Esmeralda went quiet, knowing that could also be a possibility. She was on her feet with her hands clenched. "Please don't get her involved. She is all I have." She said on a final note then walked towards the door. Before she pushed the door open Aleric voice spoke from behind her.
"You know I would not do anything to harm her. All I want is to protect you." His voice was solemn filled with emotions. He had a lot of unspoken emotions laced with his voice that Esmeralda understood.
"You want to protect her, but you made decisions without her knowledge. What makes you feel that Elias is the right decision for her?" With that being said Esmeralda left the room.
