Miles was surprised to see Brandy; after the last argument they had, he had no idea how they talked to her. He had thought of meeting up with her, but he wasn't sure about where he stood.
"Hi, Miles," Brandy muttered; Yuliya could sense the tension between them. As much as she loved getting on her younger brother's nerves, She knew they needed their privacy, plus she had a lot on her plate recently.
"Excuse me, let me not intrude on your drama," she mentioned, then left; the sound of her heels clicking on the floor echoed as she made her way upstairs.
"I thought you didn't want to have anything to do with me," Miles said as he made his way towards her. Brandy just stood there clutching her dress; she didn't know she would be the one who sought out Miles first, but the situation changed.
"I am sorry to bother you but I kind of need your help," Brandy replied.
