"May I," Alessandro asked her, giving her his hand. She accepted, and they made their way to the centre of the hall under the shimmering chandelier that shone above them. Everything felt perfect at the moment. It was their moment and first dance.
He pulled her in and placed his other hand around her slender waist while she placed her hand on his shoulder. The first tone played and he led her. From the way they stared at each other, it was obvious they were in love, and all they saw was themselves.
The soft music from the instrumentals started to play and she followed his lead. Their eyes didn't leave each other for a second. "You have gotten better than the last time we danced." Alessandro commented.
"A lot has happened in seven years," she said, leaning in closer to rest her head on his shoulders. "Including learning how to dance. I am glad you don't have jelly legs again." He taunted her, causing her to pout.
