the phone call that his son fainted, he cleared all his schedule for the day and called Miyako who did the same and rushed here, not caring if there were problems at their companies right now, above all else, their family comes first.
"I'm fine, Mother and Father-" Daisuke covered his mouth, not sure why he was speaking so formally.
"You've changed.. I can tell.." Miyako said as she looked at Daisuke with worry in her eyes.
Daisuke looked at his parents and sighed, he took his hands as he placed them in a bowl position and said.
"Baby flame" a floating box that had books in it appeared above his head, one of the books fly out and opens itself as the the written words on it disappeared, as it it never existed in the first place as a tiny fireball appears in his hands, infront of his parents.
"..Tada~ I guess the headache was because my quirk manifested-?" Daisuke said as the tiny flame slowly disappeared as he looked at his parents a bit worried on what their reaction is going to be.
Hayato and Miyako were shocked at what happened just now, they stayed silent for a few seconds then hugged Daisuke again, saying in unison. "You got your quirk! Your going to be an amazing hero!"
Daisuke was finally smiling like his normal self again and started crying a little. "I- I'm sorry.. I- I got scared at the sudden overflow of information in my head, I- I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.. I- I'll be fine.. I promise.."
He was always putting up a 'tough boy act' infront of his sister and parents, worried that they'd worry them if he acted like something was wrong, in truth, he was still worried about the future, even tho he had the advantage of knowing what will happen in the future, he was still scared of losing the only family that showed him true love, even his past family never really loved him, he grew up as an orphan before being reincarnated after all.
He panicked when Miyako said He and Momo were going to Somei, worried that his knowledge on the anime and manga would essentially become useless since his presences there was an unexpected turn of events.
Miyako and Hayato were sad that Daisuke was crying but they were somewhat happy, they knew Daisuke was too mature for his age, more than other kids would be, but they thought nothing of it, they were somewhat glad that he was crying and apologizing, that his 'tough boy act' was gone for a moment to allow him to act like any child would.
"It's okay, dear, It's okay" Miyako said as she hugged him tightly, patting his head just as Daisuke fell asleep again, exhausted more than he, himself thought.
Miyako and Hayato placed Daisuke down on the bed to let him sleep and smiled, the only other time they've seen Daisuke look like a child was when he sleeps, other than that he looked like a mature boy who didn't act like any 4 year old would.
