That night was long and none ending. Venessa's eyes stayed up the entire night unable to catch any sleep. She was exhausted from the wake keep event but her eyes refused to sleep.
After Karissa's death, she started having nightmares about her parents death and Karissa's last moments in different forms hunting her. It made it unbearable for her to sleep.
Before dawn finally arrived, Venessa had managed to fall asleep very late in the night but immediately the sun rays hinted at the horizon she woke up. Her eyes had a very big eye bag under them. She opened her eyes and managed to sit up on the bed rubbing it.
They were heavy but today was going to be a long day and she needed all the support and strength she could get. Immediately she was done rubbing her eyes, her nose caught a weird smell in the air that made her face scrunch up.
