Her slender waist seemed so small that his big hands could wrap around it.
The faintly visible edges of her underclothes showed a pink silk fabric that complemented her radiant skin.
Rory swallowed hard. The movement of his Adam's apple betrayed his unease as he averted his gaze.
Something inside of him seemed to stir, ready to spring into action.
Rory found himself struggling to breathe, almost gasping for air.
"You shameless woman, hurry up and put your clothes back on!"
"Oh, to pretend a noble gentleman. Weren't you the one who tore my clothes apart, you hypocrite!"
Bailey lowered her head and fastened her clothes as her mind racing with relentless thoughts.
Why was it Rory that came? It appeared that he, too, had fallen victim to deception.
Who was the mastermind behind all of this?
"Whether you believe it or not, I was also led here.
Someone spiked my drink, but I noticed it. Do you think I would be so foolish as to engage in such activities without considering the consequences? To lead me into a situation where I would only end up being clowned?
And you, you were prepared to kill me without even clarifying the situation! Rory, even if I die, I'll haunt you as a vengeful spirit, dragging you down to hell with me!"
2/7
Upon hearing Bailey's words, Rory glanced at her intensely.
Although he didn't trust this woman, she had become much more intelligent, displaying a sense of decency.
Could it be that someone else set them up?
"If we hadn't anticipated it, we would have fallen victim to that thing and ended up in bed together."
Rory's lips twitched. "Can't you have some restraint? Coming from a woman, such words shouldn't leave you embarrassed?"
"Why should I be embarrassed? I'm already married. But I didn't expect you to be so innocent. Are you still a virgin?"
After all, Vic claimed that Rory had never been intimate with Brenna.
Wouldn't that indicate he was still a virgin?
Bailey's smile was laced with mockery.
Rory's ears reddened at this point, and he had the urge to strangle her.
He composed himself with all his might. "Alright, the most important thing now is to find the culprit. I believe someone will soon come to capture us, this 'ill-timed' pair.
Bailey fell silent.
How could Rory criticize her when even his own words were so slick?
As expected, a figure cautiously approached the window after waiting for a while.
It seemed the person wanted to eavesdrop on the activities within the room.
Since the other party had prepared so earnestly, how could she disappoint them?
Under Rory's perplexed gaze, Bailey placed her hands on the wooden pillar of the bed.
She swayed gently while emitting rhythmic moans.
Rory's eyes widened in shock. Her moans tickled his throat, leaving him thirsty.
Had she lost her mind?
Not only had she lost her sanity, but she also intended to drive him crazy.
Bailey's voice was seductively bright, sounding like an aroused cat, exuding a coquettish charm.
The person near the wall covered their mouth in
excitement and quickly left. Bailey stopped her actions only when the figure was no
longer visible. Her lips curled into a smile. It seemed that there would be an entertaining show to watch soon.
Rory pointed at her speechlessly. "You... you're shameless!"
"What's wrong with sacrificing a little to lure the fish?"
She pouted, seemingly annoyed. "You're not even cooperating. Don't you know how hard I was trying? Why didn't you put in the effort as well?"
For some reason, even her annoyed glance seemed endlessly captivating to Rory.
The latter turned around stiffly, his body tensing up.
Was that Bailey? Could some mischievous spirit have possessed her?
The maid eavesdropping by the wall was none other than Lilly, the attendant serving Brenna.
Initially, Brenna had no intention of involving her people, but the absence of the king and queen consort from the Royal Palace changed the situation.
It would be inappropriate for others to search for them openly, and what if the emperor suspected that Sidney had something to do with it?
That wouldn't be good.
Letting her maids discover it themselves was better, making it more convincing
Just as a lady was talking with Brenna, Lilly rushed over with her face pale and frightened.
Brenna looked at her reproachfully. "Why are you being so careless outside? What if you accidentally fell and got hurt? Didn't I ask you to check on the queen consort's resting place? Why are you in such a panic?"
"Ms. Mack, something terrible has happened! The queen consort, she's in the backyard with a man! They're making a lot of noise, and the queen consort even made those soft gasping sounds. I overheard it and was terrified."
Lilly's voice couldn't be ignored.
She didn't mention that the man was Rory, leaving room for speculation.
In addition to the individuals associated with the Fourth Prince's household, the surrounding onlookers also caught wind of the news and displayed expressions of utter astonishment.
How unbelievable! The dignified queen consort engaged in indecent behavior at the royal wedding banquet!
The emperor, empress, and noble concubine had not left yet. Could the queen consort have lost her mind?
Brenna covered her mouth. "Are you sure? Could you have mistaken the person?"
"I could never be mistaken. I couldn't have misheard the voice of the queen consort, especially since I confirmed it with other maids in residence of they told me the queen consort stayed in that room."
Crash!
The cup slipped from Brenna's hand, attracting everyone's attention.
"Ms. Mack, please be careful not to hurt yourself. How about I accompany you to the backyard?"
Since Rory was also absent from the banquet, many people were uncertain if the man involved was Rory.
Brenna stood up with a gloomy expression and walked quickly towards the backyard.
Those spectating wouldn't miss this opportunity and follow closely behind her.
The discussions grew louder along the way, reaching ears of several high-ranking individuals.
Emperor Zachary's face turned extremely unpleasant. If his daughter-in-law was genuinely involved in such a scandalous affair, not even cutting off her head would ease his anger!
Jayden turned pale. He had thought his eldest daughter was making progress not long ago.
Who would have expected her to commit such a disgraceful act? The Noel family would suffer because of her.
Perhaps due to her haste, Brenna's forehead was covered in a thin layer of sweat.
Under normal circumstances, she would have maintained her composure and not walked so quickly.
But now, she couldn't wait to catch Bailey in the act!
She sneered and thought, "Bailey, oh Bailey, today is the day of your downfall. Not even the heavens can save you now!"
Emperor Zachary might not do anything to his son, Rory, but he would severely punish his daughter-in-law.
Outside the guest room, the sound of approaching footsteps gradually grew louder.
Bailey and Rory exchanged a glance, both showing cold determination in their eyes.
But they remained composed, showing no signs of panic.
Bailey leisurely poured herself a cup of tea.
Before she could take a sip, the door was forcefully pushed open.
Brenna said with heartbreaking disappointment, "Your Highness, how could you do such a thing behind His Majesty's back!"
However, to Brenna's surprise, instead of witnessing the woman engage in Intimate activities, she found Bailey calmly sipping tea with a serene smile, casting her gaze filled with sarcasm.
Across from Bailey sat Rory, dressed in elegant attire.
A chessboard was neatly arranged between them, with several pieces already placed.
It seemed they had been playing the chess for quite some time.
